They are IMPOSSIBLE to get on... I'm so sad! I think these are maybe the sweetest boots I've ever seen and wanted so badly for them to work out for my 18 month old son. But I can't even begin to express how nearly impossible they are to get on his feet. He wears a size 5 and like all the other shoes through this brand, the boots run a full size small, so we purchased the 6. Once my husband and I (because yes, it took *both* of us) managed to get them on his feet he seemed comfortable and happy running around freely. However, as all parents with toddlers know, there is no way we have the time, the patience, and/or the will to fight with him every time we am trying to get him dressed. :(

See Kai Run are our favorite brand of shoes for comfort, looks and quality. Usually this brand of shoe is easy to get on which is a major consideration in getting a little one dressed or helping him dress himself. Unfortunately, these are IMPOSSIBLE to get on, my 5 year old can put on his own shoes, but not these. I had to muscle them on with a ridiculous amount of struggle and could only get his foot half way in. Other shoes we have had by this brand opened extra wide for very easy dressing. I feel these were very poorly designed for that reason. What a shame. They will have to go back. I'm very disappointed! also, I had to rate the comfort of the shoe to submit the review. I imagine they would be very comfortable if I could get them on his feet, so I gave " comfort" good marks.

This are really lightweight,my son looks like he’s very comfortable in them . The only issue with them was that they run small, my son wore size 6 all summer and it was time to go for a size up in the fall so I bought these boots in size 7 and they were exactly as small as his old footwear witch was 6,so I had to exchange it for size 8 and it was perfect. And i wish they had a zipper on the side but I guess they would not be waterproof anymore. Other than that this is a great boot and if you get the right size the foot will slide in pretty easy.

Very cute and well made boot. Love the look of it and that it’s waterproof. Having said that, it was very hard to get the boot on my kiddo’s foot. I thought having the stretchy laces I could easily slip his foot in but it was very difficult. There’s no pull strap at the heel so I’d have to have him stand up and push his foot in while I tried to hold the back up. Just not for us. I need something I can get on his foot easily.

Super disappointed. I love this brand and most of my sons shoes are this brand. I was so excited to see something so super cute and waterproof, however it is impossible to get it on his foot since there is no pulltab or anything. I basically had to strong-arm his foot into the shoe which was a nightmare....so I ended up having to return it such a bummer!

These shoes are great. Highly recommend.

I purchased these for my active 3-year-old with wide feet. Kiddo has worn See Kai Run Atlas boots in years past. The waterproofing is perfect for winters in our part of the country (We only get about one snowstorm big enough to overwhelm these) For whatever reason, we didn't experience the trouble other have with putting on the boots or taking them off. We purchased a full size larger than normal. Traction is good enough for climbing up playground slides.

My 4 year old grandson has only taken these shoes off to sleep, otherwise he wears them all day long and LOVES them - comfortable, he can put them on by himself, and the waterproof / puddle-approved aspect of these shoes makes them the very best for an active, curious 4 year old.

Got these for my 5 year old. They are very lightweight and flexible. He is just getting into a size 12 shoes now and these fit as expected. They seem to be very comfortable for him. He has not complained. They are not particularly warm so I would not recommend for cold temperatures. He wears these on mild days in the winter and I believe they will be a good spring shoe as they are advertised as waterproof. Nice rubber sole. Stitching of the fabric parts is acceptable if the thread is frayed.

Perfect size and very comfortable, flexible sole. The only drawback, getting the foot in is a little tough because the laces are elastic and the opening not very big. But wasn’t awful, the other features made these worth keeping

Great shoe! It’s super light and flexible and my son loves wearing his boots. Based on other reviews, I ordered one full size larger, and that was a perfect fit (my son wears a 9 and I ordered a 10). Love that its waterproof—perfect for playing in the park after it rains.

This is the third pair of See Kai Run shoes that we have bought my son. They’re pricey for a 2 year old, but they’re great quality and fit him really well. These are very cute on him, and he loves them. We haven’t tried them in snow or rain yet.

My picky 4 years old loves these shoes. He is newly in a size 12 ( sometimes 12’s fit a bit loose) but this 12 fit perfect. He loves them and they seem to be a very hardy shoe. Hopefully they hold up. My son is very tough on shoes.

Good but one of the toggles fell off shortly after purchasing.

Second time buying these boots for my toddler. They are great; lightweight but waterproof. Perfect for wearing to school on a snowy or wet day. My only issue is that they can be difficult to get on his feet. They really should have a pull tab on the back of the shoe.

They looked super cute but literally impossible to get on. Once we got them on, which took forever, the stretch laces broke. Wish they were easier to get on. Had to return.

We ordered the shoes over a week ago, and we have been waiting for them eagerly. They did not arrive, we received no notice in the mail to pick them up, and now it says it will be returning them to the sender. We’ve never had this problem before with a delivery. It deserves one star, because he’s got no shoes, and they’re unreliable. Zappos is off their game.
