I had purchased this coat from an outdoor clothing store that sold various other brands. I've read great reviews from Arcteryx and decided to get this coat in black. I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. I got this in size small. I needed a warm coat to wear on a cold day in San Francisco where I live and also bring to NYC on a trip in March. I wore this every day in 40 degree weather, sometimes it rained, and it was perfect! The style is very minimalistic. I love that it doesn't have a logo on the chest like most jackets/coats and it only has a subtle embroidered logo on the left wrist. I was looking at other brands and was turned off by excessive logos, particularly one donning all of Canada on the upper sleeve. I prefer under the radar clothing that I know is good quality. Back to the coat itself... the hood is awesome. It's roomy and protected my ears when I didn't wear a beanie in the cold, but could also fit a beanie if you wore one. The 2 side pockets and inside chest pocket was enough utility for me. The overlapping chest design kept my neck and chest warm without needing a scarf; layer accordingly if it's below 40. The arm length is great. It goes past my wrist which some people might consider long but it works great in cold weather. In San Francisco, this coat works great for when it's "cold" AKA 50 degrees with minimal to no wind chill. The minimalist design makes it look compact and lighter than it really is, but it's extremely warm, especially if you layer underneath. It doesn't feel overwhelming and the weight of this coat is unreal. It is so lightweight, you just think you're wearing a cloud. In the rain, I've found it to still keep warm and the water just wicks off. The length hits me above my knees. I think this is a perfect investment for a coat to last years! Highly recommend this one.

Un manteau au look urbain et aux qualits techniques. Idal pour le passage entre les saisons froides.

I purchased the Osanna, off white, but returned, as colour didn't work. Would love to see this style in a warm tone. I purchased the "Andra" coat in " Kirigami" colour, love the coat and colour!

I love this coat. I don't buy down products so this coat was/is a wonderful option. I'm small-framed so have a size small. Sleeves are long with snuggly ribbing to keep snow/rain/wind out. I commute (trains/walk) between NYC and Brooklyn and have always felt comfortable and protected from weather. The asymmetrical style and simple/modern cut is so very stylish. I often am asked about my coat. I chose the white colorjust love it. I bought it last year at the beginning of the fall season and then returned it because I thought I had spent too much money. It wasn't a week before I went right back to the shop and bought it again and I am so happy I did. I'll wear it for years. This coat is machine washable. For real. Have done it a few times following the directions exactly (gentle machine wash inside out and then turn right side out for line dry).

Love this coat. Light but warm and durable. I usually fit between a small and medium (5'7" 135 lbs) but I'm glad i got a small in this because it is spacious. I had hoped to substitute my old winter coat with this but I think this jacket is best for commuting in and around the city. If I choose to wear it on a day that's below neg. 5-10 celcius then I would definitely need to have more layers (like the Atom jacket which I also love). Just know that this coat is not meant for freezing freezing temperatures.

My husband has severe down allergies, so I've been searching for a truly warm synthetic winter coat. This is the best thing I've found so far. It's not as long as I'd like it to be, and definitely lacks the style of the Patera or Centrale Parka, but it is definitely warm. However this jacket completely lacks shape, and the fact that there are no baffles exacerbates this. I'm slim but curvy, and feel like I look like a pillow in it. I plan on keeping it, because it's still the best option I have, however if you are able to wear down, I would recommend finding a more flattering jacket. Arc'teryx, please make a really warm synthetic jacket that is as long an flattering as your down options.

I was extremely excited to purchase an arcteryx coat for my wife as I've read many extolments regarding design, insulation, and durability. My wife was a replacing a North Fave jacket she's owned for 11 years which has been perfect except for its natural attenuation of down over the years. We were keen to find a jacket which would emulate the quality of the North Face jacket as wel as provide a synthetic insulation. We were disappointed to how large the XS fits as well as the lack of a zipper or magnets mechanism to ensure optimal closure. We have returned the jacket.

Disappointed in the sizing of this jacket. I'm a medium in a bunch of Arc'teryx jackets and received this for Christmas and the medium is really big. It looks huge and dummy on. Want to love this but it looks unflattering. Can't exchange because my son too the tags off. Own quite a few jackets and this is the first time I'm not very happy with it.
