True to size and comfortable. Great boot for day hikes or working in the yard.

I got these boots for hunting and trucking through the woods, now I want a pair for work

SOOOO glad they started making these boots with GORE-TEX lining again! I have purchased these boots for at least 10 years now because of the comfort and waterproof Gore-Tex lining. I mow grass & do landscapes/hardscapes for a living & wear these boots 12 to 14 hrs a day 6 days a week & they last me a little more than 6 months before the bottoms are wore out. I'm not sure how well these boots do for hiking because I walk entirely too much at work on a variety of terrain, including steep hillsides, to even consider hiking for recreation. These boots are also great for outdoor events walking in mud & rain as long as you wear rain pants & the pant legs cover the top half of the boot. I will definitely continue to purchase these boots as long as they maintain the current quality of construction and have Gore-Tex lining. These boots come in three different colors & widths of medium & wide so I can't really point out any cons other than maybe add narrow & extra wide to the sizing for those people in that range because the right size boot is very important for foot health, comfort & overall fatigue. Also, I do wish the toe of the boot was made as wide as the widest point of the boot to prevent inward curving of the toes & potential bunions over long term use. A few years back they quit making these boots with Gore-Tex lining & seemed to have made a cheaper boot of less quality that were only waterproof for a few weeks & I wore them out completely with holes in the bottom in less than 3 months (complete junk!). I'm not sure why a company like Timberland would make the decision to get rid of Gore-Tex lining to use their own TimberDry lining as a direct replacement, even if it were half the price, considering the two are nothing alike in function or quality. Timberland has since started making the Chocorua Trail with TimberDry & the Chocorua Trail 2.0 with Gore-Tex so thank you Timberland for redeeming yourselves. Get the Gore-Tex if you DON'T want athletes foot!

I had the first ones which were very good but these 2.0 look and feel more durable great for work i may order the brown ones for going out.

I'll be short and to the point; I purchased the Chocorua Trail 2 Mid GTX in black on 26-MAR-20 and after a couple of weeks of wearing them in the rain and dry, I am getting the same model in Dark Brown.

He loves them. He has wide feet, and says they are comfortable with no blisters. Fantastic.

Got these for my husband as a gift, he LOVED them. He said they're super comfortable & very nice boots. We got another pair. One for work and one for him to casually wear.

Comfortable hiking boots

Great for hiking and outdoor wet work!

Great boot, they are sized true. I use them for around the house for outside work and as a winter boot. They are truly waterproof and comfortable from the start. These boots require very little breaking in. I would like to see a ringed tab added to the back for pulling them on.

I have bought this style of timberland boots for 5 plus years. I have walked over 600 miles on the AT in one summer did all of PA and Md. I love these boots they fill like feathers on wear them on the Strets of Washington DC to work. I purchased for my wife to use as well this year.

Perfect boot for hiking or other outdoor activities

Bought these boots for fishing They were very comfortable the moment i put them on. Have warn them three times on boat and have had dry feet.

I use them mostly for trail walk and in rainy season. Great quality. Feels comfortable and protective. Laces come off once in a while though.

Amazing very comfortable hiking shoes and well build

Bought them for my husband. Perfect fit. He says they are really comfortable. Instead of using them for work, which is what they were purchased for, he uses them when we go out. I need to purchase a different pair for work. He loves them.

I use the boots at least on a weekly basis. They are exceptionally comfortable and hopefully will be cooler in hot weather that the version w/o the Gor-tex which I also have.
