I wear boots nearly everyday for work and I've never felt anything as light and comfortable, yet durable as these boots. I would definitely purchase these and I wish I had known about them sooner. We went hiking in New Hampshire and I took these on a spin. Supremely comfortable. However, I wish they were more of a brown than an orange-brown and I will probably be replacing the black laces with brown ones. I would definitely recommend them and I wish I could wear them to work every day.

I received these Timberland hiking boots as a promotional item. I'm not much of a hiker, and had never heard of this style (although I was familiar with the Timberland brand), but must admit I thought they looked pretty stylish for hiking boots-I could totally see wearing these with jeans for a casual look. I was also impressed with the cushioning they provided-I wore them walking around the city (so far away from a hiking expedition) but found that the bottoms of my feet were pain-free after wearing them. The outer texture of the boots are a smooth leather which is waterproof (although there has been no rain since I've worn them, so I haven't had a chance to really test them out in the elements, so to speak). My one small issue with the boot was the width near the toes. I never buy shoes in wide, but they did feel a little snug in that area. It was not unbearable, but had I tried them on in a store I may have opted for a size bigger, or possibly a wide size if offered. But being leather, I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit after use because I really do like the look and feel of these boots. Like I said, I had never seen this style before I received them, but I would totally buy them, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. I would just advise trying them on, or if your foot size is even slightly wider than average, take that into account with sizing.

These boots are great for the outdoors, they are comfortable, warm and have a cool design. I happen to like orange so I like the appearance, but I can see how it may be to bold for those with alternative colour preferences. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others!

This would have been my 3rd pair of timberlands I've ordered in the past couple years all of them 12D. But this one however, was so near I could not put a foot in it. I'm not sure why you would manufacture a boot narrower then your other boots and not provide wide sizes as an option.

The front of the boot is very narrow for a size 9. The ball of my foot was rubbing against the side of the boot.

Just had them delivered , After trying them on I find the tongue is irritating both sides of my ankle also they look narrow making your feet look longer than other Timberland boots I have owned fortunately I have narrow feet so the fit is fine for me , I hope after breaking them in the irratation in the tongue area will be resolved.

Really narrow at the width part, even choose a wide version. Suggest half size up and wide option if you really like this boots for a over 2 hr hiking range purpose.

I like the overall comfort of these, but ultimately they aren't very stylish. Most people don't care about hiking in style, so it's probably not a big deal as long as they are comfortable for your long hikes. I've used them around the house, but have yet to take them on a significant hike.

The boot is not bad, there are just some flaws in the design that I think bring it down. The tongue is attached with additional fabric, and made it difficult to tie them super tightly, always felt loose around the lower shin area. Lastly, this could be a quick fix, but the shoelaces and the design of the shoe don't go together.

strange split tongue at base, makes for awkward shoe tying, the must be tied loose or else the hurt your foot top, laces come undone, overall very poor design, i gave them to someone less fortunate which hopefully does not make them even less fortunate, avoid this shoe

Don't expect the shoe laces in pictures, also too short. Customer service was unwilling to provide laces.

I have many pairs of Timbs. These are the best looking but least comfortable. I don't know if I got a defective pair, but I've broken them in for several weeks and they're still very uncomfortable and put too much pressure on my ankles. The tongue feels like a cheap plastic material and bruises my ankle bones and hasn't softened up over time. My Mt. Madsen Timberland hikers are way uglier but way more comfortable.
