I usually wear 9 Wide. The size 9 D slipped up and down on my foot. I exchanged them for 8 1/2 D and perfection! The 8 1/2 D fits and is very comfortable to wear all day long. I bought them because I was to have a hip replacement and needed shoes I didn't have to tie. These are perfect "walking and on your feet" shoes even after recovering from a replacement.

Lightweight, extremely comfortable, durable and they don’t look like ugly walking shoes.

I have bought these shoes before, so I knew what I was getting. These are great shoes for me as I'm on my feet a lot during the day. I love that they are slip-ons; no laces to tie!

These were great! I have had problems with my hip and cannot bend to tie my shoes, so to slip these on were great. They fit well and were very comfortable. Would by again and recommend.

Had to try three different sizes to get the right fit; I wear thick socks and still had to size down half a size. Usually order size 9 wide in new balance, but the 8 1/2 wide in this style was perfect.

After reading all the reviews I ordered the 9. I usually wear 9.5. They came and I thought they might be too big. I then ordered the 8.5. My heel didn’t fit right. I send back the 8.5. I wore the 9.5 to work today(nurse) and I love them!! Wish they’d come in dark red!!

After trying several pairs of slip-on/mule style walking shoes I picked this one because it is super comfortable, not too wide and the shoe 'has an hourglass figure'. It is actually flattering to the foot, not chunky looking like the others. The subtle angle of the rubber sole helps support the proper back and neck alignment while walking.

I don't want to take them off!! I have other New Balance running/walking shoes that lace up so the slip on is very convenient. Wasn't sure if the fit and support would be the same but now I'd say yes. Just wish they came in a greater variety of colors.

I use these as my in-home slippers as I have been battling Plantar Fasciitis for over a year and need the extra support. Love that they are easy-on and easy-off. Sturdy, non-skid soles, well-made and have the arc support and cushioning that I need. Not the most stylish but again, not wearing them outside the house so who cares.

My feet are different sizes with one being a half size smaller. I also wear a lift in one shoe to compensate for a shorter leg and my feet have gotten used to my Birkenstock width. I don't like things touching the ends of my toes. These things make getting a good fit difficult. I am not new to New Balance but have not been able to find the correct size and width. The WA900v1 was great right out of the box! They are lose enough to feel comfortable with my socks. In summer my feet swell so I believe they will be fine without socks too. I love that they are slip-on because old knees don't like twisting in order to tie laces. The only thing I'm not 100% crazy about is the color. I got the grey but it is more of a olive green/grey. It's not offensive and looks good with my jeans so I'm keeping them. I just mention it for others who may want a more true grey. All in all, I like the shoes and will be back for another pair soon. I just hope New Balance doesn't change them...again! One more thing, I recommend that you measure your foot with a ruler and compare to the size chart. I couldn't believe how much mine have changed over a few years!

Right out of the box these felt comfortable and I jumped for joy--perfect dog walking shoes for light rain on spring or summer days--sturdy bottoms mean I don't feel like I'm slipping on the street, and stepping onto grass for picking up...product I still feel secure. They are trendy looking enough for this 58 year old to feel like I'm not the "dog lady" but offer good support for uneven ground. I ordered a wide and it was perfect, although the first time around the block a slightly rough inner edge rubbed a little across the top of one foot but I rubbed a sock inside for a minute and it smoothed out. I only gave 4 stars for overall because when I look down at my feet the toe box looks really wide and round--from the side it's quite trim and edgy but it looks a little "dumpy" ? when I look down at them...it may just be me! Excellent purchase however, so I can ignore that one thing--find myself wearing them all day to do chores after walking the dog. When my feet feel warm, slip them off and keep on going. Nice!

I was looking for a slip-on sneaker and these fit the bill. They are comfortable, although there is no arch support. Unlike an actual sneaker, these soles are flat. I thought I would struggle with my feet slipping out of the shoe, but that doesn't happen. My feet sweat a good deal in these. I don't wear socks, but I was slightly annoyed that after only 2 wears, the insert smelled bad (i.e., not anti-microbial). The inserts are easy to remove & I will wash them tonight which will take care of that; However the inserts will not hold up to constant washing. I will need to replace them eventually, which may change the way my foot stays in the shoe (or doesnt). I have done short walks in these shoes (1-2 miles) and haven't had any foot pain. I don't think I'd walk a marathon in them. Would I buy them again? Yes...but i don't think I'd pay $99 for them. At this price I expect more foot support and better breathing.

After reading all the reviews, I ordered a Medium Width instead of my usual Wide. And they were all correct in saying the shoe runs wide! The fit was perfect BUT the inner material rubbed the top of my feet and irritated it. Also the shoes sort of angled away from my heels slightly. I’ve been a devout wearer of Easy Spirit and thought maybe this New Balance would give me even more cushioning (which I think it probably would have somewhat had the rest of it been acceptable). So I returned them. Oh well, at least I’ve got Easy Spirit! And I love doing business with Zappos!

I originally ordered a larger size and found them to way too large, so I next ordered a half size smaller. The smaller size felt a bit smaller than it should have and my foot kept slipping out of the shoe. There is no arch support and the sole of the shoe is very hard with no shock absorption. The shoe is us all plastic and polyester. Oh and the netting front portion of the shoe provides not support. NB calls the shoe "Walking", but there is little relevance to that. Whomever wrote previous reviews of how NB has degraded and cheapened this shoe style is accurate! I had purchased a pair a couple of years ago and they are far superior.

I love these shoes! They are so easy to put on, just slip your foot in, without having to fiddle around with getting the back up over the heel. They give excellent support.

Clearly one of the best things I ever did for my low arches/bunions/hammer toe/corns/problem feet.
