I purchased these for work to add a little style. They look great with a pair of jeans and long sleeve collared shirts. Roll up your sleeves and get to work! I will definitely be buying these again when the current pair wear out.

I had to return this shoe because it wasn't the one I really wanted and the service for return was excellent.

The perfect blend of casual, nice and utilitarian. Incredible quality boots. Bought them for the cold Denver winters and I can't help but wear them as a nice work shoe during the summers. Once these have been worn down, I will look no further for a different boot. Get em!

Of all the Timberland shoe styles I've worn over the years, this is my favorite. The fit and comfort are outstanding, and the water-proofing has
come in handy on many occasions. I don't have to worry about where I'm walking in any weather conditions. The tread grips very well and wears like iron.

I had an earlier version of this shoe for many, many years. Wore them through winter and summer in wet and dry weather until they literally fell apart. The new ones, while heavier than most oxfords are lighter than the previous pair so I don't notice the extra weight. This shoe only comes in a normal width so I bought a half size bigger than usual as I need extra width. They fit fine. Still it would be nice if they offered a wide width. They look good and I hope they work out as well as my previous pair.

For those of us endowed with that "in-between" sizes, the Wide of Timberland just nails it for my feet: 9.5 W. I can't fit a 9W (too short) and will stumble with a 10W. Not all W's are sized the same by other manufacturers. Besides the excellent fit, the boots are attractive. I recommend a softnot stiffbristle brush to get dust and debris removed from the upper. I've worn these with a suit; I wear them to walk my dogs. Versatile doesn't do justice to the boot description. Like someone else below, I can well imagine taking care of the uppers and re-soleing the boots in the future: they are that comfortable and worth keeping.

They are the best comfortable shoes that's why I only buy Timberlands shoes and boots is there any other. The reason I bought these shoes besides being so comfortable is they look sharp I can wear them for casual and dress up.

Bought these for my husband. The business shoes he was wearing, he kept falling. I had enough and found these for him. Excellent outside on snow and slippery surfaces. Also waterproof. Thank you Zappos for selling these and the fast shipping.

Purchased these for a new job with business casual attire. They are perfect. I wear them twice a week and after 6 months, they look hardly worn and are super comfortable. Great purchase.

Great shoes! I was actually a bit worried about the width, cause I read the reviews first and someone said it might be a bit narrow. I would say that I am way "a bit" above the average weight so my feet are with wider size than average, which commonly speak, it should be. But I didn't feel any squeezing or pressuring. Meanwhile the design looks cool combined with the color, I would recommend this product!

OK - For those of you who think these are "heavy" you should try living in a place where four inches of snow and 12 degrees Fahrenheit is considered a "mild" day. Are your boots heavy? Try these instead. Sturdy, waterproof, warm, and handsome, these shoes are awesome and allow you to not switch from boots to shoes to boots when going out in a snowy season. After looking around for a pair of daily shoes to replace my 14-year-old Sebago oxfords (may they rest in peace - my fetching wife made me get rid of them), I came upon these beauties. They are nearly the same as a pair of black Timberland oxfords I bought about four years ago, but with better tread. If you are looking for a shoe that is almost a boot, but can play in the office, this model is for you. Join the winter winners and buy the Timberland Squall Canyon Plain Toe Waterproof Oxford.

Bought these shoes for hubby after previous pair could not be repaired. They’d had a good run with at least six years of use. The style had changed a little with this pair, but still a great shoe. Opening of shoe was rubbing against ankle unlike previous pair that had lots of padding. Hubby inserted a pair of insoles and now manageable. Padding of previous pair would have been preferable.

Shoes are great fit. My husband wears a size 12 D and it was true to size. Good shoe for wet cold days. Looks good with jeans or slacks.

According to my husband, these shoes feel true to size and are very comfortable. The leather is soft and the bottom is nonslip. Perfect for everyday wear.

I bought a pair of these in 1997. I have had them resoled three times. Slogged through Chicago winters without a complaint, pounded the marble steps of the state capitol all day and still felt great at the end of the day. I've resoled them three times and will resole them a fourth if I live that long. This isn't a shoe for the East Coast or The South. But for the Midwest or West Coast it's rugged, practical, and handsomely scarred with time.
