A year ago I had foot surgery and it changed how my shoes fit. Additionally I now have nerve pain in one toe from the surgery. I bought these shoes because they were the closest thing I could find to New Balance Fuelcore WXAGLSM2, which were perfect on my new feet and which have apparently been discontinued. My foot is narrow, but now I need to wear a medium to stop any toe-rubbing. So the laces on the FuelCore NERGIZ help snug up the shoe, but they don't do the whole trick for me. I love the super light weight and overall, they feel good, but I wouldn't dare wear them without socks.

I would but these sneakers again but maybe in a smaller size. I order a 6.5 but they buckle on sides unless I wear thick short socks. If I try to wear them without socks or with thinner short socks, they tend to open looking like flaps, which I don't like. Despite that little disappointment I still find them very comfortable. I could not exchange them because I am traveling and really needed the sneakers and the comfort.

I think if I had bought a half size larger they would have been perfect. I bought thinner exercise socks and they are working out better.

I had hoped to wear the shoes around the house. ..

Extremely narrow shoe even in a wide width. My last pair did stretch out after a while so I'm going to keep them after they stretch they are comfortable.

Loved everything about the shoe, but due to my foot being wide at the ball of my foot, it ran over the side of the shoe too much and hurt, so I had to send them back. I have always had New Balance shoes, but this one wasn't quite wide enough unfortunately.

These shoes run very small but are comfortable once you have the right size. I have an old pair of New Balance in an 8.5. I ordered these in a 9 and still had to return them because they were too small. I ended up with a size ten. They do have laces but I don't feel like the laces serve a purpose or are needed. They are a nice slip on shoe for casual wear.

Size ran small had to order 1/2 size up. Still breaking in so not sure if the comfort is there for me yet. I'll let you know in a month or so.

Love these lightweight shoes, purchased for daily walks. Purchased normal shoe size, but these are a bit short. Other wearers say they stretch. Hope they are right.

I needed everyday-wear shoes that were casual but not hard-core athletic shoes. I hadn't seriously considered New Balance before because their products were focused on running shoes, etc. I found the NERGIZE shoes after my podiatrist recommended New Balance. I have hard to fit feet, with a high instep and forward- placed arch. I also need a wide toe box. I bought these in my usual size (9.5), and they were perfect. I have arthritic knees, and the support they gave helped me through long periods of walking.

I need this narrower width, and the price is right. This is a comfortable light weight shoe and easier to put on than tennis shoes. To me, it is not stylish. But at 74 years old, I feel comfort and price are more important.

size runs a bit small. Shoe .laces become undone readily. like the look and the lightweight. They are comfortable. Still new , I do not know how they wear.

The memory foam insole is great. Wish they didn't run so small had to go a whole size up

Disappointed that this shoe was not wide enough...I will be returning.....But,New Balance is the only shoe I buy, so I will look for another shoe !!!

They are so light and comfortable. I will be ordering again.

Never purchased sneakers online before so wasn't sure about the fit. First time I wore them I was so plessed. Fit well and were very comfortable.

They run small, I had to return my regular size 8 and get 8.5. Also they are a little bit on the wide side.

Like that it comes in wide width & is cut slightly lower at ankle

I would recommend going up half a size, otherwise the shoes are great.

Comfortable lightweight walking shoe with good arch support.

Initially was too tight at little toe but this did loosen up after about 10 days of wear and now is not a problem. I don't typically have this problem from other running type shoes. Length is a bit shorter than typical for stated size. I wore these every day on vacation. I wouldn't exercise in them - they really don't have enough support at all for that.

Great fit and avoids high arch soreness issues I have had with other shoes. Laces are long enough for me which has been another problem . And they look good too
