Was worried ordering these boots on here and spending all that money because I've heard some pretty bad and sketchy stuff about Zappos, but they were the only place I could order these in my size, so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised, the boots arrived in grear condition, everything authentic Vans, overall very happy with the purchase and I'll definitely consider buying from Zappos again. Good first experience.

These are very nice looking and warm, but hard to break in, being honest. I ordered one full size larger than my usual as recommended (converted into men’s sizing for me) and they fit snugly but roomy enough for a normal sock. The back of the heel is rubbing in one boot as I try to break them in. Overall I’m thinking they’re going to work out, so okay with the awkward break-in period.

I would describe this boot as light duty, which is not necessarily a negative. With step in bindings and these boots my carving no trick, no half pipe style will work fine.
