These are cute and comfortable! Definitely size down. I'm between a 6 and an 8. Ordered the 6 and there's room; there's stretch, so don't plan to wash them often to keep them more pliable. Boyfriend style and fit. Jean shorts seemingly never go out of style. Wish I'd kept a few pairs from a decade ago! Recommend these.

RUNS SO BIG!!! cute shorts, I started with 8, sized down to 6, and had to size down AGAIN to 4 (and there is NO way I am a size 4 in anything)--even the 4 is pretty loosey goosey but that is how I like them

I previously ordered the washed blue in 0 and kept them because they were perfect in the waist and just a little too tight in the thighs but still super comfortable. Well, I just got the light blue in the size 2 and these are perfect in the thighs and a little big in the waist (which will get bigger with wear) but I'm keeping these too because they're so comfy and cute and will give me vacation eating room, lol! And with a little belt or a tucked in shirt, the waist will be fine. I haven't found a comfortable pair of shorts in ages!

Great wash and super stretchy, definitely size down one size.

I love these shorts so much, I bought two pair. The shorts are very forgivable, very soft and yet have enough denim fabric to be the real deal. I love that the inseam is 6.5" and could be longer if the shorts were unrolled a bit. I really wish they made them in white and black, too.

Yes. Definitely size down. I had to return for a smaller size and there is still plenty of room. I wash/dry often as they do stretch out. Love them. Keep in mind the inseam is 6.5" when UNFOLDED. The first fold is sewn in on the side seam which can be easily remedied with a seam ripper. I'm back for a 2nd pair! Timeless!

I like the fit!! I have plenty of the tighter shorts. These gave more room around leg area and comfortable at times of just wanting to be comfortable. And still Very cute!

Super cute and comfortable shorts. I tried on a few others designer brands of boyfriend shorts and didn't like them as much as I like these by Jag Jeans. I wear a size 2 & 26 in jeans and these were perfect. Buy them before they sell out!

I LOVE these! They do run large, I didn’t heed the warning and bought my regular size. Kept them and will wear the heck out of them...but, I did find a smaller size (somewhere else, Zappos has been sailing out fast) and am still waiting for those to show up. But, am sure I will be equally happy with a smaller size, too:). Again, I LOVE these...so comfy!

I like these shorts, but the sizing is way off. They're bigger than you would expect. Definitely go by the size chart. They are relaxed fit, so if you like them tight, size down. One of the pairs I got didn't have tags. That may not bother some people, but I don't really like that.

I've been looking for denim shorts that aren't a skinny fit, and these are great in that regard. I definitely agree with sizing down--they run big and stretch. I even tried them 2 sizes down, and while those fit, they were tighter on the legs, which isn't what I wanted. I love the length, as well. I've since bought a second pair, and hopefully they'll wash up well.

Really cute. Ran big, kept the 4. Longer than I prefer and real wanted w/o cuffs. May have the cut and hem.

These have tapered legs so if you have any size to your thighs (in other words, I just barely lack a thigh gap at 5'1" 114lb), then these are tight in the thighs, accenting any thigh flaws. I now refer to them as my "sausage leg shorts". Having said that, they are also ideal for people who are tiny in the waist and bigger in the hips. They are extremely comfortable and nicely contouring in that respect! I'm wearing them to stretch them out in the thighs and hoping some sun/tanning cream will take the edge off because I love them otherwise. Great styling and comfortable.
