This is a great coat! Its very slimming and even though the jacket is quite thin, its very warm due to the thermal material inside. Its the perfect fall and light winter coat. I would absolutely size up to ensure its not too snug, especially if you plan to wear a sweatshirt or thick sweater underneath. It would be nice if this jacket had a detachable hood, but I at least they make this coat with and without a hood, so you can pick your preference. All in all, great jacket and would buy again.

I love the jacket. Lightweight and water resistant It is a slim fit so if you want to wear over bulky clothes you should size up. HOWEVER the shipping from Columbia was extremely slow. If you want it quickly order early or from a different retailer

Fits true to size. It’s like having a built in heater. Love the jacket. It went on sale after I bought it. I called and spoke with a representative who was probably the nicest person I’ve ever dealt with in a customer service environment. I wish I could remember his name. A great experience with Zappos.

This jacket is fablous! I love the color, the warmth, style and feel of it. I have worn it daily since I got it and it is my new favorite jacket. Super warm and comfortable.

Love the slim fit of this jacket. I have the longer one that comes to mid thigh and wanted a shorter one. I don't use the thumb holes, but I like that they are there because it makes the wrist tight to keep out cold. It's warm and keeps out wind, been wearing in upper 20's and low 30's just fine. Only thing, I don't think you can wear bulky sweaters/ sweatshirts under it comfortably, I did however wear a puffer vest under it just fine.

This jacket is perfect for fall, spring or CA winter. It’s not quite the warmth of down I need for New England or MidWest winters but it’s perfect weight and warmth for spring/fall and for when I spend winters in CA.

I love the color and fit of this Colombia coat. It is a change from black, but not too bright. It is a slim fit, which I love, but if you want a little more room you may want to go up a size.

I've owned this jacket for about a year now and it still looks new. It is extremely comfortable, like your favorite sweater comfortable. It's warm, fits well, and doesn't make you look like a puff ball, but still has room to layer. Temperatures Warn: 0F to 60F This jacket is amazingly warm for cold weather with limited layering, but breathable enough for warmer days.

First jacket ordered had a stitching flaw on the sleeve, perfect fit though. Exchanged for another jacket, same color and size (XS); this jacket the sleeves and armpit area were too tight to wear. Tried another exchange, same color and size (XS); same problem sleeves and armpit area too tight. Noticed first jacket was made in China, and two exchanges made in Bangladesh. Returned for refund. Cute jacket if the sleeves weren't so tight. Good luck!

very warm, yet lightweight. Nice high collar, can replace a scarf.

Love! And WARM! Perfect everyday coat. I'm in between sizes and went up and glad I did. Perfect for Maryland winters. It's long enough in the back too for my liking

Oh dear, too small! I sent it back immediately. I always wear a medium, but could hardly get my arms in. It was pretty, but no way.

Very happy with this jacket, it's light but really keeps you warm. Only drawback for me is the part that goes over your hands, it's a bit bulky if you don't have it on and makes it hard to wear gloves.

I have a hard time making decisions, but I made the right choice picking this jacket ! It's true to size I am 5'3 and 150 lbs I ordered a large , it fits perfect ! The jacket is light and not bulky ! I live in Florida and it has been cold here ! The jacket is perfect for the weather we have been having 30 , 40 , 50 even 60 degrees ! I recommend this jacket ! I made the right choice ! I just wish it came in white , but I got the cream !

I really really wanted to like this coat, everything was great EXCEPT the collar, i hate the stand up collar, it is uncomfortable it touches my lips, and i wear lipstick (when i don't have my freaking mask on) so i would for sure get lipstick on it. I had northface coats for 10 years and never had collars like this. It seems like every coat now is like this.

I love my coat, at first I was a little nervous. Because I dress in layers, but this coat there is no need to do so. It is very well insulated & keep you very warm! Glad that I bought two at the same time.

The coat is very pleasing in appearance and warm. The omni heat lining makes it very warm despite being very lightweight. I can even wear it with only a short sleeve shirt underneath it, because it is so warm and because the lining keeps the inside of the coat from feeling cold on the places it contacts my bare skin. I live in Colorado and have done this with weather in the 30sF. The neck and pocket linings are snuggly and comfortable. The length keeps my lower hips and almost all of my bottom really warm.The security pocket is big enough to be very useful. The only thing I am not totally pleased with is the fit. Women are told to order coats based on chest/bust size, so I ordered a large. It is still a bit snug in the chest with a sweater. But the waist is very big and the hips are somewhat big, even if I wear I thickish sweater. That sometimes allows cold air to enter from the bottom of the coat. I have a similar large Columbia jacket from 5 years ago and it had this shape problem as well, but not as pronounced as this coat. If these dimensions are based on an expectation of what most women's bodies are like, I would ask Columbia to consider that in the regular size range of S/M/L ,despite our shape differences, most women still go in at the waist. (I am 5'7" and weigh 140 lbs and ordered a large if that helps anyone.) I did still give the coat 5 stars because of all the wonderful features I mentioned above.

Great purchase. I bought this jacket for cold winter days in Wisconsin, when I wear bulky layers. I sized up because of that. It's absolutely perfect and warm. I so happy with this jacket.

This is a wonderful jacket. I bought it for my granddaughter but it's an XS and I need a L. I have the longer version of this jacket and I love it. It is light weight and very warm. I live in northern Wisconsin with sub-zero temperatures, and I stayed comfortably warm. I would highly recommend to anyone and would buy again and again

Love this coat. I have it in several colors but the last one I ordered in red was made differently. Cost ran much smaller and thumb keyholes were not as comfortable as previous ones I have. Still a great coat just isn't fitting the same as ones I got in previous years.

Perfect weight and length! The color blue was a little lighter than the picture but still really pretty.

I’ve had this coat over 2 wInters and it’s been great. Warm and easy to move in. In fact I just ordered another one for my teen.

I liked this coat a lot but I have a problem with the Columbia coats- mediums feel a tad too tight, larges feel too big and don't give me a nice trim look. The color of the bone one is true ivory. The quality and length were both good, the back of the coat dips down a bit to mostly cover your bum. This is a great little puffer with the Columbia warmth technology.
