The best jacket I've ever owned. Stylish, great fit and super warm. I highly recommend this jacket!! I'm 6'2, average build and medium fits perfectly.

To provide a little backstory, I was looking for a jacket to wear to an Eagles game and to also have for the PA winters. I have three lighter jackets that are all Columbia's and had no issues with them, so I stuck with the brand. I was looking on the website and saw this jacket was on sale. The look of it grabbed my attention right away (the dark gray). It has this snowboarder-formal-causal-everyday look that I was really into. The features made it even better. This jacket has tons of pockets that are deep and functional. You can fit hats, gloves, wallet, phone, etc. in any of the front chest pockets, as well as the two hand pockets. Even with items in these pockets you don't feel bulky. The buttons on the pockets (as well as the ones that go over the zipper) are really easy to snap and yet keep items secure. Another feature is the sherpa interior. This jacket is seriously warm. I have a denim jacket with this material and really like the feel and warmth of it, and this Columbia jacket is the exact same way. If you are looking for an everyday jacket for work, or something to use for outdoor activities this jacket is ideal. Something to keep in mind about size, I am 6'1" and weigh 200 pounds and am in good shape. To give an idea for sizing, if you wear Nike hoodies, size down for this jacket. I wear Nike hoodies XL and for this jacket got a Large. The sleeve are a little longer, but it's not an annoying long, if anything it makes it better for when using gloves.

This coat has already kept me very warm when temperatures fell into the twenties with my only other layer being a plain white t-shirt. I'm always layering so I can only imaging how much warmer it would be with a lighter jacket on underneath if needed. I couldn't be happier with the quality, as it feels like a heavy jacket yet is not restrictive. The sizing gives you a little wiggle room which is what you want. The spacing allows for an extra layer or two without feeling stuffed. I'll be excited to see how it performs in snowing/freezing rain conditions, but I can't imagine it performing any less then perfect.

Bought this for my son and he is THRILLED and loves it. Blocks the wind and rain and keeps him warm. He can't wait to go skiing in it!

This is a very comfy jacket. Not to heavy and plenty of pockets. I will enjoy it for years to come

Never in my life have I owned a warmer coat than this. The comfort level of this is out of this world, really fits true to size. Fit and finish are just flawless. I haven't owned a really heavy coat in quite sometime due to living in the Midwest,( originally from Wisconsin.) I was skeptical on making this purchase but am so thankful I did. This is the type of gear you get and it makes you want to spend some real quality time in freezing cold weather. Keep up the good work guys.

I wanted a waterproof jacket to wear on a cruise this spring. This jacket is a great fit and serves exactly this purpose. It can be closed up very tightly to block wind and rain. Its also fairly warm, with good insulation so you may not need a layer underneath. Its a little bulky but nothing to awkward, easy to move arms around. Overall, a good value for a quality product.

Jacket has a nice feel while its on. The sherpa lining is only on the top half ( as described ) does not run thru the arms. Fairly warm. Its been a gentle winter here, but on colder days another coat's needed. Hard to layer with this one. I cant get a sweater under it. Very thin hoodies, but nothing that'd help keep me warm. The fits tight, sits on waist. There are a couple drawstrings by the waist to tighten/loosen. If your a tight fit maybe go up a size. This will be perfect when i shed a little weight in the spring and fall seasons.

This is a nice jacket, but I thought it would feel warmer in the 25 degree and windy range. Layering is required. I also find it more water resistant than waterproof. Better for hiking than commuting in the cold.

Was hard to tell from online, but this is a heavy coat that fits well and has a very warm lining and hood. The coat is pretty bulky and the zipper start is a bit difficult. For SC weather, this is a warm and heavy choice, but I am very happy with it. Great quality and look in the black IMO.

This is a great jacket! Many complements immediately after i received it! I did think the jacket would be just a little bit heavier as i wanted something that would withstand the bitter chicago cold, but it serves its purpose and is a great fit!

During the days while it was around -5 C it worked well while moving. It worked well even in rain and sleet. Sadly only after 2 weeks seam under my underarm came apart. Took it back to the shop I bought it

Looking for a new winter jacket?? Look no further!! I fully recommend this jacket for its fit, comfort, and warmth. I don't usually buy shoes or jackets on-line because I need to try them on but I took a chance and am glad I did. Won't be shopping for another jacket for years to come.

Nice fit but not happy zipper. It separates if you don't get it exactly started.
