I tried the Miss Metro Parka II, the Metropolis Parka II, and the Gotham Parka II, and this was my favorite. The fabric is a matte black, which I like, and the TNF logo is very subtle. It has a covered zipper with snaps, so you have an option to close it without the zipper. This was also a bit heavier than the other coats, and it seemed like it would be warmer. I did not try them outside because all the coats ran a bit small for me. I am fairly slim (5'5" and 120 lb) and I can wear a small, but I think I would prefer a medium for the times I have a heavier layer underneath. I took off a star for style because the snaps attaching the hood were shiny metal and too visible.

This is a comfy coat -- but definitely made me feel like I was in a sleeping bag! Warm, I'm sure. But no contour to my body. Also, the sizes varied -- I ordered a small in the gray and a small in the black to compare. The black was too tight, the gray was too big!

I bought in medium. I am 5'4" 128. Large bust and small hips. Fit was good. Plenty of room for my top without being too big on the bottom (often a problem for my body type). Very warm and comfortable. I took off a star for style as I felt it could have been a bit more shaped. The hood can be adjusted to fit snugly around the face.

Love this jacket! I love the length and the way it fits. It’s very warm.

We ordered the North Face Gotham Parka II first and it was definitely a "no go". We saw the Miss Metro II in a local store and ordered it from Zappos. Very convenient purchase, knowing we could return it easily if we wanted to. It turns out to be a perfect fit and a perfect style. Incredibly, it arrived the day after we ordered it. It is not going back to Zappos.

Very, very warm. Lightweight and not balky. As always, Zappos is great.
