Definitely felt warm, had a good weight to it. Like other reviewers have said, the gray turns purple in sunlight (not a desired look). Sized okay. The pockets felt a little cold (no insulation between the hand and the outside of the jacket. But mainly the issue was the fabric just screamed "i'm going to pick up every piece of lint and every stray cat hair in your home!" in a way that would drive me batty.

It's a heavy and sturdy coat. Very warm!

Love everything about this jacket! Got a large for added space for sweatshirts in cold weather

Purchased to replace my old North Face coat, it looks identical but the material "catches" a lot more dog hair then my previous coat. However, it did keep me warm through Michigan winter.

Waterproof and lightweight

Cozy coat, good zipper, good length. The hood is a little big and flappy but it's rain-repellent. I thought I would miss having a furry hood lining but I don't.

I like this jacket. I got it a size bigger a large and if it's a little baggie but it looks really good. I am 5'8 170 pounds and I feel like a large is a good size on me. Sleeves are also a good length they're not too short. Very warm.

Incredibly warm I love this jacket !!

Winter lasts a long time where we live, and I am thrilled with my North Face Parka. It fits perfectly and keeps me warm on windy days working outside, yet I don't feel overheated traveling in my car.

I live in a colder winter climate so needed a warm jacket. This jacket is warm and good looking. The hood stays on your head which is a plus! I love the color of the coat and the faux fur accents the coat nicely. I also have a grey jacket like this one. I just hope I don't have the same problem with the zipper.

Way overpriced and thin. Not as fluffy as I want it to be, maybe the men's version is thicker?

This jacket's material is too stiff around the neck because of the waterproof treatment, plus the black that I ordered is kind of matte finish and it not a pretty color. I has returned this jacket.

Disappointed in the quality of this product. They used Velcro instead of snaps for the closures. Hood is not removable nor can is be rolled up and tucked away. The jacket has a still almost brown paper bag feel to it.

Love the coat it's so soft and warm and long

This is my 3rd North Face Parka and I absolutely love it. I wish they had it in a black black. The TNF black is a tad lighter. But the coat overall does the job keeps me warm from the Windy City.

I was going to Europe during winter & had qualms buying this due to the price...but all my friends kept telling me to "layer up" but also be prepared to "strip down" indoors since they keep the shops hot...so I opted to keep my usual wardrobe & just buy this coat. It was perfect - rain, snow, morning, night. Kept me warm and dry, definitely beyond worth the price!

Perfect for cold/rainy/snowy eather.

I wasn't sure that I "needed" needed this coat, but I'm so happy with it. I was looking for a coat that could go on hikes and be fitted enough to wear everyday. It takes on cold Wisconsin winters and looks great. And, of course, made with the North Face quality you expect. (And the hood zips off!)
