Comfortable and warm without the bulkiness.

Im actually disappointed in this jacket. From all the reviews, I expected it to be warm. It was a simple 25 F degrees out and I still felt cold. I don't like the velcro on the front of the jacket as it gets caught on sweaters and gloves. The texture of the jacket looks like it will get dirty easily. Will try again with a different jacket. So disappointed:(

This is perfect for every day wear. I wish the back didn't stick out so much, but if I sized down the sleeves wouldn't be long enough. Other than that, I think it's great! I've had my eye on it for awhile so I'm glad I finally purchased it.

Absolutely love this coat! I tried the medium and the small, and went with the small as it runs a bit larger than some of my other North Face jackets. The brown color is so beautiful and I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. I like that it is functional and so warm, but still incredibly stylish. Definitely recommend.

LOVE this jacket. It's warm. Adjusts at the waist for a more fitted look. The wrists also adjust. It's cute. I knocked off one star because I thought it came with a hood.

Best winter jacket ever had

Goose feather already coming out and I've not had for long. Keeping an eye on it as this is unusual for Northface for the feathers to be coming out so quickly and I've not had this for that long. I had another jacket, similar to this style that didn't have the hood attached and never had any feathers coming out till years later. What's going on here? Why am I already seeing feathers coming out? Thankfully it was just 1 but you charge a lot for these jackets and are normally good quality so I don't mind paying that amount but shouldn't be shedding feathers less than 1 month of having it.

I purchased this for my 13-year-old daughter and she is absolutely in love with it! It fits perfectly and it looks so stylish on her. We both love the hidden hood and how easy it is to take out and hide again. She stays very warm in this jacket, and we're in Minnesota.

I got the bright teal color, and I love it! I wear it over long-sleeved t-shirts and always pair with a nice pair of boots. Looks gorgeous and keeps me super warm even when it's freezing/windy outside.

Very nice jacket, keeps me very warm in NYC winter weather. Also stylish lol! I suggest going a size up if you like wearing hoodies under your jackets.

I wore this coat indoors when my power was out for 47 hours and I stayed comfortably warm. It was in the 30's outside and fridgid due to the high winds. This coat literally saved my life. I will never part with it!

So so warm! I could wear a T-shirt under this coat in 30 degree weather and still be warm. It is also stylish with the fur trim on the hood. I recommend this coat to all my friends in NYC!

This is a great coat if you spend a lot of time outdoors. I live in the North East and late fall to early spring can be brutally cold if spending time outdoors for any length of time -(kids sporting events). It is wind proof, which is exactly what I was looking for. It helps keep you warmer. I purchased a large because I like my coats roomier if it is not a dress coat. It has elastic which helps cinch the waist in the back, so it doesn't look like a sac. The shoulders are a bigger than desired, but small price to pay for a roomy warm/windproof coat. I gave it only 4 stars because of the velcro closure. The tab flap that covers the zippers has velcro tabs all the way down- which I find annoying- they get caught on clothing. The coat unzips from the bottom as well- which makes it easier to sit down- but then the velcro tabs are exposed - again I only took one star away for that because it's a small price to pay for such a quality coat. Overall- I'm so happy I purchased it. If you want a warm coat that blocks the wind and looks good- this is it.

Warm, sleek, and flattering.

So warm and not too puffy. I would size up if you're wearing sweaters constantly under it.

Love the style and the way this fit? Only downfall is the Velcro isn't as strong as I would have hoped if not using the zipper option but overall love this coat and would give it a 8/10 in warmth!

I would definitely buy from The North Face.It looks great and is warm and comfortable. My daughter noticed I had a new coat right away and complimented me on how great it looks on me.
