I have two of these and just love them. They are lightweight and yet cozy to wear. Durable and washable

Very comfortable, light-weight with the desired level of warmth, packable for travel. I like the 3 zippered pockets.

Provides a decent amount of warmth while stationary and doesn't overheat while traveling with or without a backpack. Not bulky, so packs well. Size Large fits me well, although the arms are a little narrow for my normal to slim arms - more noticeable with a long-sleeved shirt underneath. An XL would be too big. Great for layering: base layer + Marmot Reactor + synthetic down vest + water/wind resistant shell. I've been searching a while for the features available in this jacket, I especially like the chest pocket being large enough for my cell phone in its case. Nice to have zippered hand warmer pockets.

Perfect for those fall days. Great for an everyday jacket.

This is not meant to be a stylish product but an extremely useful one for actual backpacking. I never take another insulation layer in my ultra-light pack on top of my wool and down but I am taking this one from now on. This is so warm and so light I prefer to wear it while sleeping instead of my down. I just keep the down for emergency temperature dips and use it as a pillow now. The only problem and it is a big one is the the fabric is so fragile that the seams are ripping out. The fabric though is what makes it so great at insulating and so light. I am hoping Marmot will replace it.

I was looking for a mid-to-light weight breathable fleece mid layer to wear under a shell for skiing. The Reactor seems to be a good product. Just the right weight, perfect pocket configuration (2 hand plus a chest). Fatal flaw for me was the sleeve length. Sleeves were too short, and rode up when reaching. FYI, I am 6 ft, 4 in tall, 175 lbs with long arms. The large was a good fit, except for the sleeve length issue.

Cut is way too tight for me, particularly the sleeves. They are tiny!
