I wear size 8, got these in a 7, fit great. Too heavy though.

Order at least one size down, I ordered a 9 (usual size is 9.5) and ended up exchanging them for an 8. Once you break them in they’re super comfy, just takes a few wears.

I am a size 9 and had to size down to an 8 in these! They are super cute, but a bit heavy due to the chunky heel. Also, not great if you have thicker ankles - they are tight!

I wanted to love these but they were super difficult to pull on without inciting a foot cramp. I have narrow feet and ankles so I'm not sure how others are getting these on.

I had a little rubbing on the ankle. I loved the way they looked on I apparently bought a size too big though

Really cute shoes. They run quite big on me. I’m an 8 in every other brand. Ordered a 7 first after reading reviews about sizing down. It was just too small for me. Traded in for an 8 and it’s definitely too big but seems to fit well with an added insole. Ordered a doc marten insole and am hoping this will make it perfect. Otherwise, they look absolutely beautiful!

Love the way the boot looks. Overall they are a bit heavy to walk in and stiff around the ankles. I’m hoping they will break in and get softer over time.

Fit large you have to buy one size smaller

I’m having to wear a lot of socks bc they run so large, but I love them!

This boot is cool. Like others, I found them a bit large, but this worked for me; the insole is not removable, so I was able to fit my Spenco insole inside over the existing one. The one thing I dislike about the boots is the height of the shaft. It squeezes just above the ankle area a good bit. I’m a medium-sized gal with medium weight legs, and these were tight there, but I’m hoping that will stretch some. It would so awesome to have this exact boot in a true BELOW the ankle style!

These boots are almost great - they're comfortable with great soles. The ankle opening is so teeny tiny and cut into my flesh to the point that it looks weird and feels worse. If you have super skinny ankles that look awkward in normal chelsea boots, these are for you!

I love the Dr Martens I have that are platform lace up so much that I wanted another style. However these are super hard to get on and not as practical as I was thinking. Note that it’s hard to get your foot in the opening but once your feet are in they fit great! I would say you should wear thicker socks with these shoes because there is extra room with thin socks. I’m usually a 9.5 in all shoes but I always get a 9 in Dr Martens and there is extra room. I don’t LOVE them and feel like I’ll still grab for the lace ups more often but I’m hoping over time I’ll learn to love these just as much. The style is very in and goes with everything- the only challenge is getting them on!

Super tight in the ankle and my foot was flopping around on the inside of the shoe. This was my 3rd pair of Docs and sadly I'll be returning them since the sizing is so off from the other two :/

I really wanted to love these, the look and style is perfect but sadly i had to return them. they are SO HEAVY. at almost 2 pounds per shoe I couldn't handle the weight after walking around the house for just 30 minutes. Wish they could remake these but somehow make them the same weight as regular docs.

My sister has a pair and I'm OBSESSED so I decided to order a pair of my own and got the last ones available in my size but I was really disappointed because there was a flaw in the boot. There was a rock or something similar stuck in the sole of the boot that I felt every time I took a step. Since the insoles aren't removable I had to return :(

DON’T SUPPORT THIS COMPANY! My card was charged and I received two confirmations for my order and when the order hadn’t shown up on the expected delivery date, I called and the customer service representative looked into the order said they had sold out of my size and will issue a refund. What?!?! She had no explanation, just a sorry. Certainly not her fault, I’m just extremely dissatisfied with this company and their service.

Zappos, customer service — always great. Dr. Martins — poor quality, so I am returning. The seams are coming undone! My daughter has the same style from 6 years ago and those are still in good shape. So disappointed in Dr. Martin quality.
