Beautiful, warm coat. Too tight in the upper arm/chest area for me (and I am small chested), so I am returning.

I am 5'4-1/2", 115 pounds and ordered a size 4. It was huge on me, and I decided to return it. It needs to be a bit shorter with a trimmer fit to look right on me. It was very disappointing, because it looks great on the model.

I love everything about this coat! Here are a few - lots of pockets, deep hood, nice easy pull zipper, attached glasses cleaner. True to size. Love it 100%!!

I love everything about this coat. For starters, very rarely will you find outerwear that has inside pockets on both sides, and this one does. The extra pockets on the outer portion of the coat, another plus. What i loved most of all, is the "Zipper" easy glide through & through. A pleasure for sure. Lastly the feel of the coat, the best. Very warm and so soft to the touch. I am so happy with this purchase and I wish to thank the designer who seemed to have thought of it all. Thank you.

Extremely well-made parka -- it didn't fit my needs this time (sizing & color) so I am returning, but will be back for more Obermeyer in the future. Better sewn than most of the other brands I tried (Columbia, Merrell, tc), on par with patagonia. I found the fit to be true to size so sizing up (I'm a 10/12, ordered 14) made it a bit too big for me, so will order my actual size next time. It's cut to flatter the waist more than most parkas of this type. The green is a pretty lighter army green, more olive than sage. The hood is roomy and the fur snaps are really quality and tight, you won't have trouble whether you want to keep the fur on or off. The down padding is warm, the lining tight, the outer fabric smooth and not rubbery. The sole thing I don't like is the round black Obermeyer brand badge on the side of the sleeve -- of course you could remove this if really desired. If you're looking at one-piece waterproof parkas this winter and are on the edge deciding, grab it now and check it out!

I bought this jacket a few years ago and it was one of the best investments I've ever made. It is super warm and durable, washes like a dream. I hope it lasts forever!

I relied on the reviews to make my decision and I hope my review will help others as well. The model that is wearing the coat was a little concerning for me because I have long arms and did not want the coat to fit me like the model. I chose to go one size up and was very pleased with the fit and the sleeve length was perfect! The fabric was very nice and soft to the touch. Very warm coat for Wisconsin winters!

I usually wear a size 8 or Medium in coats, as I am 5 ft 2 in and weigh 122, but the size 8 was too droopy on me. I returned it for the size 6 and it fits like a dream. Having said that, there is no room for a thick or bulky sweater. That seems good though because the coat is very warm and the form fitting style is attractive. The coat is heavy to pick up too. The quality and features of this coat are really impressive. The coat does cost a lot, so I hope it will last me for years -- I splurged because I really like the style. I got the coat in black. Great quality.

Perfect winter coat. Warm and roomy enough to wear a thick sweater underneath. I'm 5'5'' and 115 pounds with athletic build. Size 2 fit perfectly.

I am in love with this coat. Based on some reviews, I ordered two sizes (2&4) so I could try the size up. I am keeping my true size. The larger size made it look like I was shapeless. This is a heavy coat. I live in NC and would say this coat is overkill for this area, but I run cold, so it's perfect for me. I like that the hood is adjustable, that there are two sets of pockets, a hidden pocket, a zipper that goes up or down, and that the waist is adjustable to give you a little shape. My favorite parts are that the color is lined with a supersoft material so it won't scratch, and that the sleeves have stretchy cuffs inside so cold air doesn't go up the sleeves. Absolutely worth paying full price for this coat.

I wanted to love this jacket - the material was soft, it felt like it would be warm and cozy & the gray color was attractive. I ordered size 6, which fit fine, but the sleeves came down to the end of my fingers & the length, which appeared to be mid-thigh in the photos, came down to my knees. I know the size 4 would be too tight for layering & I doubt that the sleeves and length would be any different. Otherwise, it had great features- sadly, I had to return it.

I love this coat! It was everything I was looking for but it is a little too warm for what I need now. Sadly, I have to send it back.

This is a beautifully made coat with lots of thoughtful pocket details. The interior pocket even includes a glass cleaning cloth on a clip and lanyard. I am 5”4” and 135 lbs, with a pear shape. I usually require a petite, but this size 8 coat fits me just fine. I can comfortably wear a sweater layer. The interior toggle cinch is figure flattering and the coat isn’t overly puffy on my petite frame. I like that this coat has a smooth (non-channel stitched) exterior. It has much sleeker look than most down coats. The length on me is above knee, so it gives terrific coverage for sitting. The quality faux fur around the hood looked much better, after a quick dryer tumble. Will enjoy wearing this for many MT winters.

The quality of this coat is superb, but I needed a 0P, which sadly, they don't make.

This is a beautiful jacket! But, the shoulders and upper sleeves are cut too narrow for me. I normally wear a x-small-small. I have sized up from a 2-4, and its too snug with a down sweater underneath, which is needed in the dead of a Maine winter. If you are narrow through the shoulders, this is a jacket to buy!

This is a very warm winter jacket. I like this one because it was soft fabric on the cuffs to keep the wind out of your sleeves, a soft touch on the collar, a removable fur and hood, snaps and a zipper, a vent on the butt for comfort when sitting, and plenty of pockets. Advice: do not use the size chart- just buy your size. My hips are the biggest part of my body and currently measure 42" so I ordered the 12 when my normal size is an 8. It was huge and I returned for an 8 and it was a perfect fit. But Zappos is the best company on the internet and makes returns a breeze so go ahead, order both and pick the best one for you.

Love the color (wine not). Very comfortable jacket and looks great on, just like the picture. The soft collar is wonderful and very happy with the side pocket zippers. Warm and did not seem to bulky.

I love this jacket so much, I got it in 3 colors. Unreasonable! But it’s warm. I like that the outside fabric is not puffer jacket material which snags. This is like bullet proof. It covers my butt. It’s slimming. The faux fur trim matches my hair. I wish it would just stay cold so I could wear it all the time.

Love the wine color and it was comfortable, especially the neckline. Unfortunately, it was too big and I waited quite awhile for it. Not sure if I will order a smaller size and pack it up until next year or see what comes out new.

Love this coat! Kept me warm even in negative temperatures. The fit is slim so you don't feel bulky walking around. The red color is beautiful.

Fantastic winter coat! Not only is it stylish, but its warm and the fit is so flattering. I have finally found the perfect winter coat for me and will definitely be a return shopper for this brand!
