I was expecting to have to break these in like other Docs, they were so comfortable right out of the box! They are way cuter in person. Buy them!

Absolutely love these boots. I actually bought them for "work" boots, but they are just too cute to get dirty right away. When I'm ready though, they feel like they will do just fine. They are very sturdy. I was worried that the "hard plastic" sole was going to be slippery, they are not. True to size, although, I wish they came in 1/2 sizes. I wear a size 7 1/2 so I had to buy an 8. Instead of enjoying the warm fuzzy, I had to put an insole in to take up the slack.

Always loved Doc Martins. Sometimes have difficulty finding the right size/fit. These were perfect out of the box! Only wish is that the top 2 sets of shoelace holes were actually hooks instead of holes to easier lace/unlace.

I love these. I just moved from a warm dry climate to a cool wet one and I needed something that would keep my feet warm and look great. These are perfect. I am 57 and so they felt like a bit of a fashion risk to me which I loved even more. On their first outing, I paired them with black leggings and a net grey skirt and felt amazing. They will also do hikes with the dogs if necessary. The tread on the bottom will be very steady on slick surfaces. I have very high arches and these are just OK, not quite moderate to my mind. I got a half size bigger than usual for big socks but since you can tie the ankle part however tight you like, it works with skinny socks too.

Love these boots! They are super comfortable right out of the box, and the ability to turn down the top is like getting two different boots in one! Fit is true to size, and so far, they’re good on snow and ice.

I think I'm in love. I didn't know I needed new winter boots until I got these. Fit is TTS (and I've had issues with other Docs before), and they keep my feet toasty. Also, the sole, can we talk about the sole? I always slip in the winter and we just had a nasty icy storm and these guys were champs. So happy I got these boots.

These boots are warm, comfortable and water-resistant. I bought my normal size. They were slightly larger than that, but since I wear thicker socks with them for warmth, they ended up fitting well. They look great with jeans and I can wear them all day without any issues!

These are honestly my first pair of Doc Martens and I really like them. They seem to be made of good quality materials. These are stylish and comfy and I can’t wait to wear them into the winter months!

I ordered these for my daughter who will get to try them out in a Midwestern winter. She thinks they feel comfortable and hopefully she still think that after she gets to walk for longer distances in the snow.: )

I love these shoes!! Worth it buying it..

I used to wear Doc Marten’s way back in the day - but hadn’t owned a pair for years. But I saw these here on Zappos and loved them, so decided to order and give them a try. They fit perfectly. I have a wide foot and they feel great. They’re made well and look fantastic. And it’s almost like two boots in one, because you can wear them with the top folded down to expose the fur lining, or you can wear the top up and tie the laces around. Either way - adorable!! Easy to get on and super comfortable to wear. And they’re waterproof. Score!!

I typically wear a true 8 in Doc Martens. I got these in a size 9, as it was the only available size, and figured I could just resell them and order the correct size once they restocked the 8s. The 9s are a full size smaller: they are not a 9, rather are an 8. I am not sure if it is because of the "fur" taking up more room, but I would highly suggest sizing up. They are decently comfortable, I do not feel like I will have to really break them in to comfortably walk around. they are quite warm. the only thing I dislike is the outside material that is the dark brownish/redish color easily scratches. my boots came with some scuffs and scratches on them right out of the box. Overall good shoe, just size up.

Not 100% certain I'm going to keep these boots as they're so heavy and remind me of steel toe shoes. On the plus side, the color of the leather is rich and the interior lining is very soft. The shoes are extremely comfortable and will definitely keep my feet warm if I have to be outside for any length of time once the temperature drops and the ground starts to freeze. Zappos shipping is quick and their return policy is exceptional. Their prices are great, too.
