when I first took it out of the box I was afraid it was too lightweight . But it is definitely warmer than it looks!

I usually wear mediums but I had to get a small in this jacket to get the right fit. It's super comfy and very versatile. I only owned a long puffer before this jacket and I couldn't be happier with me purchase! Definitely worth the money!

Perfect lightweight jacket with style - I wear this to pretty much everywhere - to go to work, to go to gym, to walk with my dogs, etc. Got bright navy - it is much more purple, which I love - most of my outfits are black/navy/gray so this jacket color goes them very well. Very distinctive, sharp "The North Face" color. Curvy on each side, and enough room for each sleeve so that you can still wear thick sweater / hoodie etc.

I LOVE MY NEW THERMOBALL COAT. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL COLOR, VERY STYLISH AND LIGHTWEIGHT. IT IS BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COAT.

Ordered 2 sizes but sent small back due to zipper defect so not sure if I could wear that size . Medium is a little big but fits well with a sweater or layering

Really enjoying this nice lightweight jacket. Perfect for spring weather. Nice enough to wear with work clothing, but casual enough to wear hiking. I am already getting a lot of use out of it.

Perfect jacket for between-seasons. Lightweight, comfortable, and the Harbor Blue color is beautiful. I bought the small (I'm 5'3 and 114 lbs), and it feels a little roomier than expected. Next time I'll buy the XS.

Love this coat! I wear it everywhere. Very comfortable and lightweight. It is not wind proof - you will need extra layers during windy cold days. I would definitely buy again.

I absolutely LOVE my new North Face Insulated Thermoball Jacket! The "Brit Blue" color is stunning (especially with the black lining), and the slim fit works well for me. I've received a lot of compliments on it. I've been wearing my jacket around town and for hiking. I've used it both solo and underneath a rain jacket (as a midlayer) for added warmth. The Thermoball insulation keeps me "nice and toasty warm". I tend to be cold, so the extra warmth is very important to me. The insulation mimics down, and provides the same warmth as a 600-fill down jacket. The rip-stop nylon shell is both sturdy and attractive, and the jacket is easy to care for. The Thermoball insulation provides moisture protection. I like my jacket so much that I bought a second one (just like it) to keep in reserve! I purchase gear from The North Face because their products have always served me exceptionally well since I bought my first North Face jacket in 1979. I trust the quality and dependability of North Face products. The lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product can't be beat! Love it will purchase more for myself. Purchased for grandchildren, daughter in law and my husband for Christmas. Purchased one for a friends daughter birthday... love this coat!

I wear this on a daily basis as I do not like a big bulky coat. This is perfect for me - I will buy another one in a different color!

Lightweight. Can wear fall, winter and spring.

This jacket is very comfortable and light weight! It is perfect for those 50 degree days when you still need a jacket, but not a heavy winter jacket. It's not bulky, and is perfect for travelling as well.

I use my jacket all the time - for hiking, for walking my neighborhood and for cross country skiing.

I was worried the coat wouldn't be warm, thinking it was more of a spring jacket. No it definitely is for the winter cold weather. I love it.

I went back and forth with what size to get, the "fit finder" kept saying I needed a M and the model that is shown wearing the jacket had measurements almost identical to me and was wearing a M and it fit her, however, I found a size chart for North Face and my measurements clearly state I fit in the S category. The size charts are almost always right on for me so I ordered the S and it fits PERFECTLY!! Love it!

Nice lightweight insulated jacket that can be layered. Not too puffy or bulky.

I honestly still have my NF ski jacket from 1995, and it is in great condition. Didn't actually need a new jacket but bought this thermoball to have a more packable winter alternative. I still have my NF Wasatch backpack from 1998 too, going strong! Highest quality products. I will always buy from you guys. Nice to have this warm down alternative in the cold Wisconsin Winter. Happy customer!

I was looking for a warm but compact jacket that could fit into my backpack during air travel. Bulky jackets are hard to fit under the seat neatly without spilling into the aisle and overhead bin space is limited due to luggage. This jacket was a great compromise.
