This coat is the perfect weight for a Virginia winter!

We went to grand canyon and it was cold and windy. This jacket was great as it held up to the winds and weather. Its easy to pack, so its good for travel plus its lightweight so it keeps you warm without feeling bulky.

Confortable

I really love the fabric and color, it's fits perfect. I haven't worn it out yet so I can't say if it's super warm, but if it's not it will be my fall spring coat.

5"4', 165lbs, 36DDD. I got the size large. I kinda have arms that are a 1/4 inch longer than the average. So I appreciate this jacket covers my wrist. I took it to Disneyland and it kept my body warm and dry although I did have an umbrella. I'm not sure if it's waterproof. It's my second one. I love it. Best jacket I own. Wish they made pants like this

My daughter lives in Seattle and this is the perfect jacket for a super busy person like her self! It's light and not heavy but super warm for cold Seattle!

Sounds bad, eh? But it replaced one almost identical that was worn to death for ten years, two Grand Canyon river trips (it's cold at night) and a serious dog bite--so I had it repaired. But it was getting kind of sad, so I bought its descendant, hoping it would live up. It does, even better (I feel a little guilty, actually). But the old one is in the trunk of my car--for emergencies! Thank you North Face!

Perfect for an Alabama winter

I wear the jacket daily. It is very stylish, comfortable, and warm. I have been waiting for the dark blue one for a couple of years. Love the jacket.

I have been wearing these jackets for years. I absolutely cannot live without them. I love that they are super lightweight and yet super warm at the same time. I wear it around the house and all over town. Great for travel as well as they are very packable. Love them so much we bought 4 to give as gifts this year. Fit very true to size. I'm 5'6", 123 lbs and wear a size small.

Received as a Birthday gift! I had been wishing for a NorthFace coat for a long time! Don't like the bulky feel of most coats, Love the lightweight feel of this coat!

I have a Black Thermoball jacket that I bought almost 2 years ago based on rave reviews. It is a fabulous jacket, appropriate for my main uses of hiking plus casual wear in Alaska. It is still in great shape but I wanted a brighter color to be more visible outdoors. I bought the Pink and it's a striking color. Initially I was taken aback by how much heavier it is compared to my other Thermoball. The original version is so amazingly light I feel a lot of freedom in my movement when I wear it. My Pink jacket is noticeably heavier, but the sales associate explained that it is possibly due to the way they achieve the density of color. In other words the fabric is more dense and, therefore, heavier, in order to have a bold color that isn't see-through. And some of the other colors did feel slightly lighter. The Eco version felt lighter still. I was tempted to buy the Eco version because I so love the lightweight feel of my original Thermoball. But the Pink color won out. So far I have no regrets. The jacket feels good on. It also has a breast pocket that the original didn't have. But my favorite feature of the Thermoball jacket is that there is adequate room in the chest area for me to move my arms and not feel restricted in the chest area. This is a rare thing for me. I am not big chested but rather have a slightly broader back (38 bra size) for my build. I try on jackets all the time that are too snug in the chest and I refuse to buy them. So I hope, North Face, that in your attempts to "improve" future versions of the Thermoball that you don't make the jacket leaner, because that will certainly force me to move on. But for now I still LOVE this jacket and wear it every day. It is the best all-around jacket I have ever owned. One more thing - I also love that the back is slightly longer so that cold air doesn't creep in when I squat or bend over. A nice addition. (BTW, I bought my husband the hooded man's version and he loves his as well!)

Bought this specific thermal ball jacket for my mother as a gift, let me just say, she loved it. Wears it practically every other day now, ever since she received it. Nice winter coat for anybody looking for a light, and warm one. Would definitely purchase again!
