wear it everyday, I like that it keeps me warm without needing a lot of layers, and it isn't bulky

I ordered both the XS and the S. It is cut somewhat boxy, so I went with the XS. (I am 5'6" and typically wear a size 2 in clothing.) Sleeves are decently long (lots of times an XS will have relatively short sleeves.) Really like the fact that it has the wind/water resistant shell with the light lining for warmth. The collar is a little stiff and high - that's why I gave it four stars for style. Also, the binding/elastic at sleeve cuff is relatively tight (could be good or bad depending on your preference.) I ordered the "juicy red" which is a nice orangey-red. Since I will wear while out walking, wanted the visibility!

I love the lightweight and comfortable gig when I put it on. It's waterproof and works great when the weather changes hourly.

I bought this jacket with the intention of wearing it on chilly, windy hikes. I have not gotten a chance to test it, however in trying it on I'm confident it is just what I need. The fit is identical to the regular Resolve rain jacket. I'm 5'5" 145 lbs and the medium is perfect with room for layers.

This jacket is AMAZING!! It is just like the Resolve Jacket but insulated and so warm!! The fit is the exact same. I ordered the Juicy Red and the color is so vibrant and beautiful!! It's perfect for your fall/winter wardrobe!!

I’m 123lbs, 5’4 and got a small in the lighter grey color. I was wearing a short sleeved cotton T-shirt when I tried it on and it fit too perfect. In other words, it might be too tight with a sweater or long sleeve shirt on underneath. The armholes also felt too snug. When I zipped it up to my chin, it covered my neck really well but when I looked down at my shoes, I felt like it was choking me a bit. Immediately placed an order for Medium hoping it fits better. As for warmth, it’s a thin insulated layer it’s not bulky or puffy. It’s 45 degrees out and with a long sleeve shirt underneath, I’m comfy.

I bought this jacket because I was looking for a lighter weight jacket to wear skiing. It’s perfect. Not bulky. I was able to layer and was plenty warm enough. The style is nice too. I would typically wear a size small but the small was snug around the bottom and I knew I wanted to layer. I am 5”2’ and 120lbs. The medium was perfect.

Use it when we have a cold front, fog, or rainy/wet weather. The humidity makes it feel colder and this blocks the cold out. Great for showing property in, function and still stylish.

Bought for my teenager to wear because she walks to the bus stop. It's stylish but basic and she likes it.

Intending to use this as my winter coat this year. Wore it in below freezing temps to walk the dogs and it did just fine. I had to size up to make room for the girls, so it is roomy in the stomach and also a little breezy up the bottom. Hoping I can cinch it in at the hips enough to limit that.
Also unfortunate that dog hair sticks really easily to the fabric of this jacket.

I received this in the mail yesterday. I got my usual size and I regret not sizing up. I have an athletic build and I have very wide shoulders it's a bit snug and I wanted the jacket to be a bit looser. Because it's fitted I can't layer underneath:( It's good for wet and cold conditions but I live in Michigan and our winters are extreme so I will probably have to purchase a parka before winter gets here. A good fall jacket though.

I love this jacket. It's warm and not bulky at all. My only complaint is the good...I love that it has one but the collar is odd, too tall, when the hood is stored.

I have used this jacket when walking outdoors for an hour + and it has been really great! Very waterproof and warm, and it's nice to have the option of a hood. The only downside for me was that it was a little expensive (by my college standards), and there is a velcro overlap covering the zipper (which tends to catch on things).

I like this coat. It's a great winter coat, I think. I wish it was just a notch thicker, to have the same warmth rating as the tri-climate coats so I trust North Face Customer Service when the representative told me this was a comparable winter coat. I ideally wanted one of the tri-climate jackets for the brutal Wisconsin winters, but I needed two different sized for each coat and that wasn't going to work for me. So, this was a good alternative. I debated between this coat and the Shelbe Raschel, and I'm going to go with the Shelbe because it lays a little more femininely. The fabric of this particular coat is just a little more "crinkly" in texture and slightly more bulky because of the fabric. Still a good coat. I didn't get a chance to test it out in the WI winter, but I think with a sweater and a scarf it would be warm enough.

My wife loves the coat but she says it runs a little smaller than her other TNF jackets. She has already gotten several compliments on this jacket.

I bought this jacket for myself because I love the one I got for my hubby. It's lightweight, but warm and keeps him dry. I love that even the hood has insulation. Unfortunately, the insulation in the women's version is thinner, and none in the hood, and on the whole, not as warm as the men's version. I may not keep it, I'm so disappointed, I needed a warm jacket that keeps me dry because winters here is mostly wet. I have an old version of the Apex hooded coat that I was hoping this Insulated Resolve coat would replace. The search continues...

I bought this after returning an earlier jacket. I need to layer clothes for an Alaskan cruise. Size XL. I felt like a sausage when I zipped it. Returned.

Bought for my daughter who wears size 2/4. Arms were very snug and restricted movement. Definitely could not wear layers underneath, maybe a t-shirt.
Trying to exchange for larger size and not in stock anywhere. Failed Christmas present
