I purchased the size 7 black full grain calf boot. Opening the packaging was impeccable. A thank you note, each boot in it's own bag. Even the interior of the box was lined with artwork. Packaging A+ The boots are well made. Solid construction, thick leather, sole was a little stiff. As some had already mentioned on here, the boot fits snug, I would suggest ordering a 1/2 size up. One note on the styling, the boots appear more "square" in the pictures. I expected the toe to be flatter, however it's more rounded. This shouldn't be seen as a negative, more of an observation. To summarize, the quality of the boot is excellent, the fit is a little tight, and the styling is appropriate from the office to the bar. Would definitely recommend these boots.

beautiful boots - as others say order a half size larger - my larger exchange size arrived albeit without any of the signature manufacturer’s packaging - eg box/dust covers…. not a huge issue however a slight disappointment after receiving such in the initial order..

I originally purchased these shoes in a size 7 (I have tiny, fat feet) for my wedding. However, I was surprised that they squeezed the life out of me. Despite their tightness, they extended well beyond my toe due to the style. I was afraid that moving up to a 7.5 would make the shoe too long, but I sent them back and did just that because someone else who wrote a review had experienced something similar. I couldn't be happier about this choice. These shoes are truly exceptional. I would like nothing more than personally thanking Mr. Santana for the creation of these incredible works of art. The shoes arrived packaged in small draw string bags separating them from one another to avoid them touching, and come with the welcoming smell of high end leather. They also had an extra pair of laces and foam inserts. Holding these shoes, one is left wondering if this is the first time they have experienced true quality. The fit was a tad snug at first, but after about 2 hours of wearing them around my house they fit perfectly. These are the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased and I would have paid twice as much if I knew what I was really buying. I will likely attach wedding pictures after I am married this December.

Very good looking boot, but the interior stitching (top and at the heel) is very uncomfortable and I would recommend padding to alleviate blisters

The boots felt like they were a Taylored fit with very clean lines. The leather was spot on! Not to soft, Not too firm. My mates were undone when they saw the style and swag I putting on. Cheers Zappos! You have done it again!

I've looked at, and tried on, several black suede chukka boots at other local stores but they just weren't right. Typically, poor suede that lacks suede on the front of the boot, or the fit. However, these Santana boots are literally perfect. Great fit. Great suede. Very very nice. I highly recommend.

Definitely follow the advice of ordering a half size larger. My dress shoe size is typically a 9 and a 9.5 was perfectly snug.

Followed the reviews of others and ordered a size smaller. I usually take a 9 and so going down a full size was daunting and worried at being too tight, but the other reviewers were dead right and they fit as good as my usual size 9's. Leather is a bit inconsistent but happy with the grainy look and brogue styling. Can be worn with jeans, or more formal pants. Look like Loakes but at a much cheaper price. Quick delivery from Carlos Santana .Overall, very happy with purchase.

Great daily shoes. They straddle the perfect line between casual, but dressy. Great with jeans, cords, chinos, whatever.

I originally ordered the Size 7, but it was a bit too tight. Since I was not willing to give up on this beautiful shoe, i took some risk and returned it in exchange for the size 7.5. PERFECT FIT. Certainly there are individual differences in foot shape (Morphology), but in my case sizing up a half size worked. I have to say that the Carlos by Santana are the absolute BEST shoes i've ever found. I got the set of Corazons, Black, Black suede, Brown, and Honey brown suede. So many complements on them, and i've only had them for a few days.

Love the look and style, don't take my comfort rating to heart - my feet are too wide for these shoes. That's the heartbreaking downside - these are only available in medium width :(

Subtly stylish, masculine edge without overstatement. Good value for the price point. Gonna take a while to break in, stiff on day one. I’ve a wider foot and this was snug bordering on uncomfortable. Better fit for medium width.

Great looking, quite comfortable, only missing better arch support so they feel a bit stiff.

I love these boots. Excellent quality comsidering the price I paid. I can wear them easily and quickly ; because I'm always late. They provide different colour. Try to take brown leather. Its really unique. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful pair of shoes. Perfect quality of leather used in it . They look narrow but are actually a decent width fitting (I have a short wide foot!) . They are amazing for me. I can wear them all the time.

These boots are very comfortable for walking but a little bit too tight. I'm wearing it with my dress. If I would order these again, and I probably will, I would go up a size larger. However, I think if you want to save money I believe you could take a chance to try them .They make a little bit of noise as you are walking but it's not so loud that it becomes annoying.So overall I like these boots.

I like these shoes after wearing. They are comfortable , fashionable and light weight. Also,it look attractive When I wear it with suit. Loved it.

a beautiful shoe that didn't fit

Good looking boots but the second I put them on the poor quality of leather showed right away with a few cracks running across the boots. I wore these twice in over a year, and now they are sitting in my closet totally useless. Macy’s sells these for $65 now. The quality is identical. I checked.
