My foot is borderline medium to narrow. I wear a proper size 11.5. I usually buy only Stuart Weitzman or Via Spiga to get that size. Otherwise I do ALOT of trial and error. I purchased 4 pairs of Dansko in size 42. I learned this because another person had written a review saying that all of her shoes fit differently. Well literally Every Single pair of mine fit differently. I absolutely could not actually get my foot in this one. I also purchased another pair of these exact professional patent. They were about half size larger. I could get my foot inside of them but were a tad small.

The problem with these XP 2.0 is there was a slighly different cut and sizing between the left and right shoe. The right one came in a bit where the instep would be whereas the left was more straight like the original professional. The tighter fit was on my SMALLER foot They also seems to come out of two differnt factories or production lines. Normally my left foot is the larger one both in length and width yet it had a roomier fit than the right. I had the impression that the sole is softer than the profession, though comparing this to the ones I bought years ago and I think it will not wear as long. The slip resistant tread seems less defined as the more indented groves of the original. Even the stamping on the bottom where the size and patent number was different looking in the type face. Was I sold "seconds"? For the money and previous quality of the predecessors, 4 pairs in all, not impressed and sending it back

Terrible. Change in Dansko quality over the last few yers - with no decrease in price. I am a loyal Dansko clog girl for over 20 years - I decided to try the XP2.0 - leather wrinkled/bent walking in house to try on and within minutes hurt the side of my foot. I was very disappointed - but had read this problem from other reviews . They looked cute. Really wanted them to work out. also - narrow, I got the wide as advised by reviews and felt like regular width to me.

Dansko apparently has changed their shoe sizing/design. If you like a shoe where your heal slips out with every step, then this is the shoe for you. I was disappointed and will return them. The last closed toe Dansko shoes I purchased was about 10 years ago and it’s time to replace them. Yet not with another pair of Dansko as I want a shoe that my heel doesn’t slip out of it.

I hate these shoes. They rub my ankle the wrong way and slip when I walk. I much prefer the dansko professional clog. There is also no arch support for me.

So small I couldn't even get them on AND I sized up and order the wide option

Something bizarre in the fit of the heel. Ordered two styles of Dansko clogs. This one definitely being returned.

I don't know how these are considered the number 1 restaurant shoe. They were as comfortable as a wooden clog. No support, no cushion, no give. Very disappointed

There is something on the top inside of the left shoe that is hard and rubbing on the top of my foot - I think it is a manufacturing issue?

I don't get why people rave about these shoes. The upper is as hard as a rock, and weirdly isn't even shaped like a foot. I had to check twice to make sure I didn't have them on the wrong feet. They're going back.

I have been wearing Dansko for years and have replaced a few pairs after my puppy chewed on them so didn’t immediately inspect them when they arrived (as always fit and were consistent in quality) when I went to put them on this morning I realized that the insoles were completely missing and there was some sticky tape inside where they should have attached to inside. Odd. Looks like quality control was asleep at the wheel. Will return and likely try again

I ordered a size 6 thinking would fit me but to big, so I returned the item got a refund back and ordered size 5-6 still big on me so not sure what size really fits me because I’m usually a size 6-7, I’m so disappointed I’ve been waiting to wear my shoes to work

Not sure what happened to the Dansko product. Been wearing them for 20 years but in the last 5 years, I can not count on the sizing to be correct. Sometimes they are too small but mostly too big. I never know what you're going to get. Bought a new pair for a wedding only to find out on the night before the wedding that that they are way too big. With that said, try them on as soon as you get them.

These shoes did not fit my feet at all. Gapped in the heel area. I think they were the correct size, but did not fit my feet.

I have never received a pair of shoes from Zappos in such horrible condition. One shoe had the right side staples completly ripped out. They were obviously worn and dirty. For the full price I should receive brand new shoes not shoes that have been previously worn

I’m running returning these. I’ve never in my life had a pair of Danskos split at arch maybe the flex is too much for the material? I don’t believe these are leather? Also the staples come out (as others have noted). First let me say these are the MOST COMFORTABLE LIGHT DANSKOS I’ve ever OWNED IN The 20 years of wearing Danskos. They also only lasted 3 months for $144! NO ABSOLUTELY NOT.! I’ve never ever returned a pair of shoes for wear or performance but these will be returned. Sad now I need to find something to replace them.

Shoe is great but the top layer is coming off in 2 weeks of daily wear .. I need a refund or exchange dansko

I was really excited about these and I love my other Danskos, but I couldn't even get my foot into this pair. The instep was super tight even though I do not have a high instep. The length was about right and if I removed the footbed, I could fit them on, but that eliminates all the cushioning. Sadly they had to go back.

The instep was too far back on my foot, so the shoe rose and hurt my foot. The heel is low, and slips off my heel. Feels like the shoe rocks me backwards on my heels, more weight on my heels.

I bought these shoes from another retailer but am reviewing here/everywhere to raise awareness of how dangerous these shoes are. While simply walking in clinic they caused my ankle to roll with serious injury. I have spoken with over 20 other health care professionals so far with similar experiences and have seen multiple online.posts about this issue. Buyer beware!

I’ve been wearing Dansko for over 30 years and all the sudden I’m a size smaller. Makes it harder cause I’m now a women’s 5 and selection and style are limited. Still love Them tho!

These are great of course. But: for those of us with high insteps : beware. Before pregnancy I wore a 38, and after pregnancy am now a 39. When I buy the right size of this shoe everything fits except the area sounding the insole, which pinched so much my toes go numb. These were the first shoes I bought after Pregnancy so I thought it was just me needing to buy bigger shoes now and donated the first ones after just few months thinking oh well that’s the price we pay when our bodies change but this time I sized up to a 40 and they are too big length-wise but still a bit pinching on the instep. I have never had real success with having shoes stretched but now I realize that’s what I should have done to have accurate sizing. Spent a lot of money on this now and have shoes that don’t fit. Bummer.

I have been buying Dansko clogs for a decade. I have loved the Professional and the XP was my go to for everday clogs....I have had at least four pairs of the original XP. This was the first XP 2.0 that I ordered, I am returning them as the fit has totally changed and I had pain after wearing them. They moved cushioning crating an awkward fit and they were about 1/4 size larger than previously with the original XP or Professional. I guess I will stick with the Professional. So glad Zappos customer service is so great. I also let Dansko, the company know.

I have lived in Dansko clogs for 2 decades! They are an easy on-off shoe when running in and out of the house with little kids. And they were great for my back when working all day. I particularly liked the XPs because they were lighter and more cushioned. Sadly, I went to order my usual size (41) and it was way too big, so I sent them back and ordered a 40, which had my toes pushing up agains the ends (meanwhile the heels were very wide). Don't know why they changed something that had worked so well. I haven't bought a pair in 2-3 years, so if you have more recently, then these sizes may fit fine for you.
