So I wear many styles of Dansko shoes and they are all very comfortable at a 39. These, like many others have stated, run bigger..so ordering at least a size down is recommended. I'd probably need a 38. A big issue for me was that the brown leather version had this ombre effect: the toe leather was much darker than the rest of the shoe. In the zappos photos a highlight minimizes this visual impact. It was a real shame as the overall brown color was very nice, warm and rich. I would have totally reordered the smaller size had that not been there.

They look great and have that classic Dankso comfort, however the opening is far too wide, i didn't need to unzip them to slip my foot in with ease, and every step my heel comes out of the shoe completely. I don't know who would be able to keep their foot in this shoe while walking, but my narrow feet are not a match.

I love these boots and have worn them a few times over the past two months. The chestnut burnished calf is a lovely brown color that goes with almost everything. Whether dressy or casual, these boots have you covered. I love that I can wear these boots comfortably all day and walk all over the office and stand without discomfort. My only complaint is that the leather shows ever scuff, crease, and fold. Disappointing since it is almost impossible to get them on without creasing the backs and the cost of the boots. I treated the boots with Dansko Leather Cream, as advised on Dansko’s website, but it didn’t seem to keep them from wearing so badly in such a short time. I’ve owned many Dansko’s in black but this was my first experience with the brown color. I can say I may never buy brown Dansko’s again if they scratch and scuff this easily. Most disappointed in the quality I have come to expect from this company.

I was in-between sizes so I followed the reviews and went with the smaller size. They fit just right. I work in a hospital and stand for most of my 10 hour shifts. I was searching for shoes that would give me some height while being shock absorbent and comfortable...oh yeah and I wanted them to look good with dress pants. These Danskos checked all the boxes! The heel is very sturdy and gives great support on concrete floors. These are high enough to give me some lift but are also comfortable to walk in. The only negative is the shoes scuff very easily.

I wear a 39 in normal dankos, 8.5 in other shoes and the 39 in these felt big. I ordered a 38 and they fit perfect!

I have "high-volume" (meaning chubby/fleshy) feet that are wide in the toes and relatively narrow in the heel. I also have high arches. It is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes, but one pair that has worked very well for me is the Dansko Shirley ankle boot, and I bought the Rainas hoping they would be a shorter alternative. Actually, I bought about 8 pairs of Danskos from the classic clogs to the Frankie and Maria styles and ONLY the Raina, Shirley, and Susan (very similar to the Shirley) styles worked. They are all very comfortable, well-made shoes for feet like mine. I had heard the Rainas ran big, and I found they do, but not ridiculously so. I take anywhere from a size 8.5-10 depending on the brand and I am a 40 in these. The 39s were much too small.

I am desperate to find new boots to replace my worn out Dansko boots and I really wanted these to work. They are really comfortable right away but they are so short—your sock show. Since I want these for winter wear it is impractical to have such short booties. I’m returning.

I just received these mushroom ankle boots and just tried them on. The style, arch support and design are nice except for the quality of the ones I received. I will say these seem to have decent arch support and a nice solid sole that would have decent traction. I’ll include photos- the mushroom boots I just received have definitely been worn- they have several scuff marks and scratches on them, along with the soles showing dirt and hair too. I’m sad because they’re the perfect kind of ankle boot for my feet right now. They didn’t have the plastic on the shoes or the cardboard or plastic inside each boot either. It finally is cold here and boot weather so hate to have to go to ups and send these back and wait for a new pair. ? I live in a rural community so shopping is at least an hour away so I do most of it online.

The Raina by Dansko is a sharp-looking boot in a comfortable dress/casual style, but it runs about a half size larger than other Dansko styles that I have worn. If you want to wear your usual weight of sock, I recommend ordering down in size.

WAY too big! I am a 6 - 6.5, but based on the reviews ordered down to get the 5.5-6 and it felt more like a 7. Had to return, too bad.

Most comfortable basic black “regular-wear office booties” I’ve put on in years! Comfortable from the start with no “breaking in” period. Purchased my typical Dansko size which fit perfect. I wish the heel was a tiny bit higher for a little more sass, but then I suppose they wouldn’t be as comfortable. These are the ones I will turn to because I want to look polished in the winter, but take a break from heels and get as close as I can to feel like I’m wearing slippers. Or will be on my feet a ton that workday. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Dansko, you nailed it again!!!

I normally wear a 37 in Dansko but needed a 36 in this boot. Very comfortable and roomy fit. Purchased both colors and anticipate getting a great deal of wear out of them.

Due to the many good reviews on comfort and coupled with the style, I bought these for when I am on my feeet for hours. They do seem very comfortable and are cute but are too big. I am a 6 1/2 but have fat feet (slightly thick instep and slightly wide) so I often have to order a 7. I ordered 37 but am going to need a 36.

Based on reviews, I ordered my usually 41's but also the 40s as so many said they ran large. Not so for me. The 41s fit with a little slip in the heel but when I wore them around the house for an hour or so, my feet began to throb. Took them off and boxed 'em. Tried again a few days later as I really wanted them to work, they are cute and what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the toe box is just not high or wide enough so back they went. Disappointed but glad I had the chance to wear them at home to find out they would not have worked.

I LOVE these booties!!! They are super comfy, right amount of height, good grip and support. Very cute with all sorts of outfits. I absolutely love them. Wish I could afford them in every color! Highly recommend!

These booties run big. I'm a size 38 Dansko clogs. I ordered my normal 38 the 1st time & they were too big. Was concerned ordering a 37 would be too small, but they fit perfectly. Very comfortable! Cute bootie - nice combo of style & function.

Love these shoes!! The color is a very versatile color. The first paid I received fit perfectly but had a big scuff mark on the back so Zappos replaced them with their excellent customer service. The next pair received were huge on my feet! I had read other reviews of how the shoes just fell off their heels and that is exactly what the 2nd pair did. I called back to Zappos and they sweetly sent another replacement pair which turns out to be perfect! I love Zappos & their wonderful customer service!!

These boots are lovely and well made. However, they run large. I have many pairs of Danskos and I ordered the same size as usual, but they were too big.

I had to end up sending these back because it felt that I didn’t have enough room in the toe box for me. Comfortable otherwise. I just have a wider foot and felt it would bother me at the end of the day. Color and look of the boot was great!

These are great!! The leather is smooth and soft- makes for a secure feeling shoe with enough room to wiggle my (very wide) toes. The heal height is just right- a little height to dress up casual work clothes or jeans but not too tall to feel unsteady. The heel and sole are rubber- great traction and comfort and soft footsteps. Very happy overall!

Amazingly comfortable. I wish they were a little taller but keeping and loving how great they feel. This is a more expensive shoe than I would normally purchase but so worth it for the comfort and quality.

i loved the style of these boots. but, when i tried them on i was in love! stylish AND comfortable. i loves the fit so much i bought the similar style in the shoe (liliana)

Great comfort that I expect from Dansko. Boot dressier option alternative to my collection of "professional" clogs. Can be dressed up or down (dresses or jeans).
