I love the look of this shoe. I own a retail store and am on my feet a lot. I have an older style, Tandy, which is also a Mary Jane but with a larger looking profile. I can wear it all day with no problems. As soon as I put this shoe on, I could feel the lack of arch support. When walking around the carpet, it just didn't feel secure. I wish Dansko would just keep shoe styles that work for those who purchase yearly and need just the right shoe. They also made a clog, Tamara, that was perfect. Sadly, that, too is gone. However, Zappos is the best business. Sadly, these will be returned.

These actually look kind of cute on the foot. The heel is chunky which takes the dressiness down a notch so if you want these for a very dressy occasion they may not do. I got the black and it has a brown heel so that also makes it more casual looking. I’m returning these because I found the strap across the top uncomfortable. It felt stiff and it cut into my foot when I walked. The foot bed has some cushioning which is nice (not a huge amount but not bad) and the size seems true to size. I’m sorry they didn’t work out for me.

Comfortable. Love the support from the heel. Can be worn all day.

I wish I liked this shoe. It is a cute style with a solid heel, and different color, which is a nice look. It was a half size too large, and even though there is a top strap, my foot kept coming up, enough in such a way that I am certain sizing down would not make a difference. It is comfortable though, if it fit...

Super comfortable, and very classy looking, but I was in between sizes.

I ordered this in the size I have for the other Dansko shoes I have, which is a size smaller than the size recommended for the U.S. shoe size I normally ear. This shoe was too short and tight on the toes. I ordered the next size up, and this shoe was too long, too big. I liked the shoe, but the styling of it had a definitely different fit than the other Dansko shoes I have. I wish it would have fit.

I want to love these shoes, but I think they’re just okay ultimately. As usual Dansko, I had to play with the sizes; the 40 was too big and the 39 is just about right. I usually wear a 40 in other brands, but Dansko I do find I am usually 39 or 39.5. I love the heel height and sturdiness of this shoe, but they look a little dowdy on and my heel slips in them. The maryjane strap keeps them on me, but I worry that I’ll be getting blisters if I wear them too much too soon. Not loving the look of the shoe, I’ll probably wear them with slacks and hopefully they’ll break in to become great work shoes that I can walk miles in — like another pair of Danskos I have, but it will take some work and probably a few band aids along the way!

Super comfortable but they seemed to “sensible” in the style

The heel slips a lot. I don't think I can keep them. I don't think the size smaller would help because the rest of the shoe seems like it's the correct size.

I loved the look and thought they’d be great for business suits to be comfortable yet moderately stylish. The dig into my skin in multiple places causing a blister on the first day of wearing them. Also, the heel caused my back to ache for days, not sure why. I wore them for a quick airplane ride to San Diego and opened my suitcase in the airport to switch my shoes to my flats. They weren’t good for my feet, unfortunately, because they’re very pretty!

I wear a 37 in Dansko clogs and a 36 in Birkenstock sandals and closed toe shoes. I purchased this in a 37 but it was way too big, so sadly, it had to go back. I think the shoe fits my style and would be good for dressy days when I have to stand around, so I will likely be ordering the smaller size. I wish the heel was a bit higher and the shoe was all black as I am not a big fan of the two tone brown black. But it seemed cute enough for me once I get the right size.
