Good, basic navy color, nice suede look, arch support there but not TOO there, laces allow for a good mid-foot fit, exactly perfect medium width. They come with both light and dark blue laces. Great shoe. However, the sizing is about 1/2 size short. I wear a 10M-11M and ordered the 41, which says it is for 10.5-11. My toes say, nope, ouch, too short. Jammed right up to the end. In other European sizing, I generally wear a 42, which is a true 10.5-11 and comfortable. I should have ordered that in the first place, I guess, but their chart said otherwise. So, because they are perfect with jeans and exactly what I've been looking for, I am ordering the 42 and hoping for a perfect fit.

I got these to wear at a teaching job. Cute shoes, except for that weird strip of synthetic material going up the tongue. They don't really look like athletic shoes, so it looks strange and is more apparent than I would've thought from the photos. Probably would've kept otherwise, but it just looks weird and tacky to me. Pretty comfy but not comfortable enough to overlook the style.
I thought the Dansko Fallon's are a cuter oxford choice.

My first review appears here, too. I had bought these in my usual size (10.5M) and they were too short - thought he width was perfectl. I exchanged them for a size larger and they almost fell off my foot, including being way too wide. I'd have to wear 2-3 pairs of socks to keep them on. The size consistency seems to be off. I generally like the look of the shoe, the perfect-with-jeans navy color, the cush of the foot bed with light arch support, and I'm even okay with the light blue stripes. But the fit just wasn't there. I am very disappointed because I've been looking for a good lace-up blue shoe for a while and I thought this could be it. Wasn't.

These shoes are wonderful. I put them on this morning for the first time and spent the day shopping and running errands. I was tired at the end of the day but my feet weren’t!

These shoes straddle the line between a comfy sneaker and a dress shoe. A lot of dress shoes for women have a very low and constricting toe box, which rubs the knuckles on my toes raw (my toes a permanently curled or bent at the knuckle so they hump up, rather than lying down flat). The toe box on these is lower than on a sneaker, but there is more space than a traditional dress shoe. The black nubuck can get a little dusty looking so you will want to treat these carefully and spray them with a water protector made for nubuck. I wish they were completely solid black, but they do come with black laces, so I switched the steel blue laces for the black ones to make them a little dressier.

I have found the Dansko Kimi to be extremely comfortable and a wonderful alternative to the clunky New Balance shoes I typically wear. The toe box is generous (important because I suffer from bone spurs, arthritis, and hammertoes), and the shoe accommodates my orthodics, which correct Morton's neuroma. I have narrow heels and the shoe slips just a little, but it does not cause me blisters after 3-plus miles on concrete sidewalks.
This shoe looks great with either ankle length, slim-legged pants or with full-length pants with a wider leg. The lace-up style allows me to alter the fit depending on whether I wear light socks or nylons.
I don't know how long the Scotchguard will last, but so far my feet have stayed dry in the rain.
I bought the Dansko Kimi in two colors. I wanted a dressier, all black shoe so added black shoelaces and, using a permanent magic marker, colored the the contrasting twill trim on the tongue black. The navy pair I left as received them. I mostly wear this pair with jeans, and I like the sporty look of the contrasting light blue trim, although I usually wear the dark blue laces instead of the light blue ones. (The navy color comes with two pairs of laces, one dark blue, one light blue.)
