I loved the way these shoes looked! The different textures, the color, the pull-tie closure were all excellent. Unfortunately I couldn't keep them on. The part of the shoe behind the ankles was very hard and caused blisters and redness through my socks as I walked around during the day. Disappointing!

I am really happy with these shoes. I wear a 9.5 in most shoes and a 10 in athletic-type shoes -- my feet are long and skinny -- and the size 40 is perfect. Most shoes that are really cute in size 6 or 7 look like enormous clown shoes on my feet. Not these! If you have wider feet or toe issues, these might not be right for you, but if you have long feet that run narrow, these are pretty great. I also have high arches, and these seem to have enough support. I plan to use these shoes both for walking the dogs and for exercise purposes. One final note: the box says 100% employee owned, which I think is wonderful. I am happy to support a company that supports its employees.

I've worn these shoes on several urban and nature hikes and am so grateful I bought them. The support is terrific, the toe box is nice and roomy, and they keep my feet cool. I haven't had any issue with the shoe tongue, but the heel did feel hard at first and I was worried about it. I put in a heel gel pad (which I need anyway) and wore socks initially. I didn't have any problems with rubbing or blisters. Now I can wear the shoes without socks. For sizing reference, I have long, low volume feet with monkey toes. The 41 is a good fit.

These shoes provide great support, which was my main goal in buying them. So, overall I'm pretty happy with them. It seems hard to find a good quality shoe with great support at a reasonable price. These shoes fit the bill. The styling isn't super attractive, but they look just as pictured so I know that going in. The length of the tie cord is a bit annoying as others point out. After you pull the tie tight, there is so much overhang of the tie cord that you have to tuck it in. The shoes do rub a bit in the back against my Achilles but keeping them anyway.

Feels a bit stiff at first but softens with wear. Not for running or vigorous walking but great for errands and around the house.

I've worn Danskos for almost 20 years, which, of course, is the problem. I now have old feet. The shape of the footbed has evolved from a wider toe box to a narrower width through the metatarsal arch. Based on the fit of these shoes, apparently the solution for me is to buy half a size larger and to hope the heel is narrow enough to keep my foot in the shoe. I used to be able to find the occasional wider shoe that worked, but that is harder than ever these days, when wide sizes come with wide heels.

Very comfortable, great support. I bought these after my Dansko 'Helen' shoes wore out, and I like this shoe as well or better because of the great fit and support. The design of the toe box is actually better than Helen. It hugs the foot without cramping the toes. Also bought a pair of 'Honor' at same time in different color. It's good too but Holland has a better more supportive fit at the ball of the foot & in toe area. Not much cushion in the sole. That's the only negative.

I bought a pair in the burgundy color and like the fit and style so much I bought another pair in the blue color. They are very comfortable and like that there are no ties but the bungee cords are adjustable. Get lots of compliments. Love them!

I wear jeans a lot and these coordinate so great - but the best part is my feet still feel good after wearing them all day! And I’m 76 years old.

I hate wearing tennishoes, but need them for bicycling, sightseeing, ziplining, etc. The bungee cord makes these quick and easy to get on and the simple (but not slim) design is way more flattering on my size 11 feet than my current tennishoes. The heel is a little stiff, hoping it will break in. These just may convert me to being a tennishoe lover!

Love these shoes. I have a history of stress fractures and a broken ankle, so arch support is what I am always looking for. I have tons of Danskos but they aren't always "cute", which I care about but it's not the most important thing. I walk a mile each way to work, and clock another mile or so during the day, so I need a solid walking shoe. I don't like to carry my shoes and change when I get there. This shoe has taken me to work and back 10 times at least since I got them a couple of weeks ago, and they are super comfortable and supportive. I love them. Biggest surprise- people keep complimenting them. I got the ivory color because I've been wanting a pair of white sneaks that I could actually walk in and these are perfect. Thanks, Zappos, for your patience.

I ususuaalt take a size 41 but to wear this shoe with a sock, I needed a size 42. It fits great.

I already have these shoes in gray and love them. I have a narrow foot, and the drawstring is what allows me to wear them. These are last year's "model" and were a great price. The ones that came out this year were not comfortable at all to me, and I just happened to see these from last year on Zappo's and bought another pair at a lower price. Narrow feet usually equals expensive shoes, so I was glad to get them. I wear them with jeans and leggings. Nicer looking than a tennis shoe but not a dress shoe either to me. Nice when it is supposedly winter but not cold enough for boots. Comfortable and adjustable with a nice toe box that allows me to wiggle my toes.

I usually wear a 7.5 shoe but the 38 was too big for me. Went down a size to 37 to get the right fit. The insoles are removable so orthodic insoles slip in nicely. The soles are a little stiffer than a regular sneaker, which works for me.

The elastic cord is too thin so it stretches every time I flex my foot walking and my heel comes out of the shoe. They're otherwise very comfortable.

Was very surprised at how narrow the toe area is. For a sport shoe they should be comfortable and not feel like I am squeezed into a pump. The sole should have more flex to it. Definitely not something I would wear to exercise in or walk in for any period of time. Don't feel like an athletic shoe despite looking like one. Too stiff.

I bought these in the wine color, and had really high hopes of loving them. They're going back though. I was trying to find an every-day shoe, and these did not offer the amount of support I was looking for.

I have worn Dansko clogs for years because they're the only shoes that heal my plantar fasciitis. I was very happy to see they had sneakers. I got them on Friday and wore them all weekend. There is very little arch support. The back of the shoe rubbed against my heel and gave me blisters. I am very disappointed with these shoes. I wish I could return them but I wore them all weekend.

I think the Dankso Holland is a very cute sneaker-style walking shoe. However, it appears to run small and narrow, so it didn't work for my average width feet in my usual Dankso size. I purchased it to compare with the Dankso Honor. Both ran small and narrow. Oddly, I found a pair of the Honor in a local store and purchased them in my usual Dansko size, leading me to think the ones Zappos sell are made in a different country than the ones I purchased. If you can find the right size for you, they are comfortable and great for walking.

I bought two pairs of 36's. The first pair had a weird fold on the inside of the tongue of the right shoe, so I thought a different pair would be more comfortable. However, even without the fold on the new pair, it turns out that this shoe is uncomfortable for me on the top of my foot where the tongue is stitched.

Just what I was looking for. A sneaker that looks slim and good with skirts. The ivory color is great. It's easy to tuck the loop of the bungee into the lace. Others complained about that. Not an issue.

I ordered my usual size and they fit great. I have two pair now the charcoal and ivory so I can wear them with most outfits.

I could use more arch support, nonetheless it is an excellent shoe!
