Love these shoes. I have been a fan of Dansko for many years and these did not disappoint. Wonderfully comfortable, no breaking in period, good arch support and a cute shoe to wear with jeans. My only negative comment is the advertising. These are not outdoor hiking shoes as described They are great for city walking (wore them on a recent trip to NYC and walked for miles) but the tread is not sufficient for walking trails. If you want a good walking shoes for city walking and around town, they are a great pick. If you spend a lot of time walking in the woods on uneven and r slippery terrain, they are not sufficient.

I ordered many boots to try for an upcoming trip (10!) and this was the only pair I kept. It was not the cutest, but it was the most comfortable and supportive. I tried many Rieker boots in this order and although that brand has worked well for me in the past, this time around they all seemed to run more narrow than the past. This boot is obviously well made. It had the best arch support of all the boots I tried, and was a bit more stylish than the other Dansko boot I tried.

I am a bartender and sometimes work 12 hour shifts. I need a shoe that has good support and cushioning but I also hate to sacrifice style. This shoe has it all. I received these yesterday and wore them to my 10 hour shift and felt great. My co-worker was so obsessed with them, she’s ordering them in the other color, and my neighbor asked if I care if she orders them too. You’ll love these and so will your feet.

I like the look and the fit of these boots. I got the black and I like the brown contrast. I would recommend them.

I read the 36 reviews that lauded this shoe and bought it based on this. Unfortunately, even standing in the shoe, I found it more uncomfortable than my Hoka Ones. This is unfortunate for me because it is a beautifully crafted shoe. I pondered the situation. First - the size 38 heel to toe sole is shorter than my Hoka Ones which are a 37.5. So while I could barely squeeze my foot into the 37, I couldn't figure out why the 38 seemed large. Then I realized that the portion of the instep over the top of my foot is high. If you have high arches, this is probably a great shoe for you. For me, however, when I would pick up my foot, the shoe didn't come with it. Still, the shoe is great value for money in my opinion. In the taupe color, the band around the ankle has just a hint of sparkle which adds to the overall impressiveness of the shoe.

I love these! Comfortable straight from the box! They are super easy to walk in and make my incredibly flat feet and weak ankles feel safe and secure. I will soon be purchasing a second pair. Wow.

I wear a 7.5-8.0 shoe and boot. The 38 is perfect. Very comfortable. I wore them all day the first day without any issues. I absolutely love these !!!

I need to find comfortable shoes due to four surgeries on one ankle. This shoe was lightweight, cute and fit true to size; however, top of shoe creased onto toe area when walking. :-(

Light and flexible with great support. I ordered same size that I wear in Dansko clogs, and tried them on with medium weight socks. Perfect! I will be wearing these on my trip to Northern Norway next May, but I'm also excited to wear around my hometown. Both colors are great but I'll have to settle on one because I can't afford both. Love the suede accent and smooth leather with secure, easy to tie and tighten laces. I like how they don't feel big and clunky. Well done, Dansko!

Not as comfortable as expected and half size large, returning.

This was a pretty comfortable shoe. The support was very good. The size was accurate. (I wear a 38.) I didn't like the way the back of the shoe felt--too much rubbing. And, frankly, it's just not that good-looking. The leather suede combination is ugly, and the beige heel doesn't help it any. I have better looking (and fitting) boots. These went back.

This is a beautiful shoe. In the past, I have been able to fit Dansko shoes. However, I find that it runs narrow for the size that I ordered. The largest size is 42. The description reads that size 42 fits 11-12. In my opinion, the size 42 is sized to small. Sadly, I have to return these shoes.

Great fit, comfort and style! Perfect for those cold days when you're out and about and you don't need a snow boot, but you need something with a little coverage and warmth. .

Perfect fit with my usual Dansko 38 (size 7-7.5) with very good arch support. Nice for casual winter shoe - Thank goodness for Zappos fabulous return policy which I am using yet again, I just really prefer these in black and not the lighter taupe color so now I’m waiting for restocking of black in my size and back these go.

I love these shoes so much that I would buy them in the other color if only they were available. I wore these for the first time to a museum where I was walking and standing for the entire day and these were so comfortable!! They are pretty cute, too. My foot runs slightly wide. Just wide enough that sometimes normal width shoes are too narrow, but not wide enough for wide width. These were a perfect fit for me.

Dansko knocks it out of the park once again! These shoes are great. They have a comfortable footbed - very supportive, good arch support - and the width accommodates my bunionettes. I often have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough for my foot, and these are great. The 37 fits a little loosely with thin socks, but a thicker pair makes them perfect (I find this to be the case with most size 37 shoes). They are definitely not hiking shoes - not enough ankle support or tread for that - but they are great for walking around the city. I swapped the hiking-style laces out for some black velvet ones, and they look much more formal and classic. The metallic touch at the ankle is nice, too. If you are looking for a comfortable walking/work shoe with a hint of outdoor style, these are perfect! (If you have a wider foot and need a more formal shoe, I recommend the Dansko Fawna mary jane).

The fit is exactly what I expect from my typical Dansko size. I read other reviews and purchased hoping for good arch support, and so far have been very pleased! They are super comfortable. I was looking for something sneaker-like but trendier that I could wear to work with skinny pants/sweater/jacket combo instead of wearing boots or clogs all the time and these are perfect.

These are so comfy right out of the box. I'm a true size 7 and they fit me perfectly (even with my nasty bunion). Dansko rarely disappoints. Very happy with my purchase.

Love the look of these shoes, but my foot is between a 10.5 and 11 medium and the size 41 just didn't cut it. So I'm returning them.

Loved these and was sad I had to return. Needed a bit more room in the toe box and the next size up would be too loose. Not the fault of the shoe design, my second toe is longer than my big toe and this causes fit issues from time to time. Nice comfy shoe.

I like everything about this shoe. They're are stylish & have excellent arch support. Two thumbs way up!

I have worn Danskos clogs and their walking (tennis) shoe for along time. With flat feet and a new ankle tendinitis, I was thrilled to find a shoe with higher ankle support. I wish they only made a few more styles like this!

I love these boots, supportive and cute with jeans. Feel great and can wear all day without my plantar fasciitis acting up.

Thank you, Dansko, for making women's shoe that is sensible for my feet! These shoes look good for my work as a psychotherapist. They look professional, yet are good for my feet and sturdy. I love these and purchased the black and the taupe. Lovely shoes.

Love them! Bought in black last Fall for travel and they have been great; wanted the taupe for Spring and the color is beautiful. More often wear a 39W but 40 works well for boots. Just hope I can find the right polish color for the leather. Delivery was quick which is a real plus when you live in Alaska. Thanks!!
