Love the style and the cushion BUT the toe box is so narrow and small that instead of the .5 size up you go in a running shoe, I recommend a full size up. My toenails are not happy with me :(

These shoes are awesome! I have overpronation and walk a LOT of miles each day with my job. These shoes fit like a glove. I bought the regular Cloudflyers about 6 months ago. They feel about half a size smaller than these to me. I wear an 11 and I usually do not deviate from an 11. I bought the 11 in these and they are a perfect fit. The waterproof has been extremely helpful for this rainy season we've had. I have not fully submerged my feet in a deep puddle, but I've walked in some pretty heavy rain and the shoes themselves do not allow water in. My pants get wet at the bottom and get my ankles wet, but my feet weren't saturated. These shoes are also surprisingly slip-resistant. They squeak for just a few steps, but I've never slipped in these or the regular Cloudflyers. Now, as far as comfort goes... before I bought these, I had trouble with my feet, knees and back aching after walking 12 miles a day. No more! These shoes are perfect, right out of the box! No break in time. I will say that the waterproof version holds in more moisture than the regular Cloudflyers, but that can be alleviated by planning to change socks or simply taking them off for a few minutes to let your feet cool. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase. They are worth every penny!

I returned these. The shoe wasn't foot freindly. I have other (non-waterproof) On Cloud athletic shoes which are my very comfortable favorites, but these were completly different. The soles were stiff and upper material unforgiving. They felt and looked boxy. They were difficult to put on, probably because the material over the arch was so tight and the elastic laces non-adjustable. My arches are moderately high and i have slight pronation. These had no corrective support- they felt neutral. I ended up with Adidas Terrex- perfect for me and comfortable right out of the box. Bring on Alaska trails!

Very quick delivery, props, got to say... nice looking shoe, picture does it justice. Fits a little stiff upon first entry, but loosens up quickly... probably because of the waterproof membrane. No worries, great feeling when walking, soft landings all around.

I love Cloud shoes -- own 4 pairs. Was hoping the Cloudflyer waterproof would be a good addition for wet, cold conditions. Unfortunately, the shoe is too narrow for me. Guessing they must ave just taken the regular Cloudflyer and added a lining. Result, as a few other reviews have noted, is a shoe too narrow for my normal width feet. Perhaps would be okay for someone with narrow feet. As always, the Zappos' service and return procedures are awesome.

Although the shoe was really good looking with the black on black, I’m going back to the version that isn’t waterproof. This one felt more narrow and not as cushiony. Additionally it was making a squeaky sound. The toe box is more narrow on these and my toes felt suffocated. Going back to the original version. Bummed because these are way better looking.

I bought these shoes because they are waterproof and we are planning a trip to Ireland These shoes felt and looked “stocky”. I am small framed and they didn’t look very feminine on me. They were comfortable enough though.

Fit great, look great, only one flaw. They squeak when I walk. The left shoe. Every step. It didn’t happen until I broke them in at about 5 miles they squeak.

Fits well, takes a minute or two to loosen up due to the waterproof membrane, but, after, is perfect, soft. Like the black soles, too, the monochromatic look, is a bonus.

Super cute for a running shoe! This is the most comfortable of the three different styles of On running shoes that I tried on. It has great support- no need for a separate insole. The sizing for this particular shoe is tricky. I normally wear a US 8. Instead of going up half a size as I normally would for a running shoe, I had to go up a full size to a US 9. My foot is medium width. If one has a narrow foot you could probably get away with going up half a size.

Felt a lot tighter than my regular OCs. Would size half size up. I could tell compared to My Cloud X they really would be water and wind resistant.

The Cloudflyer, like other On shoes, run small. I usually wear an 8 in dress shoes, 8.5 in running shoes and always have to go to a 9 in Ons. Not an issue since I know that. However, because the tongue is attached to the shoe, there’s not a lot of give to be able to loosen the shoe across the midfoot. Unfortunately, that means these won’t accommodate my insoles, so I had to return them. But for someone else with a more narrow foot and no need for custom insoles I’m sure these would work. They have decent cushioning along the entire bottom of the shoe, including under the forefoot. They also are more sporty in their styling since they have a lot of reflective elements on them.

I have the regular Cloudflyer in a size 10 1/2. Ordered the waterproof version in the same size and it is so small and narrow. I had to send back and now ordering the men's version. We'll see how those fit.

These were very narrow. I ordered a half size larger than I wear and a full size larger. Both were too narrow in the forefoot area.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I am obsessed with my regular Clouds and wanted to try the Cloudflyer for stability and the waterproofing. Shoes looked and felt great BUT they audibly crackled like a dog toy with a plastic water bottle inside of it. I tried to ignore it but just couldn't get past the crackling.

I have always worn a size 7 and it appeared that these were at least two sizes too small. I couldn’t even get it on my foot

this is my 3rd return for these shoes. I REALLY want to like them and tried! I'm normally an 8 but even the 9 is way too tight/small narrow with regular socks on. So I'm giving up and trying another brand. Also, this 3rd pair I'm returning were definitely worn by someone else. I get that other people try on and return shoes- just when paying 179.00 its nice not to know that. But I'm thankful for Zappos wonderful return policy.
