I say true to size, but know that if you are a 9.5 or even if a 9 is slightly snug, try the 41 NOT the 40. If you get the right size, these are perfect, not too narrow, the heel doesnt slip while you walk. These are like foot butter and way more styling than the photo shows. So, i returned the 40, got the 41 in all things Bernie Mev and every pair is perfect. i

Very comfortable shoes, a little narrow for my foot which is basically a medium width. The left shoe has some kind of bump where the upper and lower meet on inside front of the left shoe which irritates my big toe. I think this is a result of the narrow width, the shoe won't stretch enough to let my toe comfortably rest on the sole. Hopefully, with a few wears this will 'give' a little.

This is the 2nd pair of bernie mev.dreams that I have purchased. I love the fit and they are so comfortable for walking, much more than tennis shoes.

These are so great fit true to size and cute flats with everything. Love these in the gold shade more of a brass.

Love the shoe - very stylish and comfortable. Followed other reviews and bought a larger size. I wear an 8-1/2 W or a 9, but I bought a size 40 (which supposedly is size 10!). Fits snugly, but comfortable. I think your sizing chart needs revision. Otherwise quite pleased with shoes and quick shipping!

I have previously loved BM shoes - these were far too small - wore them around the house for a "trial" period & finally outside & came home with multiple blisters - far less cushion than previous editions of BM shoes

I love these shoes. This is my third pair. I've worn out the other two pair and wear them several times a week. They are so light weight and comfortable.

Love the peep toe and the light gold color which is more neutral than you might think..

These shoes are so comfy! While on vacation my sandals were bothering my problem feet, so I slipped into a shoe store and found these in black. They were cute and I was desperate, but was skeptical that these would get me through the next few days. But, they did! They are stretchy (good for my bunion) but stay well on my feet. They don't provide a lot of support but they are a great go-to shoe that will not pinch or rub your foot. So, I came back to Zappos to buy another pair.

These shoes are great for slipping on and running errands. They do feel snug when you first start wearing them, but they loosen up over time. This pair replaces a pair I bought 2 years ago and I wore them out. They look good with sundresses, slacks or jeans.

Very cute shoe. My foot size is 9.5 and wide - the toe opening in the size 41 was much too small for my foot so they were painful. Otherwise they fit perfectly. Since there is quite a bit of variation in the fit of the Bernie Mev elastic woven shoes another pair may have been better - seems to be the luck of the draw.

Somehow, these just ended up being too tight. I tried my usual size (8-1/2-39) but they were too tight so I was sure that by ordering a 40 it would be fine. But i put them on while I was doing some computer work and within about 15 minutes, part of my foot and toes were semi numb. Somehow, the band across the front of the foot is just too tight for me. I'm so bummed as I wanted these for summer. I typically wear "B" / normal width shoes, so do not have an excessively wide foot - though I don't have a narrow foot either. If you have a narrower foot, will probably work.

Purchased this shoe for walking on a trip I'm taking to a hot climate. I'm hoping the woven material will breathe. Because of the style of a wrap with peep toe the shoe fit my narrow foot (other styles were way too wide). Not much arch support but amazingly comfortable the first time I wore it.

This is a great comfortable shoe. I wanted a sandal that would give some moderate support, and had a sleeker look. And this was it ! I have a narrow foot, and the fit was good. I did have to order a size larger, and then the length was perfect.

I love these shoes so much but they run very small (at least for me) so I am forced to return them.

Generally, it is a nice shoe, except that this pair was defective. The opening on one show was crooked and not symmetrical to the other one. But I ordered another pair and it appears fine.

What has happened to Bernie Mev quality control?! The little bungee cords that form the top of the shoe were so loosely woven that there were big gaps between them. They had to go back!!

I ordered a 39 and in the open toed shoes they fit fine. I am normally an 8.5, but I also ordered these same shoes closed toed and I could tell I would b pushing through the toe with my toenail very quickly. I haven't decided if I am going to reorder the closed toed shoes ii a size larger or not. Open toed, these are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. My other fav's are .

Like the style and material. Excellent fit with an arch/ heel support added. Covered back let’s me put in heel pad while still showing my toes

I have been wearing Bernie mev for years now but only the Catwalk style. The peep toe is cute and the fabric is soft around the toes just like the rest of the shoe. I love these and am excited to wear them to work for spring and summer. I have a wider foot and usually run between a 8 1/2 and 9. The 9 fit perfect. The fabric also comes up high enough on the outside of the foot so it looks nice on a wider foot. No pressure points and no sore feet after a work day wearing these.

The first pair I ordered based on my U.S. size of "9" were too small and rather than return them, I gave them to a friend. I tried again ordering a size "9", thinking the first pair was mismarked. I had to return them. The third time, I ordered a size "10" and they are wonderful. I love these shoes so much. I'm willing to order a size larger.
