I would strongly recommend ordering at least half a size, if not a full size, UP from what you normally wear. I normally wear a 7, ordered the 7.5 and I probably have just enough room to fit some thicker socks in. If you layer socks, it's probably gonna be a bit rough. I bought them because my old boots were leaking, and I wanted to make sure I had boots of good enough quality to last me through MN winters as someone who's not at all outdoors active - so getting to and from the car, waiting for the bus, trudging down sidewalks, shoveling, etc. These boots are wonderful for warmth and I appreciate the snug feeling around my calves. I love the hatched detail on the top cuff. They're very cute and I've gotten a number of compliments on them. They're expensive at nearly $200, but these are going to be great boots that last me a number of years. Once I got them on, I didn't regret it at all. Great boots. Love them, even if I hate winter.

The Whistler boots seem to be a good compromise for me, lighter weight than the classic style Sorel boots like the Caribou, better arch support, good woman’s fit, and more flexible as well. I expect that the Whistlers won’t be as warm as the Caribous with their thick inner boots. However, living in Northern Arizona, I think I won’t have as much need for the super warm inner boots. It’s much easier to walk or even drive in the Whistler boots, and they’re obviously a more attractive, taller boot that should be comfortable in cold rainy weather as well as the moderately cold snowy days we get here. I got these in my usual hiking shoe size 8.5, rather than the size 8 I wear in fashion boots or street shoes. These have a nice slim heel with no slippage but good toe room even with heavy socks. I unlace the very tops and loosen the lower leg to easily get them on and off. They’re fairly expensive even on sale, but I expect to get a lot of use from them.

I love these! I looked for 2 years for snow boots like this. The toe area is leather, no rubber like other snow boots. They look very stylish & are very functional. They are so much better than traditional snow boots, like how most other ones have the big baggy are around the ankle, these do not. I added an insole into them for extra comfort with no problem. I where a 9 & I bought a 9.

Kept my feet mostly warm in very cold Icelandic weather. One night we were in 5-degree Fahrenheit weather and my feet were freezing along with the rest of me. But I wore them daily on the rest of my Iceland trip and felt warm. My feet did not ache at the end of each day after miles of walking. I ordered a dozen cold weather boots for this trip and these were the best.

LOVE these boots! I have the Sorel Joan of Arctic which are a good basic boot but these are hands down the best winter boots I've ever tried on & now own. They're not as wide and bulky as the joan of Arctic, easier to drive in, better support in footbed, ankle and heel. Love the height of the heel, I've got tight achilles and the little heel is perfect. I can fit a power step slender foot orthotic inside and they are so much warmer than the Joan of Arctic. Boots are very nice. They are well made and very warm. The soles are pretty stiff right off the batt and took some getting used to when wearing them to drive in. They are stiff in the mid foot too which makes them feel a little narrow while new, I’m hoping as they wear in they will stretch just a little. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9 to accommodate for the width. Glad I did! Not much in the way of arch support but that didn’t bother me any. You will NOT be disappointed they are well worth the money... already tested them in 9” of snow and my tootsies were warm and dry! Side note I’m 5’5” and they hit me mid calf.

This boot fits like a glove! It seems very warm. Looking forward to the first snowfall to try them out!

First time ordering off of Zappos - so impressed!! Bought these pretty close to Christmas day as a last minute present. They were shipped to me quickly in perfect condition and in the correct size! Very happy :)

I am in love with these boots! They are so cute, yet really durable and functional. I’ve worn them in the rain, the snow, on icy sidewalks, and in the mud. Each time they have protected me from whatever crazy weather is happening, and we’ve all come out looking like a daisy! I usually wear an 8, but ordered the 8.5 because the 8 was out of stock and I figured I’d want to wear bigger socks anyway. I think one of the reviews said to order up, too. Anyway they are a little big, but thicker socks took care of that and I think they might have been too snug in a smaller size.

I usually wear a 5.5, but it was not available, so I tried the 6. It was a little big in the box, but I kept this size for several reasons. First as another reviewer mentioned, this is a tough boot to get on, even with the laces loosened. I don’t know if I could have got it on my foot in a 1/2 size smaller. Also, with heavy socks, the boot feels better in this size. Also, although it is big for me in the toe box, the heel fits nice and snug. I have not worn these in the snow yet, which is the main reason I got them, but they are stylish, well made and seem very warm and hope they are worth the hefty price.

I love this boot, it is lightweight, warm and very comfortable. I have one complaint though, after only wearing them for a week and a half the laces are fraying and need to be replaced, disappointing for the cost of this boot

Narrow in the toe box and slightly difficult to get on even with laces fully loosened. Over all I didn't love them enough for the price.

These are by fair the greatest boots for running your errands in the snow! I loved my black ones so much that I decided to get the camel ones. I really only wished they came in chocolate brown. But, once I used a leather balm lube all over them they darkened up great! My feet never get too cold, or tired. I also use an insole & wool blended socks with them, & my feet are perfectly fit snug in them. I can even run in them, if I need to!

I totally love these because you can slide them off and on AND they are fitted so they aren't slipping around while you are wearing them. SO PERFECT. And they are super cute. I mean they're not Chanel, but the pattern on them is well done, it's not cheesy. I have SUPER narrow feet and these are not falling off me. I don't know how it would be for someone with wide feet....

Awesome boots!

Couldn’t decide between these and the Joan of Artic so ordered both to try on and these were HANDS DOWN the winners. MUCH more comfortable and warmer and would say is a narrower fit than the Joan’s but that is what I needed. Really happy with them!
