Very disappointing. First had to go 1 1/2 sizes larger due to narrowness in toe area. Secondly, I was after warmth. Now maybe it's my expectations but are there any warm, stylist boots out there? Also, wanted waterproof. I think that is OK. But I was out in 21 degree weather for 1 1/2 hours and my feet were frozen when I came in and it took a good 1-2 hours to finally get them warm. Besides that the tongue in the right boot is not smooth so if you go walking it rubs funny. All I can say for them is they are slightly warmer than my last boots. I do not recommend these boots. My friend that was outside with me had on Uggs and at the end of our time her toes were getting cold also.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 shoe. I read to size up so I ordered a size 8. A 9 would have felt good. I returned them because I wanted a boot I could go walking in. These had no cushion I would have felt rocks and ice. They were not comfortable either. Cute though!

I love the look of these boots so much, I so wanted them to fit, but they just don't, as I've tried various sizes. I have a wide foot and these aren't the fit for me :-(. The search continues for an all round winter bootie with some style.

These are really cute and I wanted to like them but yes they are really small - the toe bed is very narrow - I had room in the length but they were so narrow it was uncomfortable and I don't really have wide feet so it was really strange.

Based on customer reviews, I ordered these boots a full size larger than I normally take in Sorel boots. Even the larger size was far too small. Cautionary note for others: consider ordering pairs in a couple of sizes.

Disappointed in the sizing. I wear a 9, but need a 10 in this. Not reordering.

Wow, these were too tight and way too small. Granted, I’m wearing thicker winter socks but that’s what you do when you live in the snow belt. I’m not sure if the style is worth me trying on a size 9 (ordered one-half size up based on previous reviews) because the width feels so tight. When did Sorels become so narrow? They look super cute and sadly they are going back.

This is the second pair or Sorel I have purchased in the past year. The first was so small and I ordered larger. This pair I went another 1/2 up and they are being returned too. Way too small. I wish Sorel would get the sizing to match normal sizing

I ordered these boots three times attempting to obtain the correct size because I wanted to love them. I ordered a 4th time to change color because I felt the gray color was more like a silver and much to easy to show dirt. The boot has little support around the foot bed and it not only looked sloppy it was something that would cause the boot to break down around the inside arch. Boot is a good style with extremely poor execution.

Normally 6.5 and shouldn’t have sized up to 7. They’re super cute but not comfortable. Even if they were the right size, I don’t think it would make a huge difference with how hard and flat the footbed is. Kept my toes pretty warm tho.

The run really small. Had to return them.

Item arrived with defect. Rip at the seams of the toe pieces. Made for a bad Christmas present. At these prices I don't expect this to happen.

Cute boots but did not feel comfortable on my feet. Normally I wear a 9B or 9W in street shoes but in boots I have been wearing a 9.5 B or more often a 9.5W. I ordered the Joan Explorer in a 9.5 but maybe a 10 would've been better length-wise. The toe box seemed narrow, too. What made me decide to return them was the innersole--it felt lumpy and the innersole in the forefoot was hard even though I tried on these boots with a medium thick sock, one I'd wear for hiking. Although I have thick ankles the shaft on these boots was soft and flexible.

I love the style of these but I am so disappointed by how narrow they run. I even tried sizing up more than I ever have but they were still too narrow. I have never had to buy wide fit shoes but I sure wish that was an option here so that I could keep these shoes.

They run very small, I'm 8 1/2 and I couldn't get my foot into the boot. Pretty but small... very disappointed. Couldn't really tell if they were comfortable since I couldn't get my foot all the way in...They are pretty but they need to fit...

I normally wear a size 8 shoe. Own other Sorel boots- one pair is size 8 and very large and the other ran small so I own an 8.5. I ordered this boot in both size 8 and 8.5. They're incredibly small- even the 8.5 doesn't fit with a regular weight sock! Very disappointed. I wish Sorel was more consistent with their sizing. I'm grateful I can return both pairs.
