These boots are great for walking around. I go to a rather large university and I'm constantly walking and these are extremely comfortable and they keep me warm. Regarding sizing, I am typically an 8 in all sorts of shoes and I ordered these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. However, if you wear thick socks (I do not) I would definitely consider sizing up. Something else worth noting is that the top of the boot is quite snug so just beware on how you want your boot to fit. If you don't mind the tightness by the top of your feet, then by all means purchase the boot but if that is something you do not want, stay away at all costs. One last thing to note is that I bought the boots in the color Ancient Fossil and they are very accurately represented on the website.

Honestly I don't write many reviews. I have worn Sorel boots for many years-I probably have 8 pairs ranging between booties, wedge and winter boots and a pair of sandals. I had to write a review for these-they're amazing. I always order 1/2 size up for Sorel and that was true for these as well. THEY ARE MY NEW FAVORITE BOOTS. I wore them for the first time today-had them on for 8 hours and they are so comfortable!! I love them. I bought the camel/gray and love the color combo...got many compliments! Highly recommend.

These are so well made like all Sorel boots. They are really warm and comfortable. I love the texture on these and combination of colors. Super stylish

I love these boots, cute but still comfy! You can wear them out running errands because they feel like tennis shoes or to keep you warm at the hockey rink! I've gotten so many compliments that it makes me want to get another pair!

I always go up a 1/2 size with sorels. They are so comfortable and I receive so many compliments when wearing them! I wear them to work which I stand all day long and then I come home and walk the dogs in them! Perfect fall boot.

Very stylish and comfortable. I ordered a half size up after reading other reviews. Many said order a whole size up, but a half size up was perfect! I normally wear a 9, but ordered a 9.5.

I got my shoes today and they are lightweight and super cute! I went with the Coal color and I would say they are grey with the very slightest hint of green. However, this is leather so variation in color is to be expected. Regarding size, I have worn a 7 in other Sorel products, but lately, in other shoe brands, I have been wearing a 7.5. I decided to go 7.5 with these boots and I am glad I did. The 7 would have been too small. I would say these fit true to size for me, but if you want to wear chunky socks I would def size up a bit.

I got the Burro color in a size 8 1/2 and I'm usually a 7/8, the boots fit just right! If I bought the size 8 it would of been too small. Nonetheless the color looks great and I love the style!

Love this boot! It is so warm and comfortable. Received them and wore them the next night to a bond fire. The boots do run slightly small, ordered a half size up and they just fit. Can wear a regular or slightly thick pair of socks and they still fit (i.e: I wear a 9 and purchased a 9.5). They deff run smaller than the Joan of Arctic boots. So happy I purchased these. Even after reading all reviews.

Definitely run small. I always wear size 7.5 in every brand and have room to wiggle and wear socks. These boots however were tight. I didn't wear them around the house so I'm not sure if they stretch. I ordered an 8 (which I've never worn in my life) and they fit with some room to wear thick socks. They are super comfortable, warm, soft and a nice looking boot.
