These boots are comfortable and lightweight. They run a bit small. For regular socks you need a half size larger. If you will wear really heavy socks get a whole size larger. They are warm so far, but it hasn't been below 0 yet. They are very nice casual footwear.

Overall the boot is warm and comfortable. I got them for walking my dog outside during the cold weather. I did size up a 1/2 size and it was perfect.

Comfy and cozy. Once I sized up half a size, the fit was just right.

So comfortable. Great to slip on. And I’m about to order another pair.

Love these boots! Ordered a whole size larger after reading the reviews and they were too big. Sent back for a 1/2 size larger and they are perfect. I don’t like the look of bulky winter boots so these are exactly what I was looking for. They will look cute with jeans or dresses and fleece tights with socks. Excited to wear them all winter!

Even though I did give a five star review (I love the shoes) I did take advice from ones who had previously purchased the shoes and ordered a half size up (normally wear a nine but purchased a nine and a half). The shoes did fit perfectly so even though I put 'felt true to size'-they were true to size ordering a half size up. They are super cute and warm! I am very pleased with them!

I am typically a size 9, but did size up half a size to 9.5 based on other reviews, and they fit great. These boots are really stylish, yet practical for winter.

Based on reviews I ordered half a size up and the fit was perfect! They are like wearing the most comfortable sneakers. Looking forward to putting some miles on theses shoes this winter!

My Sorel Joan of Arctic’s are a 9.5. I needed a 10.5 in these. Definitely size up.

I'm usually a size 8 in almost any brand, but after reading the reviews I decided to go up one whole size. I ordered these in size 9 and they're the perfect fit! Super comfy with thin socks but also, plenty of space for thick socks. Very happy with my purchase!

This boot is really cute and generally comfortable though slightly snug in the toe box. I ordered up a half size. I generally have a narrow foot.

I live in a city (NE/Mid-Atlantic) with no off leash dog parks and a 2 year old German Shepherd. I was in dire need of a pair of shoes that provided optimal winter warmth, but weren't too chunky/heavy and had a tread much closer to a sneaker. We walk 2.5 to 5 miles *every day.* Lo and behold... The Explorer Joan from Sorel has been the perfect shoe for this exact purpose. They're very easy to slip on to just go out for pee runs and similarly take no extra effort to lace up before going for a walk. I haven't been able to use them in sub freezing weather, so I can only speak to experiences wearing regular thickness socks. I'm not sure if thicker socks would fit as well, but I don't know if they would be necessary unless you live in extremely cold parts of the US. These shoes are a 10/10 in my book. I will absolutely be purchasing another pair after wearing this pair into the ground.

Per the reviews, I opted for a half size larger. I’m a 7.5 in most shoes, 8 in tennis shoes. So I ordered an 8.5 in these boots and they are perfect.

I am 5,5 is sandals and High heels and 6 in Boots. i ordered the 6,5 and they were half a size too big for me even with thicker socks. Returning for the 6 otherwise it’s a beautiful bootie

Those boots are very comfortable. However I had to size up an entire size to be able to wear them with any kind of sock.

I typically wear a size 10. After reading the reviews I ordered a 10 and a 10 1/2. Glad I did, because the 10 was too snug. Nice and comfortable winter boot. ?????
