I ordered the Sorel Kinetic Boot in my regular boot size 11 & have to say they fit with plenty of room for thick socks. My athletic shoes are 10 1/2 & I've always learned to go up 1/2 size with Sorel Boots. I had the short Kinetic boot in black & love them but this boot is higher up on the leg, meaning I have more warmth & protection from cold or rainy weather. I'm sure they are good for snow, but on the coast there's not much of that. The upper boot is a soft type of leather/material that feels kinda like it's a very light quilted in feel. The top also has a corded pull at the top to adjust as needed if you want the boot to to have a more closer leg fit. It's very secure. I could not find one single negative about this style boot. All good. I went with the black color because it goes with everything. The chrome/tan color? I didn't see it as being an all around color for matching anything except in that color range. I'm happy with this boot & highly recommend. Arch support, toe box room, width are more than adequate for comfort. Love this boot & Sorel.

Ordered 1/2 and a whole size up and kept the full-size up. Perfect — easier to get out of too

I ordered a half size up and this was a good choice. Fits but just so (no extra room for big socks or orthotic). That being said, they keep my feet warm, are light, and good in snow up to 4 inches or so. These are moon boots a la 2019 (they won't increase your curb appeal) but they are awesome for cold weather, snow, and walking about. The laces allow you to firmly attach them to your feet. I have no trouble getting them on as others have mentioned.

These are the absolute CUTEST COOLEST CHICEST TRENDIEST and FUN snowboots ever!!! Beyond cute.... while I haven't actually worn them in the SNOW yet.... they feel warm and they are very comfortable. They say waterproof and impermeable so hoping those claims are true! All that said, at first I ordered a half size up BUT.... I recommend you order a FULL SIZE up! I'm always a 6.5 but had to return the size 7 bc it was too snug... the 7.5 fit much more comfortably! Also, need to squish these down to get your foot in.... At the same time that I ordered these, I also ordered a KEEN waterproof boot that was equally if not more comfortable, easier to get on on and off and likely MORE waterproof.... that said, in this case, I went for style and look over overall function.... just bc they are just so cute on!

I absolutely LOVE these boots. They are a great mix of style and function. They are very comfortable and warm, and they have not gotten dirty despite some pretty muddy endeavors. Even in the red Georgia dirt - although it only got on the sole and I rinsed off once I got home. Absolutely no problem rinsing it off the rubber sole. I am pleasantly surprised at how warm they actually are - I have had other shoes that seem to allow the cold to enter over time, but I can honestly say I have worn these for long periods of time outdoors in around 30 degree temps and my feet stay warm the entire time. Best part is they are cruelty-free and contain no animal products. There is absolutely no reason to use animal products with today’s technology. I love it!

Had to size up half a size, but now they are perfect! I got the wedge version for Xmass too and they are both gorg!

My go to boots have always been Sorel, and they've always fit very true to size. For the Kinetics, however, I feel like the soft uppers make it harder to get them on, and they are definitely a half size smaller than typical. I bought the Sorel Kinetic sneakers at the same time and they are perfect. Do yourself a favor and size up for sure!

Love the boots but I'm glad that I read previous reviews for them. I usually wear a 7.5 but others that wear the same size had to go up to an 8. So true. I ordered an 8 and they are perfect!

Love this boot. It’s very warm and looks good with my workout clothes or jeans. Super comfy to walk around in, as well. I originally ordered a 7.5, which I have other Sorel boots in, but I had to return these for an 8.

I originally purchased these in my usual size, 7.5, but my toes were right at the front of the boot. I like to wear thick socks in the winter, so I ordered a half size up, and they fit very comfortably. They look super cute, and feel like a sneaker. They’re very lightweight, which is something I look for in a winter boot. They fit snugly around my calf, and have a cushy liner, so I think they’ll keep my feet warm and dry this winter. I’m a huge fan of Sorel, and these definitely did not disappoint!

Love my new boots but I should have purchased only a 1/2 size bigger not a full size. Please, please listen to me: buy a 1/2 size up NOT a full size. I am a true size 9 in every brand I wear (and I have a lot of shoes). My heels slide around too much in the size 10 and if I wear two pairs of socks the boot is too snug over the top of my foot to be comfortable. I live in Minnesota and have a ton of experience in wearing boots (and wearing thick socks), so take it from a winter boot wearer with Level: Expert experience: go a 1/2 size up - NO MORE! Luckily the laces allow me snug up the boots. And I would have given 5 stars across the board if I had a better fit.

These boots were cushy, warm and very comfortable. The fit was fairly true to size. The white tread is deep. They would make a great recreational snow boot, I think. I returned only because they were too sporty for my needs.

As the other reviews stated , runs small. Also the shaft is tight . You need skinny calf’s for this boot . Love the style and super light . Wore them all day in cold rain and were great !

Lightweight, stylish. I appreciate that they had removable insole. I found these too narrow in the forefoot, however, and so had to return. THis may be why they looked so stylish, but meant they were not comfortable enough for longer walks.

The foot portion is amazingly comfortable. The shaft is so skinny they are hard to get into and out of. I have skinny feet and ankles and it was a lot of tugging to get in. Loved the style but had to return due to the difficulties getting them on. I really wanted these to work. Love Zappos!
