Definitely go a half size up. Doing that made the fit perfect for both thin and thick socks. If you need arch support, this isn’t the boot for you. I love how they feel though and walking with no arch support doesn’t bother my feet at all. Love the look. I have wider calves and they still worked well without making my calves look awkwardly large. Well made.

I bought a half size up as recommended by other reviews and it fit perfectly. This boot will keep your foot dry but not warm. It is like a giant rubber sock so once the rubber is cold, so is your foot. The front kind of makes my toes go up so maybe once I break them in some more that won't be an issue. There is zero support and can basically fold bottom in half because it is just rubber. I will be buying some cheap support insoles to put in. It does exactly as described. Keeps your feet dry in wet/snowy weather and overall, I am pleased.

This is a cute boot, but it is a little boring in the grey color. Functional and warm.

These are cute boots. I usually wear between a 91/2 to a 10. In sneakers I am a 10. I tried these in a 91/2 and they were too tight. They also seemed a little wide to me but my feet are on the narrow side.

I’ve been looking for a classic boot to wear in light snow/cold weather. I have trendier shoes for wearing out to dinner, but these are going to be my go-to for walking and playing with the kids in the snow. I love how slim these are compared to most Sorel snow boots.

I have long, narrow feet and these hugged my feet better than most boots (where I find the toe box much too roomy). I usually wear 10, and unfortunately found the 10.5 rubbed the end of my toe so had to go with something else. I loved the duck-boot look of these and the fleecy lining in the upper which made them feel super cozy. Perfect for casual winter hikes in the not-so-snowy Pacific Northwest. I ended up getting Sorel’s Joan of Arctic which were a perfect fit size 10.5 and a bit taller than these.

The boot was small. I loved it, though! The band across the top of the foot where the leather meets the rubber presses into the top of my foot. I think a half size bigger would be perfect. I would have reordered a 9.5 if they had had it.

I love these boots! The name says it all they're light weight, perfect for running in & out, & very stylish. I will say they run a bit small I recommend sizing up 1/2 a size. I made the mistake of purchasing my size 7, they were too small then returned for size 8, way too big. I'm happy with a 7 1/2 :)

I LOVE the style of these. I live in the Pacific Northwest and wanted a warm boot that could handle snow AND rain (since here we get mostly rain). The duck boot style really appealed to me—a solid piece of rubber covering the toe bed giving me more confidence about its performance in rain than styles with suede and stitching over the toe bed. I wear a 10 normally and have narrow feet, but unfortunately the largest size available (10.5) still rubbed the end of my toes. The toe box felt a bit small or snug in comparison to other boots, but it didn’t bother my narrow feet.

I normally wear a 9.5 in shoes and have another pair of Sorel boots that are a 10 and very roomy. I ordered a 9.5, 10, and 10.5 and had to keep the largest size. Great color, kept my feet very warm while walking through inches of snow.

I’m a true 7 on the wider side. I ordered a 7 and 7.5 based on other reviews. The 7 was too snug but the length felt right. The 7.5 slips a little but was more comfortable all around and I can also wear with some heavier socks since I don’t think the shoe itself will provide that much warmth. On a side note, the size 7 pair had obviously been returned as the tissue paper was all torn and the cardboard piece inside had a bunch of grease stains on it which were pretty gross. Even if the 7 fit, I would have exchanged for a fresh pair. Hope Zappos steps it up a bit on quality control.

Got these for the snow so I did see from other reviews that they didn’t keep their feet that warm for longer periods but I bought a 1/2 size up from my normal size (I am usually a size 7)—they run small anyway but the 1/2 size up works well for me with thicker, warm socks. I like the fit and they are really comfortable. I tired several different styles before selecting these and I’m keeping them.

These boots are very cute and seem high quality, but they definitely run small, both in length and what I guess you'd call the "depth" of the boot. I'm usually a 6.5 and sometimes a 6, and the 6.5 was both too short and I found that the seam between the leather and the rubber cut into my foot. So I returned rather than going up a size. Because even with more length, I don't think they'd accommodate a thicker winter sock.

These boots are comfortable, true to size, and very attractive. The problem I have with them is that I have almost fallen twice in very light snow going down a small recline. They have little traction, and my feet were cold after an hour of temperatures in the mid 30s. I think they are more of a rain boot.

Im keeping them because wanted waterproof boots for snow shoeing The size differences between 10, 10 1/2, and 11 was barely imperceptible.....The toe box area small .......I'm so unclear on what size to order for any given shoe/ boot style that I start with a 10 and go from there..the bennys of shopping with Zappos is the relative ease of being able to do this... shipping back and forth is free

Actually, I think they run about 1/4 size small.I can only wear them with a thin sock before my toes get too crunched. Nevertheless, they are comfortable and warm enough to wear for daily chores going in and out of stores and whatnot. I'd order up a size just to be safe, though.

I am returning these boots because the sole material does grip well on ice - very slippery. I live in the northeast and we get ice AND snow in the winter. I'm unwilling to risk slipping and injuring myself.

These boots are very stylish. Cute choice if you have light snow. However I felt there wasn’t much insulation in the foot, where the rubber of the boots are so I sent them back and will choose a warmer option. I would order a 1/2 size bigger if I were to keep these.

Really liked the look of the boot Ordered normal size of 6 1/2 felt tight especially on toes. I live in Minnesota thick socks, this would not work. Used Zappos excellent return process. Received size 7 next day and return credit as soon as I dropped boots at UPS. The size up feels great.

I was looking for a snow boot that wasn't clunky for running errands on a messy/cold day. Most of the slim fitting/waterproof boots had no insulation, but I still wanted to be warm. These fit my criteria and are great - I can feel a bit of chill through the boots some days, bit for the most part, my feet are nice and warm warm in them! I might not wear them to shovel in bigger snowfalls (thats what the clunky boots are for!), but I will wear these on a more regular basis. The only downfall is that in ankle socks, there is a spot on my left ankle that keeps rubbing to the point where I have a scab from it. No matter how I re-adjust the tongue, it keeps rubbing. I contacted Zappos and they were very awesome about sending a replacement pair....so hopefully those will be better!

Ooh I should not have listened to the one review that said DON'T go up a size, ugh. They are indeed about a size smaller than your normal sneaker size. And a half size smaller than my normal boots/Sorel size. I can't speak for longevity but they are indeed CUTE and comfy. More narrow than some Sorels which make your feet look wide and silly. These are great! Go up a full size from your normal sneaker size though. I'm a sneaker size 8.5 and a Sorel boot size 9, to wear with socks.. and I need a 9.5 in these.

Love them! What they're good for: Exactly what the name suggests -being out and about, errands around town, etc. I wear these when I walk around Denver in the snowy weather. I have walked for miles at a time in the city in these and they keep my feet dry and warm. They are pretty flat on the bottom so I might get some inserts in them to give more arch support. The tread isn't as heavy duty as other Sorels I have owned so I have slipped a couple times but overall the tread is OK. What they're NOT good for: Deep snow, long periods of standing outside, extremely cold climates. I wore them at work at night where I had to stand without moving much outside on concrete for hours at at time and my feet were SO COLD even with two pairs of wool socks on… so they're not the shoe for extended periods of time standing outside. I had hoped to maybe do some light snowshoeing in them but probably not. Overall, I was looking for a nice looking, light, waterproof and insulated boot to wear around town in winter. They are perfect for exactly that!! A lot of other boots are too heavy and bulky and I felt like I was walking around in ski boots! I'm normally a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I have fairly small, medium width feet.
