Overall, I love these! For running errands or short periods of time outside, I would recommend. I never tied them. I love the style and was looking for a pair that wasn’t clunky/heavy. These did not keep my feet warm enough in the Minnesota snow and cold. From shoveling in 3 degree weather to playing with kids in 35 degree weather, my toes were frozen almost right away. If you are looking for warmth, these are not it. Looking for cute and not clunky, these are it!

Love the look of these boots but 3 weeks in the rubber sole began to separate from where it meets the leather all around the shoe.

90% of the time I wear a size 9. If things run small I wear a 9 1/2. I wear a 9 1/2 in the Sorel Slimpack Tall boot so I ordered that size here. Had to send them back for a 10 as my toe was right at the end. 10s are perfect! Comfortable immediately and tie them loose so I can slip in and out of them easily. I live in Chicago so it gets cold. This morning was -25 windchill and I wore them to walk my daughter the 3 blocks to school. I could feel the cold seeping in a bit by the time I got home, but felt ok enough to take the dog around the block quick. As long as you're moving and have warm socks you're fine, but these would probably not be my go-to gonna-be-out-in-the-cold-for-a-long-time boot. But they do the trick for my quick cold weather outings. I've even worn them without socks for outings on warmer days than today when I'm too lazy to get socks on.

Love these boots. I went up a size because of other reviews. I'm usually a 10 but bought a 10.5 and they work great. I've used them for cold, wet days and they've kept my feet toasty warm and dry so far!

So comfy. So cute. So perfect. Exactly what i wanted. Ordered 1/2 size different from my usual and fits perfect. 2nd pair of Sorels and they never disappoint! Easy on. Easy off. Comfy. Warm.

These boots are so warm and so cute! Exactly what I was looking for! Based on all the other reviews and almost every one of them claiming they ran small, I wanted to order an 8.5 as I am usually a 7.5 or 8 (most often an 8 due to my wide feet, thanks goes to having 2 babies and my feet spreading...it's a thing, a real thing). But they were out of the 8.5 :( I took a chance and ordered an 8 with my fingers crossed. To my surprise, they were not too small! In fact, they fit great. I'm actually surprised at some of the reviews where people claimed that going a whole size up wasn't enough?? I will be honest though, they are a little snug in one area, right where the leather upper meets the rubber on the top of the foot...but I feel that my feet are exceptionally wide so I don't know that that is really going to be a factor for someone else... so maybe they run slightly narrow but again, maybe that's just bc my foot is wider than most. But it isn't so snug that I need to return them, I'm keeping them for sure! Can't wait to where them out and about in snowy, frigid Colorado ?? Also, as always, Zappos customer service is top-notch, ordering and shipping is fast and painless. Their return policy is rad. Thanks Zappos!

I really wanted to like these boots. From other reviews, I ordered a whole size bigger than my normal size which turned out to be good advice. I wore these out in the snow and could not climb up a small hill in these. There was no traction and I was sliding all over the place. Sadly, I have to return them.

I only purchased these because I wanted an inexpensive pair of boots to run to the store in, go to the movies, etc, that were cute. I like Sorels so while browsing, I saw these. Not only were they on sale, but were an additional 20% off (New Year's deal). I live in Chicago, but I’m not one to hang out in the snow, so having really warm boots wasn’t a concern. I wanted more of a Sperry/rain/slush kind of boot I could wear in melting snow & mud puddles. So these seemed to fit my needs, and they’re cute on as well. A bit narrow, but not an issue for me. And easy on/easy off.....but I must say: LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWERS!! These DO RUN SMALL! I’m a solid 8 and they were tight. I had ordered the 8 1/2 & 9 sizes too. The 8 1/2 fit great barefoot (how I like to wear my boots) but a bit snug with socks; however, the 9s were a “bit” big barefoot, but fit with socks. I noticed that my heel lifted in the 9s (a sign a shoe is too big), plus the size 9 looked a lot bigger and I didn’t like that. So I re-tried the 8 1/2s on, and realized, yes, these overall are better. Hope this helps anyone who’s wondering what size to get!

What wizardry does Zappos possess?? I ordered this less than 24 hours ago, and BAM...they're here! I was anxious to try them on because I did order a half size bigger after reading reviews. The reviews are right! They fit perfectly (and I tried them on with medium thick socks,,, If you wear super thick socks, go a whole size larger than usual.) I LOVE them...not clunky or heavy...perfect in every way. Tiny detail...I'd like the laces a little more substantial and longer. But other than that, can't find any faults. Really great boot!

Love these boots! I was looking for something waterproof that felt more like wearing sneakers than usual heavy snow boots. Granted, I don’t spend much time trekking through large amounts of snow, so for light-moderate snow these are a safe bet. I’m normally a 7 1/2-8, but decided to order up after reading other reviews recommending to do so. I ordered an 8 1/2 to be safe since I wanted to be able to wear thick fuzzy socks, and they fit great. The boot isn’t wool liked like I assumed, just the top is, so thick socks are definitely needed, otherwise your feet will freeze against the rubber toe. I didn’t have any trouble walking across icy parking lots or sidewalks, so I think the traction is pretty good. Overall, I definitely recommend these for anyone looking for cute lightweight boots for moderate snow wear.

These boots fit perfectly right out of the box!! I love the style and there really cozy! ! I always buy from Zappo's because they never do me wrong it's the only place I shop for shoes coats and other accessories thank yous apples

These are incredibly cute, and easy to slip on and off. Super lightweight and comfy. If you are looking for something to keep your feet warm in really cold weather, these are not that. They aren't super warm, more for running errands and looking cute. Definitely order a full size up from what you normally wear. I'm in love with these.

I researched a good boot to take on a Ski trip to CO for months. I tried several other Sorel styles and finally ended up with this one— and love it! Received lots of compliments during my vacation in a ski village. I did end up having to return to get bigger size (usually a 6.5/7 and ended with a 7.5 — have never been a 7.5 in a shoe before :) the customer service and free 1 day shipping at Zappos is incredible and makes shoe shopping so easy!!

I read all of the reviews on these boots and was definitely confused and indecisive about ordering them. So I decided to go with my instinct and order anyway despite some of the reviews.... I ordered in my regular size (8). I usually run between a 7.5/8 and usually just order an 8. Despite all the comments to order bigger. I have a narrow foot and just followed the Zappos fit guide. I'm glad I did. Because they fit perfectly.... I think the rubber at the toes just feels weird and I just put on a fluffy pair of socks and they felt great. They are super cute and I'm very happy with them. I wore them to work and they were very comfortable. I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about purchasing.

These are cute, but were a bit of a challenge to take on and off.

If I could give this purchase a zero I would! I purchased these as a Christmas gift and went to open them. They were USED. Full of cat and dog hair. Scruff marks and a black spot as well.. and all I think of was, umm how could I not notice this? Not to mention, they aren’t the same lace up pictured. They were the tie version. So disappointed.

I love how the material feels light yet very warm. I had to exchange for a larger size because it felt too small in length.

It looked great and sizing right. My problem is the gusset at the point where tongue and shoe meet. It was bunchy and would not lay flat so it rubbed erratically on my foot. Also one side of the lining was bunchy and sticking out the lace area.

The boots were great looking but too small and narrow in the foot bed. Where the rubber part meets the suede part, there is a line and you can feel it on the top of your foot. The boot is stylish but I will be returning them for something more comfortable.

These boots are awesome, but run very small. I normally wear an 8 and after 2 exchanges ended fitting into a 9.

I ordered a half size up because of the other reviews. At that time they didn’t have a full size up in stock. I really regret not waiting because they are just too tight to be comfortable even with super thin socks.

I am always a 10 in Sorel. These were much tighter than any pair I've had in the past. After wearing them fir a couple hours around the house you could see the spot where my big toe was pushing up.

My foot is *slightly* wide with a narrow heel. I usually wear an 8 in most shoes & boots, always having trouble finding something that isn't too narrow in the toe box and doesn't slip at the heel. I've tried other Sorel boots and 8.5 fit nicely. Ordered the 8.5 in these and was surprised they were too small in the length! The width was fine and my heel didn't slip, but my poor toes were pressed up to the very end! I may try a 9.

So disappointed in these boots. Got them for Christmas and the first time I went for a walk in the snow my toes got wet after only a block!!
