I initially ordered the 8 1/2–I am an 8 1/2 in every pair of Sorels I own. That being said the 8 1/2 was WAY too small. I had to size up to a 9 and those were a much better fit. Size up!!

These boots were really light weight and nicely made. I really liked them, but the 9.5 was a bit too short so I returned them and ordered a size 10. I hope the size 10's fit because I really wanted a boot that had good traction, some support, and were waterproof to keep my feet dry when I am out in dew covered grass in the mornings looking after my livestock.

The fit is decent. They do slip in the back a little and not much support. They are really cute though and comfortable enough to keep.

Great fit for me - I have wider feet. Comfortable, but probably not for long distance. Good for rainy or muddy days, but not warm enough for winter days in Michigan. They are cute!

I ordered them in 7 and had to return them because my toes hit the front of the show. 7.5 were perfect. I have narrow to regular feet. They feel super grippie with moderate support, comfort, and minimal lining. Bought them as a casual booty due to all the rain we are having in the South. They should do just fine in that role. These are NOT a hiking boot or a walking one. Sorel has other styles for that.

Super cute but didn’t love the black. I own them in the grey/tan and they are my favorite by far. Very comfortable and keep my feet warm. Definitely order a size up especially if you are gong to wear thicker socks.

In boots i am between an 8 and 8.5 ... after reading some of the reviews I ordered an 8 but when I tried them on the right boot seemed to be a tad short (but I have had that problem before with size 8). Ordered an 8.5 and printed a return label for the 8. With Zappos $0 return and quick delivery I can still have boots for my weekend trip.

While my other Sorels have always been true to size, these are just as others have said- on the small side. I ordered a womens 12 and they feel like 11 or 11.5. Definitely a thin sock needed. What they lack in room, they make up for in style! Great to muck about in slush or rain! If you have trouble pulling on boots, this particular style has a deconstructed area above the heel area- rather soft- which for some could be cumbersome. Overall, great boot, however size and support miss the mark.

I took everyone’s advice and ordered a half size larger than I would normally wear in Sorel. I originally bought the 9 1/2 but it felt very tight around the width and around the instep area. I exchanged for a size 10 I bought the charcoal color and I absolutely love it. It has no arch support but that’s easily fixed with another shoe insert. I’m happy with my purchase.

Order a half size up! I’m normally 9 1/2 in Sorels, but the 9 1/2 in this style was tight and felt narrow around the front of my toes. The 10 was a better fit, but I would NOT wear them with thick socks. They keep my feet warm with regular socks. I live in Central Texas, so there’s so need to wear thick socks during our moderate winters. I’m glad I bought them.

I ordered a half size up based on reviews and they fit perfectly. These boots are so comfortable, but I didn't realize that the sole would be so thin. I'd prefer a little more cushion, but love them overall.

Nice style. But not very comfortable, needs more arch support and cushioning. And I prefer the feel of a little bit of heel, if only 3/4 “.

They have a little arch support, but not enough so I returned them.

I bought the Elk color leather version while it was on sale. Let me set the sizing straight. I'm usually a 6.5 but often go down to a 6. I got a 6.5 and it's great. I'm not wearing the worlds thickest socks, but still a 7 would be way too big. If you're a 6.5 and often go to a 7, I go with 7. Go with your larger size basically. I LOVE these shoes. My leather came in a little scratched on one side but it's so small I didn't care much. They don't offer much support, but I don't really need it. The insole is pretty flat so keep that in mind. Haven't tried them in heavy rain but so far so good. People also seem to have a problem with the bottom rubber and how it looks "messy" sometimes. Every pair of Sorels will have a slight difference in the bottom rubber. The leather options will obviously feel stiffer at first than the cloth versions. Anyway these are my favorite pair I own, I'm now in love with Sorel!

These are very nice boots and I have multiple friends that love them. Sadly, I have a wide width foot and they didn't work for me, but that's not the shoes fault. I had to return them.
