The fit was great but the minute I walked around with them on, there is no padding in the soles. It was like walking in a thick sock on bare floor. These will be returned. For the price, the quality was very disappointing.

I ordered an 8 which I typically wear. I ended up exchanging them for an 8.5.

Size 8 fits perfectly even with thick socks. Shoes are lightweight and very comfortable.

These are comfortable boot great for rainy or slushy weather. They don’t have a really warm lining so I’m not so sure they would be good for really cold weather, but they’re fine for where I live in Maryland.

Just a little too small for me so I went up a half size. (Ordered a 9, usually weare a 8.5 or a 9) Excited to see how they will do in the snow for warmth. Love the style and even thought I don't think the comfort is there they are way too cute to let go!

I love these boots! I normally wear size 9 but went up to 9 1\2 to allow for the lining. They are perfect. The entire boot is lined (not always the case with some). As noted by other reviewers there is absolutely no support but my orthotics for in easily.

The boots were slightly pinching on the toes. Other than that, it is a great boot. Don't expect warmth. There is no lining. It is simply a rain/mud boot. Not built for snow.

I usually wear an 8.5 size shoe and originally ordered 1/2 size up (size 9) as suggested from the reviews, but my toe felt squished in the shoe. I debated ordering a full size up (size 9.5) and decided to try it and it fits perfectly. I'm not sure for the cost if this is a good purchase, but the shoe is cute, it makes my foot look a size smaller, and seems comfy so far.

Full disclosure: haven't worn these (Out 'N About) around yet, but I've had another style of Sorel duck boots (Slimpack II Lace) for almost three years and can comment on the similarities, which may help answer some of the questions about these I have seen. I ordered one of the felt styles of the Out 'N About duck boots. The felt version has some wool-like material lining the top two inches or so and the rest of the lining is microfleece, exactly like the Slimpack boots. Slimpack is rated for light snow, and they have been my primary casual shoe for the last two Anchorage winters, so I would reason the *felt* version of Out 'N About is a reasonable shoe for casual winter use. For prolonged time in the cold or deep snow, I would strongly recommend a proper snow boot. So, walking a few blocks: sure. Walking a couple of miles: no. (It seems the leather version does not have the wool or the microfleece and would be better for fall or warmer climates.) Sizing of the Sorel duck boots is a little off. I ordered Out 'N About in the same size as Slimpack and they fit exactly the same, so at least the sizing is consistent between different styles of Sorel duck boots. However, I had an adventure getting the right size of Slimpacks three years ago. I normally wear a 7 or a 7.5 and originally ordered a 7.5. I could barely cram my foot into it. They were so small I panicked and sized all the way up to 8.5, which of course was waaaaaay too big. I finally got the 8s, and these fit perfectly. I can wear wool socks and still wiggle my toes and have a thumb width of space at the end for comfort. So I guess they run a half size to a full size small, but I still find it odd that the 8s are nice and roomy when the 7.5s made me feel a bit like Cinderella's stepsisters. Maybe the smaller sizes run smaller than the larger sizes or the half sizes run smaller than the whole sizes.

I really wanted to like these boots ! I have very challenged and wide feet. The stitching hit the top part of my foot which made it very hard to walk. And they look cute in the picture but when you wear a size 10 shoe the last thing I need is for my feet to look like Frankenstein !! I need an ankle durable boot but unfortunately this wasn’t it so ... it has to be returned ! Zappos ... keep doing what you are doing ... I’ve been a VIP for about 12 years and if it weren’t for you and your great customer service and selection I would be walking around barefoot !!! Stay Safe and Well !!

Returned... twice. I tried these on at my local REI but in the brown/tan and found the 8 fit perfectly (my normal size). I ordered the 8 on Zappos in natural tan (the color I wanted) and my toes were jammed into the shoe so this told me the manufacturer is not consistent with this particular style. I exchanged for an 8.5 and didn’t like how it felt.. too big on my left and slightly large on my right. Also when I walked my feet would slide so my toes jammed into the front yet again. The 8.5 looked like duck shoes and were bulky, not cute like the 8’s. I normally never have an issue with Zappos however the second pair arrived in terrible condition! For $120 shoes you would expect a little more care. See pics below. The suede part was scraped up, the felt sides were all wrinkled like someone with a huge ankle tried to put them on and the soles had some debris like they had been worn for a few hours. I’m very disappointed with Zappos for not catching this before sending it out. They are always great if you have an issue but you’d think they have people to look at the products before packaging them?

These were perfect for rainy walks. Just a warning though these were NOT great on ice, very slippery.

Great, comfortable shoes

These are incredibly light but very warm and great for wintry Midwest weather. I do wish they had a bit more support as I have flat feet and am an overpronator, but the fact that I can wear these comfortably all day is outstanding.

Love these boots! Alas...they are too small, even though I ordered a half size up (I am typically an 8M, and ordered an 8.5M). I will try 9 and see if that works. Sadly, they don't have the color combo I wanted in a bigger size... so I will have to pick a different color combo.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size larger. I am glad I did! Usually wear an 8, the 8.5 fit perfect, with room to wear thicker socks. Love, love, love these booties. Very comfortable and warm. Plus they’re super cute!

These are even nicer than I expected. Not at all heavy and clunky like my Sorel winter boots. They look slimmer and smaller than a boot and have sturdy soles I think would be good on slippery ground. Sadly, they were much too small. I usually wear a 9.5W and ordered a 10 in hopes than they would be big enough. They were not. The width is tight and my toe hit the end of the shoe while my heel slipped. Because the rubber won't stretch, there is no hope I could wear these. Other styles of Sorel fit me in size 10, but this style is not for wide feet.

A little narrow at toe for me but that is not unusual. My bog toe does not like to be crowded

I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size up. I can wear a pair of wool socks and fit arch supports nicely. Now I can wear my boots for long walks with the dogs very comfortably. And they’re super cute!

Definitely order a half size up. I wear a 1/2 size larger in Sorel boots, every single time.
