Customer Reviews New Balance Kids Fresh Foam Arishi NXT (Little Kid/Big Kid)

These were purchased for my 12yr old daughter for school shoes. I do not feel that they are a performance shoes for participating in sports; more of a “fashion athletic”. She says they are comfortable for walking the halls between classes. She mostly wears Asics, so I was worried about the size fluctuations between brands. I am happy to say that she wears a size 4.5 in Asics, and these New Balance were sized in at the same (purchsed a 4.5 in these). The only downfall that she has had with them are the laces are slippery corded laces. Unless she double-knots them they do come loose quite easily. She’s on her second week of wearing them. She is a Cross Country runner, but I would not let her wear these shoes for distance training. The soles are much too slick for traction. For an everyday walking shoe, they are great; just what I intended them to be for her.

My daughter loves these shoes. They fit her very narrow foot very well. Very well made shoe that is holding up well.

These are cute sneakers. They're well made and offer great support for my 8 yo daughter's feet. She says they're "super comfy." She's one of those kids who has a low bar for things feeling uncomfortable on her feet, for instance, a small wrinkle in her sock or seams in her socks. These fit the bill for her. We highly recommend them.

Bought these for my 8 yo daughter. They took only an hour or two to "break in." They were quick to become comfortable. She loves them and the fun colors. She's very happy with them. I have to agree with another reviewer's mention of the shoelaces coming untied easily (even when double knotted). Easy enough to replace though. We recommend these highly.

Cute!! Bought these for my 8year old and she loves them. Her foot is narrow and has a little room to grow so I bought a size up and they fit perfect.

I tell my 9 year old she has Frodo feet because they’re nice and wide. Finding shoes can be tough but these fit the bill and look nice too. I’m hopin because of the dark color they’ll look good for month.

These are a narrower New Balance, which I actually appreciated for my daughter with a narrow foot. She wears a size 1, but I usually size up for sneakers. The size 1.5 fit her perfectly! Our only complaint is the round laces. They never seem to stay tied in our experience, but thankfully laces can be replaced.

Can’t go wrong with New Balance. She loves it and even wore it to tumbling class and said she jumped higher.

My daughter just loves these shoes. I just bought her a pair of under armour because I found them on clearance for a good price. She said she doesn't want them her new balance shoes are so comfortable.

Adorable & dark is great for hiding dirt

My 8yo daughter loves these shoes. She picked them out and they fit true to size. They are slim and sleek in person, light and not clunky at all. Just took a trip to NYC where she wore them walking up to 11 miles per day. She did not complain of her feet hurting once! We got drenched in rain one day of the trip and the removable shoe insert popped right out and dried quickly with a hair dryer and the outer shoe dried quickly as well. The sole is rubbery and grippy, which I prefer over the white, less grippy sole that comes with Nike Free Run shoes that we’ve gotten in the past. Great shoe and a great price!

My daughter loves them!! We always buy Nike this is first time I get her new balance! Super comfortable and stylish and fresh foam is awesome!! Gonna get my son a pair! True to size too!

Very good looking shoe (pigment / ice blue). Runs long -- my daughter wears a size 2.5XW in another New Balance shoe but the 2W in this was too long (heel slipped out) and too narrow in the toe box for her.
