Many compliments on these boots! I ordered black and quarry....i'm prob not so "fashion" forward so I think black only looks good with blk leggings/jeans/stretch pants! so.....quarry ones will go back....feet stay warm too b/c they are pretty far from the ground without feeling like I'm walking in heels! love love love.... (I wear an 8.5 or 9 so I ordered 9...they fit great)

LOVE these boots! This is my 6th pair of Sorel and they never disappoint. Hoping they break in a little around the top - they run a bit on my ankle but it’s nothing taller socks can’t fix. Felt true to size, I was worried because all the reviews said to order up 1/2 size!

I reluctantly sized up a 1/2 size because they didn’t have the 8.5, but since I had seen so many people do it and it feel good I took a chance....and they are perfect! I am *barely an 8.5 so I think if I got those I could have worn thin socks and been happy but these really fit great. I teach high school and am on my feet 8+ hours a day. I wore these and came home and walked my dogs in them! They are so fun and comfortable and cute.

Last year I ordered this style in several different sizes and the heel didn’t fit right in any - slid up and down while walking. This year I tried this canvas/leather style and it fit perfect! Not sure if it was because this style has the canvas in it, instead of all leather style.

I sized up 1/2 size - thinking about wearing thicker socks. My feet got a little sore after wearing them all night long. But they were brand new. Love the look & feel.

Love the styles of all Sorels. These were way too tight. I had to go a size bigger. They look great but not super comfortable.

The shoe felt stiff and tended to rub after wearing for anytime .. I have the all leather version and love them , these I hated ..

Sorel makes some adorable, functional boots. I have a similar pair at home and can wear them for hours on end staying warm, dry and comfortable. That being said, I cannot understand what is so hard about getting the insoles to stay where they are intended to stay. I had this problem with previous Sorel purchases as well and have learned to deal with it with the one pair I have, however, due to the lace up style here it makes the boot nearly nonfunctional. The insole slips forward when you put your foot in, leaving a small space behind your heel with the rest of the insole jammed into the toe, making the boot feel too small. It's really infuriating and I can't believe I haven't seen another review mentioning this as I am now 3 for 3 on issues with this in Sorel's only. My husband suggested glueing it down, but I just don't see how I need to make repairs to a brand new $170 boot. I'm returning and going to a different brand.

I'm crushed that these boots, which I lusted for from the moment I saw the picture of them are too narrow. They are too narrow right where the toes meet the foot but not at the heal. I don't think going up a size would help - from an 11 to 12 would be too big everywhere else. I own some of the Conquest Wedge & PDX Wedge boots & they are great!!

I have several pairs of Sorels, including 2 other Lexie Wedge, and Joan of Arctic wedges. I think this Buffalo Plaid one is just not constructed correctly right at the base of the laces. It is extremely restricting, and not something that feels like it will "break in". I really like the Buffalo Plaid so much, that I am going to try another 8.5 to see if it was just this pair. But this particular run is SIGNIFICANTLY different than my previous pairs, which is disappointing.

I ordered an 8 as that's what I always order in other shoes and I found these to be snug all over. I'm going to order a 1/2 up and see how they fit.

I listened to the other reviews and ordered a half size up. these boots fit perfectly. they are very comfortable and very cute. I have a lot of nerve damage and Sorel is one of the only brands I can wear comfortably for any length of time. These boots are light and have some heavy tread, helping ease my mind about slips in bad weather. if you are on the fence about these boots, I say go for it. they are cute and still practical. Worth every penny.

THese were beautiful but too narrow :( order a size up

I bought these for my wife for a present. She loves them and wears them quite frequently. They look great on her and she says they're very comfortable.
