I would buy this product again and again...if only they hadn't discontinued it. I think I bought the last pair that exists on the earth in my size of this exact model (Torrent, original not II). I'm totally bummed that, once again, I've found the perfect shoe that works for my problematic, overused feet only to have it discontinued a year later. Why do they DO that??? Anyway, they want a review here, not my rant. What I love about this Hoka is that it has just the right amount of "Hoka spring". It's cushioned but not so much so that I feel like I'm working too hard as I do with some of the other Hoka models. I wore it when I walked the Camino de Santiago last year through every kind of terrain imaginable, including slippery rock and ancient cobble stone. I didn't get a bister, not one, and my friends who walked in hiking boots all suffered one type of foot issue or another. I had none. There's plenty of support (maybe not if you're carrying a really heavy pack) for trail and hills. Nothing would make me happier than to have them back in the Hoka stock.

Initially, I was a bit skeptical about getting these shoes because v I have never owned a pair of HOKA shoes but when I put them on, I fell in love. These shoes are great for working out and running. Light as a feather and so breathable. I'll be checking the website for other styles and colors. Great buy!

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in an extremely long time. I suffer from a spinal cord injury and I can wear these comfortably all day long without fatigue or pain in my feet or legs.

I work 12 hour shifts where I take 10,000-20,000 steps each time and am on my feet almost the entire time. These shoes do the job.

Great on my feet 16 hours a day . Have bought 3 pairs in 8 months I rotate them I have flat feet my feet are great all day.

My husband is a nurse and recommended this trail runner for me. I had been utilizing another sneaker which left discomfort for me during the cold season here in the Windy City. I am so grateful that my husband's colleagues recommended these as I am now spreading the word and by the way, my husband has purchased a pair now. Love them!

What a great off-road shoe. I have been trail running in the Speedgoat and am thrilled to add the Torrent to my "quiver'. It is super lightweight, the upper is supple and the sole lugs provide excellent traction on any surface. I just completed a 13+ mile ridge run in the Green Hills Preserve of North Conway, NH and these shoes were ideal for climbing, descending, traversing, rock slabs, roots, loose rocks and gravel. They wear like a road shoe, but have the traction of a solid trail shoe the best of both worlds.

Great for light hikes and walking on our gravel road. Just the right amount of cushioning, not too squishy. I have also worn these as casual golf shoes when walking the course and they work great!

I've had trouble finding sneakers that don't hurt the bottoms of my feet. These are amazing. So so comfortable, well made, and have made a world of difference. Will be buying another pair!

Highly recommend this shoe.

I walk a lot road, trail, and treadmill. Holding up well so far. Comfortable and feel sturdy on uneven ground. Glad to get away from the overrated "N" brand!

They are very comfortable and relieve the pain I have in my foot. I do a 3 mile walk 4x a week and to finally find a shoe that works has been great!!

Great quality running show with laces that have grip.

Love these shoes. I use them primarily for hiking but also a little trail running. They are light, comfortable and supportive. Great continuity from original Torrent. Keep making these, Hoka!

I wear this shoe exclusively for hilly trails, it keeps my feet and knees happy

I've seen many co workers with these shoes and swore I'd never buy them, after ACL surgery my physical therapist suggested I buy some to I did. Best shoe I've ever owned my feet don't hurt and aided in proper walking and stance!
