I was looking for a super cushioned shoe to spend 2 weeks in Floida walking around theme parks (in the past, my feet would throb by the end of the day at the park and I dreaded going back out the next day). This shoe was amazing when I first put it on. I could not believe how much cushion it had. When I stepped back into my Nike or under armour shoes, they felt like cardboard compared to these. So, these are the only shoes I have worn for the last 3 months. However, after this time, I do have to say it feels like the shoe lost alot of its cushion and sank down. There is also a small hole already starting between the mesh and sole. For the price, I wish it lasted longer. I still think it's more comfortable than my other brand shoes, but it would make me think twice before buying more. Maybe it was a fluke with this pair, but it's a shame to spend so much to find out one pair didn't live up to standards. I have tried other styles of Hoka, and will say these are the most cushioned of them all...so people who are on their feet all day (I work in a hospital) would love this shoe. This would be my go to shoe of Hoka if I were looking for utmost cushioning and comfort.

Overall I'd be happy with these if I didn't get a blister on the side of my toe the first time I ran in them. I knew they ran narrow because I tried on 3 different pairs before coming to a decision to keep the wides. I spent time walking in them before running to ease into them. On my first run I got a really deep blister on the side of my toe that took a full month to heal. I never got a new one after that, but my bigger problem lies in that I train on paved hills often, and when I run downhill my feet get incredibly hot. The soles of my feet feel like they're on fire, and I'm rarely braking when I run downhill. I don't understand and my friend has the same problem with hers. I loved walking in them and running in them felt like running on clouds, but I just couldn't get past the heat issues so I had to return them.

These are definitely not the most stylish sneakers. However, I LOVE them! They are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn in my life. Ya know when you go to a newer kids playground and they have that sort of squishy/bouncy ground underneath the playground equipment? That's what these sneakers feel like inside. It's amazing. I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis and these are the ONLY shoes I can wear that don't make my feet hurt. I feel like they've actually helped to heal my foot. I have Birkinstocks and Clarks... but my feet still hurt wearing those after a long day. These are the best though.. they don't hurt at all. Also, I have a really wide foot and these are very comfortable width wise as well. Highly recommend. My only complaint is the color choices ... I'd prefer something not as flashy.

I wear an 8.5 and thses shoes are true to size. They were very comfortable, almost like walking on a soft pillow, kind of giving a "spring back" feeling. I bought this color (lavender) because the color I wanted was out, but I am really pleased. It's a really pleasant fun color.

Are they the ‘cutest’ running shoes? Probably not, but I don’t think most running shoes are that attractive. Going on a hiking vacation and I think these will fit the bill. Nice colors, very cushy ....and seem to be wearing in well.

I have foot problems and I wish they were just a little bit wider. Rubbed on the sides and felt too narrow but they really feel like they would be heaven for those who suffer like I do, tendon issues in toes and plantar fasciitis. If they had fit, I would've given this 5 stars.

I am super happy with these shoes as walking shoes. They are SO comfortable, however, for running I did find them just a bit heavy/bulky feeling for my liking. But- I walk just as much as I run so am def happy with them !

These are very plush and comfy. I work in a warehouse and stand on concrete all day and needed some shock absorption. These do the trick. The only issues for me are that the toe box is actually a little too roomy for my taste, and I wish they had more arch support. However, I do have dainty feet with very high arches, so these probably won't be issues for most people. Overall, I like them and will probably buy another pair, but a half size smaller.

I ordered 5 1/2 shoe size and still slightly big on my feet even though my feet size is 5 1/2. Next time i'll order size 5 instead.

I loved them but delivery took awhile. Return is even longer. I ordered the same size as usual. I have owned 8 pairs of hokas.

While I wouldn't say these are the most glamorous shoes (and only 2 color options in wide), they do provide amazing cushioning. I have high arches and the arch support isn't quite what I'd hoped for, however they would easily accommodate orthotic inserts. I ordered them specifically for the cushioning as I have recently recovered from a metatarsal stress fracture. My one gripe about them is that the left tongue migrates (see photo). I've never experienced this before with any shoe; perhaps I have a defective shoe. I do plan to order a pair in black to wear to work.

The jury is still out with me and these shoes. I thank Zappos for giving me a 30 day test run. On the plus side, they’re VERY comfy. Almost like walking on pillows. When I was a new runner/walker, I would have loved this. However, I personally like to feel the road beneath me. Psychologically it helps me focus on my legs/muscles, and physically it helps me remain in the proper stride. These shoes are so comfortable that at the end of the workout I didn’t feel like I worked my legs. I realize this sounds crazy...just one person’s opinion though. They’re great quality, very good looking, and as I said, extremely comfortable.

I've gained a lot of weight over the past year, and my feet were really killing me at work and just in general. I bought these to help with cushioning my feet, and they have really worked. They are big on the bottom, but that is actually the style now, and honestly - as long as my feet feel better, I'm happy with them. I felt like I was walking on one of those black cushion pads they have for industrial use. I bought the indigo - thought they were black and blush by the photo, but it did say indigo, so that was my bad. They look great, feel great - I got compliments at work on them, going to buy a second pair. They work.

These are super cushy and I loved them so much, but I had to return them because they were just slightly too narrow on the outside of my feet. I think it's just from the design which includes the 3 stripes which are plasticky so very firm. The cushion made me want to try other Hoka shoes, and so I ended up with the Clifton 6, which is similar but the upper is all mesh, so there's more give for a slightly wider foot. The Bondi 6 is more cushy and I hope that future versions don't have the stripes which make the shoes just barely too narrow for me. For now, the Bondi 6 is my new go-to.

I have flat feet and other foot problems, and have trouble finding the right shoe. I bought these because I thought they would provide some stability as well as some arch support. They have good cushioning and are very comfortable. They also feel much more stabilizing than the Sauconys I bought in March. They do feel a little big, however. I haven't been sure whether to return them for size 6 (I bought 6 1/2), as I will probably need to put some sort of insert in them, as I usually do with running shoes. I also feel slightly self-conscious about the very thick sole, but they're great in other ways, so I'll probably just keep them. All in all, they're great shoes.

As far as cushion goes, Hoka is the leader in running shoes. However, I selected 4 starts instead of 5 for one reason. The Bondi 6 seems to be much more narrow in the toe box than the Bondi 5. I've had two pair of Bondi 5's and they were a perfect fit. I ordered the same size in the Bondi 6 and I have had continual blisters on the outside of both big toes after all my runs. Not sure what to do to alleviate, but it's worth it for the cushion.

I use these shoes for work. I am on my feet all day in a busy medical office. These shoes are comfortable, except if you have bunions; they are a bit tight around that area. I bought these specifically for capsulitis problems. While they do help somewhat with easing the pain in my feet, their only draw back is they make me feel like I am leaning back. I suppose the design is meant to keep you off the pad of your feet to ease the pressure. Over-all, yes they are better then what I have been using in the past.

The only reason I gave these four stars is I wish they came in plain white and plain black or more neutral colors. The bright colors are great but not always for work. They are so comfortable and fit beautifully.

I need a lot of cushion when I run and these are so amazing. My favorite shoe was the Clifton 3 and these are closer to that landing. Only con is that they are heavy and it's a lot of shoe. Something in the shape slips on the heel for my foot
