This is the only shoe that I can wear. Period. I rotate 2 pairs. The orthopedic surgeon suggested ankle surgery to remove the Os Trigonom bone (the size of a pencil eraser - wedged between the bottom of the Tibia and the Talus that is impinged and causing extreme bone on bone aggravation and pain). I choose to wear my Hoka Bondi 5 with business attire instead of risking surgery. Rocker bottom, neutral footbed, awesome cushioned heel keeps me walking for miles on concrete floors and able to participate in Kick Boxing and other high impact activities. 5-8 miles walking for exercise is doable with the Bondi and my injury. I am a walking advertisement for Hoka. I just wish they weren't so big and colorful and that all the awesomeness of the Bondi technology was somehow parlayed into a professional work shoe. I do kind of look ridiculous in my HOKAs and business suit - lol. But I dont care. I can walk without pain!

As a Tour Guide I walk between 5 and 10 miles daily...with this shoe I felt I was 'walking on air'. First time I haven't been tired at the end of a 14 hour day taking middle school students around Washington DC, New York City and Boston.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended these after having two surgeries to repair my ankle. I am a nurse and am constantly on my feet. My feet, ankles, and legs no longer ache after a 12 hour day. I can not wait to try more! Have already had others purchase! Definitely recommended!

I wore another brand for a long time ,never really happy with my choice, this shoe was comfortable from the moment I put them on ,I was so pleased I ordered a second pair....

A friend familiar with Hoka products suggested I look at the Bondi shoe, since she was familiar with my complaints about my terrible toes. Those two toes, misshapen as they are, forced me to give up anything resembling heels or "cute" shoes a long time ago. I see the podiatrist every 3 months to remove calluses from them, as I walk on my toenails on two bent toes. I live in athletic shoes, and I was still in pain. THEN I bought the Bondi black shoes. HANDS DOWN these are THE best shoes I ever bought. I work in a school and I have for 30 years, and I'm on my feet all day. I went from being miserable, in pain, walking "funny" , to being pain free. I feel like I can extend my times between going to the doctor now. No kidding, it's like a miracle for me. These shoes are super comfortable and have the most "squish" I've ever had in a shoe, and it gives to those terrible toes. It cradles them. It's "squishy" without any unwieldiness, as they are very responsive. I never write reviews, but this amazing shoe compelled me to do it. It is literally a life changer for me. When your feet hurt, everything hurts -- I'd have to walk "funny", then my knees hurt from that, which led to a hip hurting, and of course my back was out of whack, and I just felt bad all over. NOT ANYMORE. I can walk normally. Therefore, I feel so much better. Need a cushion? Do not wait another moment to order some.

Seen people wearing shoe. They looked so comfy. Didnt approach and ask about them. Went to shoe store and fell in love with the fit and comfort. Just wished they had better colors. But i still took a pair home. Bondi 6 wish they were less in price.

I broke my leg about 14 years ago and they put a rod in my tibia. I tried running in Asics but it was just to painful so I resigned myself to the fact I would never run again. One day I started training with a trainer who is a triathlete. She recommended I try Hoka One Bondi's and my life was changed for the better! Bondi's are the only shoe I can run in with little to no pain. They're a blessing and a life changer.

I pulled these out of the box and had some concerns as the base (sole) is definitely narrower in the forefoot than the Bondi 5. That being said, I tried them on, and the forefoot feels more spacious than the 5s. I ran 10 miles in them out of the box, and so far, am very pleased with the fit (mostly trail with a little bit of road). Please consider making a Bondi with more of an aggressive sole for trails.

This is by far the only pair of shoes I can wear comfortably with my orthotics. I had problems looking for shoes as I'm a half-size, it is great that Hoka offer half sizes, but Bondi 6 is half a size smaller than the shoes I am used to. These shoes are very comfy, like walking on clouds. They are lightweight and shock absorbent. I was having plantar fasciitis and a twisted ankle and these shoes are such a life saver. Even with my orthotics, I could feel the impact and pain coming from other shoes, but not with this pair. I'm very glad that they offer wide fit as I have wide feet, it's such a struggle to find shoes! However, the wide in my regular size wasn't comfortable enough, I had to size up. Highly recommended for anyone with plantar fasciitis and knee pain, but use them with your orthotics. I am thankful of the 30 day trial period, I was able to return the shoes in my usual size (but was tight even though it's wide) and got half a size bigger.
