Finally running shoes that are wide enough to fit me 4E feet; New Balance no longer fit, no matter how sizes larger than normal I ordered. These Hokas have more cushioning than any running shoe I've used before, and are very comfortable.

I had to purchase the men's version of their e Bondi 6 to try to get the extra width. The width is okay but I might try the men's WW width. The shoe manufacturers forget that people have foot problems that require extra room in their shoes. Foot problems should not prevent people from doing what they like to do.

I just purchased these shoes and ran 3.5 miles Saturday and 18.80 miles Sunday. Currently 4 weeks away from my first Marathon.
Initial thoughts:
- Very cushioned, which I need because I have a case of runner's knee. My knees get very sore. This shoe is much more comfortable than my Brooks Ghost 11s which are at 260 miles.
- Slightly heavy, which makes me want to try out the HOKA Rincoln or Clifton 6... though they aren't as padded as the Bondi.
- This seems to be a very good training shoe for medium-to-long distances. I am still debating whether or not this should be "raced" in...

My third pair. I love them. But I might change next time for another company because of cost.

Great running cushion, but are pretty worn out at 400 miles.

True to length, but narrow. A narrow toe box is common with Hoka. I returned for a wide which is perfect. The alloy color comes with a second pair of laces if you don't like the pinkish red ones.

The limited forefoot flexibility of these shoes has made all the difference in terms of comfort. The older I get the more issues I have had with my feet. I purchased these on the recommendation of a physical therapist. They are remarkably comfortable. The only issue I had with my first pair was that the fit was a bit tight with my orthotics in place. Zappos was able to get what my local shoe store could not: 2x width. I now no longer wither at the suggestion of a walk along a city street. These are terrific shoes. The color options could be improved a bit, but the shoes are so comfortable I no longer really care.

This is a shoe with superior comfort...better than I have ever had before. However, after walking a day in this shoe I noticed that they make a noise. I thought it was the road surface causing the noise, but once inside I could easily tell it was coming for the shoe itself when I walked on carpet. The shoe make a crunching noise like you may hear when stepping on a sponge. It was not that noticeable to my wife, but I found myself listening for the noise each time I walked -- the distraction became too much so I return them.

This is the third pair of Koka's I have purchased. My original pair was a wide width. My second pair I bought the medium width on the recommendation of the sales person at Fleet Feet here in Cincinnati and they felt just fine. So this time I ordered on line and ordered the exact same size and width, but since the day I got them the left shoe is very tight which perplexing to me. I could see if I ordered a different size or width, but that's not what did. Help would be appreciated.

Recommended by my podiatrist for my plantar fascia issues. Love the color choice on this one since I am a big footed woman who has to wear men's sizes but likes less masculine color combos! Love this color!

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. If there's anything wrong with your feet get this shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Hoka's and while they are comfortable I wish I had ordered them wide. They feel a bit snug on my toes. I have custom inserts in both shoes.

I like the changed lashing arrangement. Tongue is more stable. The first shipment the right shoe had heal slippage. Second shipment had no problem. I am 78 years old walk 2 miles per day on park trails. Fourth pair of Hoka shoes. Wish I had discovered them earlier.

I'm a professional golf caddie on Tour. I walk about 10 miles a day, and half of that with a 50 lb. bag on my shoulder. My feet and my shoes take a LOT of abuse. I've spent thousands of dollars in search of the perfect shoe.
I had settled in on the Ecco Biom Train as my go to shoe for caddying. Very comfortable shoe. On grass. Then one week I had off from golf I was doing some heavy walking on concrete. I developed a stress related injury in my foot that required me to see a podiatrist. He recommended I ditch the Eccos and try HOKA Bondi. At that time, the Bondi 5 is what was available. They were the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. And they lasted a long time too.
Then the Bondi 6 came out and I got a new pair to start the year caddying. They were even more comfy than the 5's. These shoes are like walking on pillows! My feet didn't hurt even after the most intense days of caddying. I had an insert I used in the Eccos for plantar fasciitis. I didn't need that anymore. These were the greatest shoes ever!
Unfortunately though the Bondi 6's aren't very durable. After only about 6 weeks I noticed they started to split at the seem. Over the next couple of weeks the holes got bigger. Finally they became unwearable after less than 10 weeks. That was extremely disappointing.
I sent them back to HOKA and they didn't hesitate to give me a warranty credit. I was happy about that but I didn't feel like I should order another pair because I think this problem is a design flaw in the shoe and would happen again. Can you imagine watching a golf tournament on TV and seeing the caddie walking barefoot on the last few holes because his shoes blew out? I didn't want that to be me.
I was going to try the leather Bondi's but they didn't have my size. I ordered a pair of Akasa's instead. They look more durable. I hope they're as comfortable. I'll get another pair of Bondi 6's for cruising around town in because they are soooo comfy. Just not as durable as I need.

The cushioning is great but even a wide width was not wide enough for me a I had to return my Hoka's.

I have worn these every day since I got them. The last few days they have started to squeak really loud. They are so comfortable I will still wear them. Hopefully the squeak goes away.

It was about time replacing my old Brooks shoes which I had more than 100 miles on them :-D. This time I wanted to try Hoka to see how they work on me. Took them for a short 5 miles run and the response was great, really comfortable and light feeling at the road. Still I need to put more miles on it, but they felt pretty good this morning. Love the design and color, but most important is how easy they fit my feet.

It is a comfortable shoe overall. Great for running mid distances. The toe box is a bit narrow but other than that, great! It has great traction in dry weather on pavement. I have not tested them in wet conditions

Comfortable fit but somewhat snug in width. Having injured both big toes from walking distances in other running shoes, am concerned that the toes could be affected again by using this new pair. It would be a great fit if it was slightly wider than is available.
