Great in the gym and on the street.

I'm thankful an iron man told me about these a couple years ago.

I bought the Bondi 6 because of my toe pain. I have been pain free for the first time in 6 years thanks to Hoka. I have the waterproof leather boots and recovery sandals too, so I am always walking on air!!!

Really appreciate the plushness of the Bondi 6. Ultra comfortable, but not heavy as it looks!

Ive worn Hoka now for 3 years. I have basically been restricted to walking maybe 1 mile a day for the last 12 years. I have torn ACL's in both knees, ruptured achilles tendon, spinal fusion in lower back and compacted disks in my kneck. Hoka has changed my life, and given me the opportunity to walk 5 miles a day now with no pain. I am writing this because this weekend I will be taking my first run in 12 years with the blessings of my ortho doctors and surgeons. Thanks Hoka for giving me my health and athletic life back. I have used primarily the Bondi 4,5,6 and Clifton 4,5

Excellent cushioning

I love how light this shoe is. The cushion and support is unreal, something that I have never experienced. I own many types of $300-400 sneakers and these are right up there with them as far as comfort and support.

I bought my first Bondi 6 on the advice of a skilled salesman at a boutique running store. I no longer run (age and bad and replaced knees). But I still work out regularly and am very active. The Bondi 6 is amazing. The cushioning is fantastic and I can stand on and walk with them for hours. The technical stuff that Hoka hypes about the shoe propelling you forward as you walk or run is true. I wish I could still run for that must be amazing. I use an orthotic for extra comfort and arch support in lieu of the liner that it comes with. But that is not necessary. The toe box is nice and wide which makes the shoe very comfortable for me (but also a bit clunk looking, as others have noted). But the comfort level of this shoe is simply amazing and I look forward to putting them on each day; so much so, that I bought a second pair on-line direct from Hoka about four months after my first purchase.

Game changer. 60 year old dude, running all my life. High mileage.. Used to run in NB leadvilles, then NB decided to ruin them. Then ran in Brook Levitate, was not impressed. I could feel the road. Then i discovered HOKA. wanted lots of cushion..... I called them and said im going to run in your Bondi for 30 days, I will trash them. If i dont like them I will be returning them...The customer service rep said YEP THAT'S WHAT WE WANT YOU DO TO. This is day 7. out of the box i did 10 miles. day 7 now feels great. i love them.... I DONT FEEL THE ROAD ANYMORE... I am now a HOKA runner. And i am very happy. If you want cushion. BUY THEM AND ENJOY RUNNING.

I really like this shoe! It's very comfortable. Meta rocker works. The midsole provides excellent cushioning, especially in the forefoot. I hope Hoka keeps this for all future Bondis. I want a max cushion shoe! The upper has ample padding and breaths well. I initially thought there could be more padding around the collar and in the tongue, but have not had any problems. The outsole has been durable so far (110 miles with no problems whatsoever). One gripe, the laces were a bit thin, too long, and too stretchy for me. I swapped them out. I'm going to pick up a second pair of the Bondi 6.

I have a plantar plate injury in my foot and have been in significant pain both walking around and standing for prolonged periods. I first got relief from some modified insoles but my foot would still end up hurting. During a follow up appointment, my podiatrist recommended Hoka and I figured I would give it a shot. I went into a store to try them on and have been wearing them ever since. Not only are my feet no longer in pain, I am able to go on long walks on consecutive days without any pain whatsoever (just using the standard Hoka insoles). If you are even considering these, just get them, you will not regret it.

We have a TRUE treadmill that's guaranteed for life and pushing 20 years old. Some newer treadmills have the ability to change the level of firmness. Given I'm too cheap to buy a new treadmill, and the fact our existing treadmill may outlive me, I decided to lessen the firmness with these shoes. Problem solved! My long distance road running days are over, but I have no problem knocking out 4ish running miles on the treadmill with these puppies, including some intervals. Very plush, and work fantastic on our treadmill! Shoes are extremely comfortable running at a slow or brisk pace, and do not feel like they are inefficient. The shoes are like having the benefit of a modern full suspension mountain bike - plush when you need it and firm enough for my stride and ankles to not notice the extra cush. Also, my go-to pair of shoes when I know I'll be standing all day! I prefer to wear these with thicker trail socks (Drymax Trail Running 1/4 Crew), and went a half shoe size up to compensate for the slightly thicker socks. Never had to break the shoes in and never have had a blister.

Got these delivered today and ran 3 miles for a PR out the box! Instantly could feel a change in my form and zero pain in what are usually fatigued legs.
