The cushioning is fantastic. Very comfortable for working out, walking, running or just every day wear.

Ordered the Bondi 6 size 10 with 1 day shipping. They arrived 1 day late. I notified Hoka and they immediately refunded my shipping costs. Then after a couple of weeks of wearing them they did not stretch at all and were hurting my feet from being too tight. My feet do not measure as wide but they are borderline wide. Returning them was simple and easy and the refund was issued 3 days after I mailed them back. I then purchased the Bondi 6 size 10 wide, and I am very happy with them. Feels like I'm walking on a cloud. These shoes are awesome for someone that needs to be on their feet all day. Shoes are great, customer service was great, return service was simple and hassle free.

This is my 2nd pair of Hokas. I am a Triathlete and I run pretty much everyday now. The Hokas give me the support and comfort I need to put in the miles. I have since(3 weeks later) bought my 3rd pair!

I have a lot of foot pain. Along with having flat feet, I have arthritis and bone spurs. My podiatrist recommended that I buy custom soles but they cost $600. He said I could also try shoes from Hoka One One first. He wears them and swears by them. I've had them for several weeks now and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Feels like I'm walking on marshmallows or clouds. Yes, I still have some pain that I don't think any shoe can get rid of completely, but I will recommend these to everyone. They did squeak for the first day or two but that's gone.

I was having back issues. I'm a coach and coaching on a rubber floor was causing my lower back to be sore. A receptionist at my doctor recommended these and I purchased a pair and haven't purchased anything different since then

Excellent sneakers. The best sneakers I have ever worn are the Bondi 5. I am happy to report the Bondi 6 are just as perfect. They are extremely comfortable. Plush cushion with very stable support. Great fit and the meta rocker action slightly propels you forward. I bought the black and wore them to a wedding with black pants, shirt and tie.

Been battling plantar fasciitis for 18 mos now, have this shoe and the Clifton with protalus insoles. Rotate the two pairs and have finally got back to decent mileage without pain.

Have had the Black Bondi 6 in Wide & Brown Bondi 6 Leather in Wide for a couple months. Just had an opportunity to test the Black Bondi 6 in a 2-hour moderate-difficult hike at the Tsankawi Village Trail (Bandelier National Monument) just outside White Rock, NM over rocky terrain. These shoes provided excellent grip and an amazing cushioned feel on the uneven rocky surfaces, both jagged and smooth. At the end of the 2-hour hike, feet felt unbelievably comfortable. Excellent test for my new Hokas! Definitely recommend; confident you'll be pleased.

These are by far the most comfortable running shoes I've worn. They are surprisingly light for the cushioning in the sole. Will buy again!!

I have been a competitive runner for many years and also did triathlons for about 10 years. I am now 64 years old and was experiencing some hip ache to the point I had to stop running this year. After a thorough examination with x-rays and MRI I was told that I need a hip replacement. That was a shocker to me - never expected it would happen to me. I guess this is a message to runners out there. I am not overweight and weigh the same as I did when I graduated from high school. I mostly ran trails to minimize the pounding on my legs. You always here "use it or lose it". Well now I see you can use it and wear it out. I would have never even considered a Hoka shoe because I was focused on light and fast minimalist shoes. The pain in my hip was starting to curtail even walking - until I got a pair of Hoka's on a doctors recommendation to stay active. I have to tell you I really really like these shoes. Now I can take a walk and it has helped ease the pain of every day activities. They are also stylish (plus they make me a little taller!) I 100% give this shoe a standing ovation - thank you Hoka. All you runners, especially you older ones - reconsider your training/running/walking shoes. As we age we start to lose cartilage. Hoka's will help compensate for that and give you that extra cushion you need. Well worth it.

I've competed for years in action shooting wearing Salomon. They'er fine for competition but, no cushion for everyday training. I'm really impressed with the fit. Super-lite, great stability and most of all comfortable. My new favorite trainer. Thanks.

The only issue I've had is the drop from the heel to toe. I find myself crunching my toes to find my body's position in space. This causes my arches to ache after five miles of good paced walking. When I put a small self adhesive 1.5mm padding just under my toes, they feel very comfortable and I don't need to crunch them to feel the shoe underneath me and thus my spatial position. Not sure if there is a good solution for this other than such customization, but I am throwing this out to let you know that the shoe is great and can be even better out of the box if there was an option to overcome the 4mm heel to toe drop.

I was a sub 3 HR marathoner in my late 20's to 30's. A couple of torn menisci and ultimately a microfracture (knee surgeries) from playing other sports have left me with pretty bad knees. Now in my 40's; I have tried all types of shoes and none really allow me to run with any joy. Until now. I have always been reluctant to buy Bondi's (too heavy, clunky, felt slow) in the past. Many people recommended them to me but I thought; no, I'm not that old; my knees aren't that bad etc etc.. I will say I tried the Bondi 5 and they felt HARD, blocky and was not for me. I tried the Bondi 6's and wow!! They are really plush! They are soft and forgiving without feeling like your running in sand. They actually feel a bit "bouncy". I have changed my gait to a more forefoot strike (should have a decade ago) and these shoes are the only ones that have enough cushion in the metatarsal areas for my gait. They're amazing!! I have done (2) four mile runs in them (around 7:50-8 min mile pace) on concrete and my knee was completely fine the next day. I have tried them all in the past; Clifton, Clifton OG, Nike Vaporfly 4%, Altra paradigm, Torin.. you pretty much name it. If you are looking for comfort and cushion... this is what you need. Obviously, if you are healthy and looking for a 5K racer; this isn't it.

I had never heard of Hoka until last year when a salesperson suggested I try the Bondi. Due to a couple of issues with one foot, my ideal shoe has a very roomy (wide) toebox, is well cushioned, and has a fairly rigid sole. I tried a 10.5, my normal size, with my usual insoles, but it felt a bit tight across the toes. I switched to a 10.5 wide, and at first my heels were slipping quite a bit. The salesperson laced them differently and that solved the problem. I loved the mix of cushy yet stiff, but was a little uncertain about feeling 2 or 3 inches higher off the ground than usual. I gave them a try, though, and adjusted to that in a day or two. They're now my primary shoes and I adore them! The black/black is great for work, but I'd love to see more colours in wide for everyday. (I'd love to be able to get the women's ones, but I'm used to making do with men's due to size availability). One last thing: the one thing that annoys me slightly about my original pair is that the tongue is not padded. I tried on a pair of Bondis today (they were solid blue) and was delighted that you've added a moderate amount of padding to the tongue. Thanks for that update!

Bought these for my husband who has been increasing his running mileage recently. He was getting some pains in the ball of his foot in his previous shoe. I have worn this same shoe in women’s before so he wanted to try it too. His first few runs gave him a blister in his inner arch area on one foot but he still says he wants to keep them. Even with the blister he said these shoes are so comfortable and his feet feel pain free when running (minus the blister). He’s hoping the skin on his foot will just toughen up in that area as they get used to the shoes. He says he would recommend them for painful feet.

It's seems the older I get the more difficult it is to find comfortable shoes. I tried on my first pair of Hoka (Bondi 6) and it was like walking on clouds. The way the shoe cradled and supported my feet was pure comfort, enjoyment even. I could have sworn a light shown from above and angels started to sing. I used to come home and breathe a sigh of relief when taking off my shoes. Now, for the first time ever, I breathe a sigh of relief when I put my shoes on. I'm even jogging again!
