The Hoka Bondi 6 is a fine ride for winter treadmill running during the dark, icy and cold winter months. The cushion is also nice on indoor tracks at slow to moderate pacing on short tracks. Accommodates a high arch and wide toe box aptly. True to fit - but nothing extra for sizing. Anxious to get an outdoor run in soon.

Took the shoes out for the first time today. I have been using Brooks Ghost 11 and Launch 6 and these Hoka Bondi 6s were amazing. They are heavier than both of the Brooks, but I couldn't tell. The roll over of the shoe made the shoe feel fast. The extreme comfort threw me off. I was running without any back or hip pain (i have back and hip injuries to deal with). I will be running more with these shoes, but so far stupendous shoes!

Fit and size took a little time to get used to. Arch support is not what it was said. I have been wearing them off and on for a while, still have hard time getting appropriate arch support. Very comfortable shoes.

I bought the Bondi 6 medium width after really liking the Bondi 4 medium width. Be forewarned that the toe box has gotten much narrower. Otherwise, I like the shoes, but will be returning them.

Ask me for comments in 3 months, when I've had a good chance to comment on performance. I've been wearing Hoka's for the past 5 years and look for durability in the soles. Wore out my Bondi 5s quicker than normal, so I really want to see how the Bondi 6 holds up.

I am sure that these shoes would be great for a lot of people. They are very soft foamy shoes. The reason I am sending them back is the arch hits me in the wrong place. I know if I were to wear these on a very long walk I would have blisters in my arch area. Something very hard is hitting me right in the arch. Would be most uncomfortable if I wore them long. The shoe is plenty wide, but it is as tho the arch comes in to far. I guess they fit different people differently. They are not for me. I have tried so many different shoes and it seems I just keep coming back to New Balance shoes.

Data geek here, I keep detail log of my workouts and after 299 miles of road use, the Bondi 6 sole is worn out, however the cushioning is still there. If the objective is to make a light shoe, then the sole material is right, but durable it is not. I think I can make it to 500 miles, but I suspect the forefoot sole area will be bald with no tread/lugs left. I'm a light runner with a forefoot strike. From experience, the heel collar is the first thing to go follow by the sole, however, the Bondi 6 upper construction is solid, but the sole material could be a little more durable, in my mind.

The package was not neatly packaged. All I got was shoes and a box, no foams to protect the package. Feel like the staff just threw in the shoes in the box carelessly. The sole material is cheap. It wears out quickly on asphalt running.

Comfortable and cushiony shoes. I like them a lot but I have to add a shoe insert with a high arch because there is not arch support in these shoes.

I have two pair of Bondi's. I initially like them but never loved them. Was told when I bought them they would last 500 to 600 hundred miles for me (240). I now have about 300 and they will be luck to see 350 miles. The tongue has to be fixed. The thing slips down in the shoe and I have to use pliers to pull it out every time I wear them. They seem really soft when I start out but by mile 3 or 4 I have hot spots and my foot begins to fall asleep. This has never happened with any other shoe. By mile 8 my feet hurt so bad I can't stand it. I have tried everything and nothing seems to help.

They were too small. I tried 12 1/2 because 13 was out of stock. Didn't work. Also, I have a pronating ankle problem and the shoes gave no lateral support. Back to Brooks Adrenalines.

I wanted to badly like these sneakers. At first I was amazed how good they felt, and how great the padded bottom made my feet feel. However, after a few days of treadmill use I started getting arch pain, and after a week a lot of arch pain. I tried for a few more weeks but the pain kept getting worse and I decided that was it for me. Back to my ghost 11 sneakers and I don't think I'll come back to these ever again.

Per husband wearing size 13W: Too squishy. Too much cushion. So high that I felt unstable in them. I wanted to love them and maybe could get used to them eventually but, sorry, I had to send them back. I will buy something with less squish. Thank you Zappos for making returns easy, and I certainly will buy more from you because of this policy.

Shoes are very cushioned. Very comfortable for just walking around. They run small; I ordered a size up. I have a very wide foot so I ordered the wide (2E)...I believe an x-wide (4E) would suit me better (what I usually get in New Balance 990s), but unfortunately not made. Did initial run and am breaking them in, somewhat tight but hoping will give as used more.

I have been wearing Hoka's for nearly 6-7 years. This is the worst pair to date. I have praised these shoes but this model seems to lake the durability of its previous models. Immediately the sole began to separate from the tread and wear down quickly. these shoes are unwearable and I have gone back to my Bondi 4's which are in better shape and several years old. I hope Hoka takes a look at the performance and the tread wear as the 6 is not worth it.

By far the BEST cushioned shoe out there. By far the WORST in sole durability out there. Ive now owned 2 Hokas and theses soles wear out faster than I can get them dirty. Most running shoes I retire way before the outer rubber is close to being worn down. Hoka's rubber is literally gone, down to the foam in spots due to the super thin and sparse rubber they place in an effort to preserve lightness. How about making a road version for those that dont care about a shoe being super light but one that may even last us 500 miles? Do that and you will have me as a customer forever. I just refuse to pay for a shoe that I need to replace every 250-300 miles..

Comfortable and efficient shoe but was disappointed with shoe seam separating on side at about 250 miles. Need to reinforce shoe siding in next version.

Ran a half marathon in them and some training runs before hand. Only shoe that rubbed my big toe nail in a way that turned it black which eventually made the nail go. Other than that, should be more comfortable for the bulky size. It's an ok shoe.

I love the comfort of this shoe. I was hooked on Hoka a few years ago when I was having feet problems. bone spurs, arthritis and plantar fasciitis, I know the trifecta. I purchased a pair locally and they eventually wore out. They were bonded leather. When the time came to replace them it was a no brainier for me. I purchased the Bondi 6 in January directly from Hoka and in April the seam where the canvas meets the sole around the right front of the foot separated. So, needless to say, I'm disappointed in the quality that after 4 months of daily wear that are failing. I recommended Hoka to my wife and neighbors who have all purchased some various styles from Hoka because they are just that comfortable. Now I'm at a crossroad as to what to do... Do I fork over another $150 or try another brand....

I walk on hard floors all day and the soles provide enough cushion. However the toe box is way too narrow. I stretched the shoes for 2 days but they still made my pinkie toes hurt and ache very badly. They also rubbed a big callous on the side of my big toe because the toe box is so tight. I really wanted to love these shoes but I don’t.

I love Hokas but this is the second pair that have begun to tear where the shoe fabric meets the sole in the inside part of the shoe/foot. I am an avid runner, but this seems like a pretty significant defect given the price.

Unfortunately as much as I like these sneakers and the HOKA brand I must warn you to avoid them. I have ordered two pairs in the last year and with BOTH pairs my toes have broken through the fabric. I have never had this happen before and I cannot understand why such nicely designed sneakers are made without the proper reinforcing. I have spent $370 in the last year -- and have two pairs that are useless. I contacted Zappos to ask for advice -- but so far not a peep. Mr Hoka, if you read these things , feel free to contact me how you could allow shoes like this to be sold. Thanks!

Shoes were great while they lasted, which was exactly 2 months. Then they tore up. This is the second pair of Bondi 6 that tear up in under 300 miles. Bondi 5 was a much better model.
