Everything about these boots is perfect! Love that they are waterproof too. True to size.

These feel toasty warm and I can tell I will be able to spend full days walking and hiking in them!

Love these boots. Easy on and off, comfortable, warm, and water repellent. I bought these for a January trip to Iceland--I hiked several miles through snow per day wearing them and was very happy. I still needed metal crampons for the ice, but I expected that.

I ordered half a size up based upon reviews and that worked out well for me. The boots are warm, easy to put on (side zipper), and very comfortable. I wore them on a week-long trip to Iceland in January with lots of hiking and they kept my feet warm, dry, and comfortable.

I loved these boots. I have plantar fasciitis and I'm able to wear these all day without pain. Keen always comes through.

The boots rock! They’re a little bit hideous in this weird pasty blue colour but that doesn’t matter at all. They are wonderful! I was stuck in a blizzard with my kid so we were out as much as possible in the driving snow and clomping around on icy patches of road before being forced back inside. These boots are light AF and amazingly warm and kept my feet dry. And I’m not built for cold weather at all! I’m more of a sunny beach, tropical jungle kind of person. Highly recommend these for everything from running errands amidst snow drifts to going sledding with the kids. I loved the zipper in addition to the laces! Genius. Sometimes I like to double up on my thermal underwear under my pants and over thick woolies; my legs can get a bit chunky. It was great to be able to slip them off and on so easily and adjust the tightness. (Maybe they look better in that brownish/red colour combo?)

Best winter boots I've had! Ordered these in my usual shoe size and the fit is great. The side zipper and sturdy loop on the back makes them super easy to put on and take off without having to lace them up each time. I always have issues with cold feet, but these actually keep my feet warm and comfortable even through hours of shoveling. They've also kept my feet nice and dry and have excellent traction in the snow. Not too bad on icy sidewalks either. Being snow boots, they are a little bit clunky, but they don't feel super heavy or bulky. Overall, a comfortable boot that's been keeping my feet warm and dry through this snowy Wisconsin winter.

This week for 2 consecutive days in Southest Wisconsin the ACTUAL TEMPERATURE was -27 with a windchill of -55. My feet were warm, dry & comfortable! Allelujah!

Fit great and very comfortable. They are snow boots so they look like snow boots. I would t wear them with a nice outfit but they are great for wearing in the snow/cold.

I finally found the right snow boots! I bought these boots to replace two other pairs of snow boots - one pair had really slick tread that made walking in the winter stressful - the other pair had a very narrow tongue that wasn't sewn to the boot and let rain, sleet and snow in all the time. In my opinion, finding new snow boots is a huge pain. But, these boots came through for me! They have a great snug interior that makes your feet feel like they are getting a warm hug, they have sturdy tread that makes me more confident walking my dog through snow and ice and they have a tongue that is sewn to the boot (on the bottom half) so my feet don't get wet and cold. And, they also have a side zip (which I hadn't noticed) that makes it much easier to get them on and off. I highly recommend you consider these boots!

Great winter boot. Cute and very comfortable.

These boots are great! I ordered them because The Wirecutter recommended a similar boot by Keen, but I preferred this style. They are very sturdy without being too stiff, bulky or heavy. The side zipper is a major plus. I have skinny calves and these boots can be laced tight enough to be secure around my legs, so there's no chaffing. For me, they seem to be a true 8.5 or 39. I have narrow feet and the toe box is roomy enough to fit an insole and/or very thick socks, but it also feels perfectly comfortable without one. Very impressed!

These are the perfect mix of hiking shoe and snow boot for walking in the woods in the winter and playing with my dog in the snow. There's some arch support, but not as much as the Merrells I usually wear so I'll be adding in some insoles. They're not warm and fuzzy on the inside like the North Face boots I also tried, but they're much sturdier for actual outdoor adventuring. The sole is stiff, much stiffer than any other snow boot I tried on, which is good for me, but just be aware. Gave only 4 stars for style because they're pretty ugly.

I tried a few different boots from Zappos. Finally! A pair that works for me. These Keens support my ankles, are extremely comfy, waterproof, have great treads, are a trusted brand & are not chunky, bulky or heavy like other boots I've tried. They have a zipper for ease to get on & off. I bought them for snow shoeing which I wear gators for also, but they are stylish so I'll also wear out & about. Thank you Zappos :-)

They are very comfortable boots. I am always between a 9 and 9 1/2 so I went with a 9 1/2. They fit perfectly with a wool sock. Great tread. I really like the color.

Finally! I found boots that fit! I have a narrow foot with high arch and instep. I normally wear a 9.5 in Keens but went up a half size thinking I’ll need room for heavier socks and they fit perfectly. I love the soft upper. Fits nicely around ankle. Good support with a solid sole. I love the blue color as well. I should have known they’d be so comfortable because I love my casual Keens.

I have tried on a lot of winter boots and these by far are the most comfortable. They also have a nice height and good tread. I've been looking for a sturdy comfortable boot and these are perfect. They run a little small. I normally wear a 7.5 but they felt a little snug, especially if I want to wear warmer socks, so I went with an 8.

Finally! After purchasing, and sending back, several pairs of winter boots I finally found a pair that I love! They fit wonderfully, are comfortable, warm, and sturdy. I live in Northern Minnesota so I need a pair of boots that can stand up to our below zero temperatures, and something that will support me. Although we haven't had below zero temps since I got the boots, I have played out in the snow with my dog and my feet stayed warm and dry. They are easy to get on and off, because they have both tie and zipper closure, so I don't have to untie them to take them off, and they have a loop in the back to easily pull the boot on. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Well worth the money.

I am hoping a 1/2 Size larger will be GOOD! I REALLY LIKE this Winter boot and have lost count on how many I have tried (other Keens, The North Face, Merrell, Kamik). It has the Keen "Round Toe" and width across the ball of foot & toe area. EXCEPT the extra insulation could be WHY they are JUST a tad too narrow for me. I ordered the same size as my Keen Kaci Slide (WHICH I even ordered bugger to insert an insole for added CUSHIONING). It has nice arch support and your foot feels secure. The tongue is nicely padded! The Keen Hoodoo seems to have a better insole + outsole than my Kaci Slide (might NOT need to replace the factory insole). One of my heels started to rub a bit - but with a larger size: I will have room to add heel cups & try a thicker sock. The design of he TALL Keen Hoodoo III is SO MUCH better than the Short version (not on Zappos web site). The TALL version does NOT have an annoying seam right at the ankle bone: the SOFT lining seems to go right up to the top. I have WIDE ("athletic") calves and almost did NOT want to try a Tall boot! IF this boot fits me - know that the sizing for your calf is VERY GENEROUS!!!! The zipper seems good and I was gentle in the spot where the material changes. So here is hoping that the size 9 will be good!!!

I took other reviewers advice and chose a half size larger than my usual Keen size (I'm 7.5 in their sandals and chose size 8 for these boots). In preparation for a trip to Banff National Park, I tested these in a state park that had similar weather conditions to Banff. In freshly fallen snow that reached up to my knees, the boots did exceptionally well! They prevented snow from falling in, had really good traction (icy patches were hit and miss, I think long walks on ice would require some type of attachment), and kept my feet from hurting from the freezing temperature. I have poor circulation and tend to get cold very easily, so I wasn't expecting the boot to keep my feet toasty, but it did prevent them from turning into painful icicles so I consider that a win!
