These are very cute boots. I bought them to wear to football games, to keep my feet warm. So, I wear size 8 1/2 in the Keen sandals, and I agree with the reviewer who sized up for the boot. If you need to wear thick wool socks, and toe warmers, you need to go up just 1/2 size.

I bought these and some Columbia boots. Columbia was way more comfortable, so sent these back.

It's been a while since I tried and returned these so I can't remember the arch support. I tried a pair of Timberlands and liked them better so kept them instead. These looked good, fit well, and the quilting felt nice, just they were not my first choice.

Purchased these after my Lands End snow boots finally gave out (after owning them for 20 years)!!!! With very little arch support, these boots held up with walking little over 5 miles (daily for me). Haven't had a chance to wear them consecutive days, but I'm liking them! Hoping they last 20 years!! :)

Adorable shoes, but not as comfy as the Columbia ones, and I am unsure how warm they will actually be. The toe box is on the tight side to wear with thicker socks. They felt more like nice and warm rain boots than actual snow boots.

I wanted something different from the generic black snow boots everyone seems to wear. These are great. I love the style and color. Also love that they are shorter. Works better when the conditions are wet or slushy. I bought them bigger so that I could wear heavy socks and that works great. Seem to work well for days when the snow is melting and you want to stay warm and dry. Not sure yet how they would perform in actual snowy conditions.

These are very nice looking. However the toe box is a bit tight and I do not have wide feet. I ordered the size 8. If I had gone up to 8.5, my foot would have slipped out. Wearing thin socks may have worked but I like to wear thicker Smartwool socks in the winter when I plan to wear these. Also, they didn’t have much cushion or support . Unfortunately I had to return.

I normally wear an 8 or 8.5. They were both snug. When I ordered the 9, it was a perfect fit and feel. Keen is always a great product. I don't love the orange laces, but I can swap those out for a less bright color.

I have worn Keen hiking shoes for several years during the winters here in Iowa so I thought I'd give their boots a try. I ordered the Elsa II because they are insulated. I liked the style and the quilting around the ankle made them very comfortable when laced up. However, I did find the toe box a little narrow while wearing thick socks (which I wear all winter). It is possible they would have stretched out over time, but they are uncomfortable enough I decided not to put my feet through that. I did order the Kaci Winter mid boots to try. A couple of the reviews said they felt a little wider so we'll see how they fit.

This is a great looking little boot from Keen. I couldn't tell from the pics, but the lower part of the boot feels like some kind of rubber, which I guess is why they're listed as water-resistant or waterproof (duh)! Even so, they are very cute on, and pretty snuggly too. I thought they ran just a bit large, but that's easily dealt with wearing a thicker pair of socks. For the price, these seem like a great deal to me.

These I sent back. They didn’t fit because they were too short and a bit narrow for a size 11. And my orthotics in there, no way. Sure cute though.

I was looking for a lower shaft winter boot that didn't feel big and clunky but still provided waterproofing and insulation. There was too much space above my foot, not fitted enough, and it ended up feeling too much like big golashes and too clunky. And it didn't feel quite cushy enough.

We are going to be spending part of each year in Minneapolis with our grandkids and I need a warm boot that has excellent traction for snowy sidewalks. This boot is really not attractive to me -- it looks way too masculine. There is no arch support and the toe box is way too wide. I also don't think the traction is enough for compacted snow, which basically means ice. It may work well for walking dogs through wet woods or working on a farm in the winter, but those are not my needs. This one is going back and I'll keep trying. Thanks Zappos!!!

I have tried so hard to get this shoe to fit me because I think it is so cute and versatile. I would definitely get a lot of wear out of this, BUT there is no arch support (shame on you Keen) and the laces do not come up far enough to keep the flap against your ankle, so consequently it doesn't offer the warmth or protection of a boot. I have tried several pairs and I lace them as tight as I can, and literally in 3 steps the cuff is sitting way out and not touching my ankle. The whole shoe then feels sort of loose. Maybe they will do better next year. Love the style and color :(

Not viable for hiking/traveling because there is virtually no arch support.

Keen used to make shoes that comfortably fit my wide foot. In the past couple years I've tried several styles of Keen boots but almost all were too narrow in the toe box.

Really cute boot, however, I cannot even get my foot into the boot to determine if there is sufficient arch. These are extremely narrow in the arch with no room to expand the wide with the laces due to the design of the boot.
